2 year Anniversary gift ideas??

Question Posted Wednesday April 22 2009, 12:10 am

Okay, so my boyfriend and my 2-year anniversary is coming up. I am getting him a dc sweater. I think I might be writing some poetry about him too. I am not sure what to get him as he says he wants nothing for the 2 yr or he says he just wants me but I really want to get him something.

About him:
- He doesn't like chocolate
- He can't wear cheap gold/silver b/c it bugs his skin
- He has all of the cds of the bands he likes.
- Can’t do a scrapbook because he hates pictures and I don't have enough for a scrapbook.
- I’ve already bought him movies, clothes, etc.,

I will rate every response and thank you soooo much for your help!

Im not sure how much your looking to spend, but a promise ring would show him that you really care, especially if you wrote a poem to go with it. It doesnt have to be super expensive real silver or tungston can start at $40 and go up. im just not sure you want to spend that much. Hope i helped =]

For me and my ex boyfriends 3 yr anniversary I made him a little book of 100 reasons why I loved him. The whole thing was hand made and I sprayed it with some of my perfume before I gave it to him. He loved it. Or make him a coupon book full of things like 1 foot massage, 1 homemade dinner cooked by you, or 1 strip tease.

But if you guys arent that mushy maybe you could get him tickets to like a sports game if hes into sports or cook him dinner. Or even if you just bake him his favorite dessert and bring it to him. Or plan a special day for just the 2 of you. Like if he's into outdoor things take him hiking and pack a picnic.

For anniversarys I like to do things that are more from the heart rather than buying things. But thats just me.

How about you get him a real silver chain bracelet or something similar? Or maybe a ring with something meaningful written on the inside?
I know that my friend got her long term boyfriend a silver ring, with "never say never" engraved on the inside (That quote meant something special to them both,I'm not sure what though :P)
Or tickets to see his favourite band?
