My school starts at 8am and I live about 10 minutes away from my school. I usually wake up at 7:30 or 7:40. Do the math.. I take about 10-15 minutes to get ready. My routine is wake up, brush hair, brush teeth, throw on some clothes, put on makeup quickly, and then leave. When i'm at home, I think I look alright. Not great but not bad. Usually I just throw on some jeans and a sweatshirt. Wear my hair down or up in a ponytail. Makeup is usually eyeshadow with mascara and some blush.
However... When I get to school, I notice that a lot of girls are dressed really cute. They look like they actually spent more than 20 minutes getting ready.. I hate to admit it, but i'm so jealous of these girls. I wish I could get up earlier and spend time getting ready. There were so many times when I tried getting up early, but i'm not a morning person at all. I just either turn off my alarm clock or just hit snooze a bunch of times.
Can anyone help me? Any advice you can give me? How can I wake up earlier and actually spend time (more than 20 minutes) getting ready??? I want to stop looking "ok" and actually look cute for the day :) Thank you!
Why don't you try doing little things at night that will help you in the morning?
For example, pick out our outfit at night and have it hung up all together and ready to go. Have it all ready, shoes, socks, bra, underwear, jewelry. Everything. That way all you have to do is put it on in the morning instead of looking for everything.
Also, I dont know what type of hair you have but style it at night. Obviously you shower at night since showering isnt a part of your morning routine. So say if you want to wear your hair down and straight, style it perfectly at night so that in the morning all you have to do is run a straightener through it quick to fix any mess ups that happened over night.
Going with my first suggestion of getting your clothes ready at night, you can do the same thing with makeup. When your getting your outfit ready at night, decide what makeup your going to wear and set that all out together.
Waking up only 10 minutes earlier can make a HUGE difference if you pair that with all these things. Having all your stuff ready and waiting for you plus having a few extra minutes should give you plenty of time to make yourself appear like you took longer than 20 minutes to get ready in the morning.
I'm not a morning person either, so I know how you feel.

Well everyone thinks that my 7th grade science teacher is Lesbian she talks like a man and dresses like one and her fb pages looks like it. Sheee even looks like it. Also she isn't in a relationship and she likes rock music and electric guitars and well guy stuff. Plus me and my friend just got on her profile and looked at her pictures and she looked well lesbo. So I was just wondering do u think she is? how else can u tell...?...it feels akward being around her.
Honestly, its really none of your business what her sexual preference is. What difference does it make? And why in the world would you feel akward being around her? If she is a lesbian, do you think shes interested in 13 year old girls? I highly doubt it. You should try concentrating on what shes teaching you instead of gossiping about her sexuality.
After my cousin passed away this past summer, I've been looking into getting a tattoo to honor him. I know exactly what I want to get for a tattoo, but I'm struggling with deciding on the placement. I want it to be somewhere it will look nice, but also is easily hidden. I don't want it to be in a place that is considered inherently "sexy" because I would find that inappropriate for a tattoo honoring a family member.
The tattoo is simply going to say "imagine" either in John Lennon's handwriting or in my own.
My cousin loved to be outside and to be barefoot, so the location I've most wanted to get it is on the foot. However, I've heard many tattoo artists won't do foot tattoos, so I've been looking into other possibilities.
So far my options seem to be foot, ribs, or shoulder.

I think that the foot sounds like a perfect idea, given what you have said about your cousin. Maybe tattoo artists are different in different locations, but I live in PA and Ive never heard of any tattoo artists around here not doing tattoos on feet. You can always print out what you want and take it to the tattoo shop that you wanted to go to and ask them. The artists usually have tons of idea since its what they do all day long. Good luck and Im sure whatever you decide to do, it will look great!
So I have a big chest and I dont lkikeflanting it so much so I wear things that are tastful and right for my age. I do wear vnecks and that type of thing. And jeans almost every day and convers or my toms. But the subject that I dress like an old lady came up the other day. I like wearing elegant tops in soft colors, and vintage jewelry and such and alot of my stuff I buy new from stores like express or lucca.
My friends are kinda goth dressing, like black and skater clothes. So Im not sure if I need new clothes or new friends. Cause everyone else I ask say I look fashion forward. But I dont know if they are being nice.
If you like your clothing and you feel comfortable in it, then dont change it. NEVER change something about yourself just because of someone else. If your friends are really friends, then they will care about you, not your clothes. From what you said, it sounds to me like you have pretty good taste in clothing. Anyone who cant fully accept you as you are, isn't worth your time.
So one day i got in the car with my girlfriend and noticed that my set was moved. she was driving. i am normally the only one that sits there, and i noticed the broken window was moved differently then wat it was the night before. mind yu my gf goes to school, and i dnt. she droped me off at my house and the window an chair was normal. she goes to school an backand its all different. Also, i found a t-shirt that wasnt mine nor hers in her car. along with underwear (i wear boxers she wears xsmall, and the underwear were a medium. i asked her about it calmly and she fliped broke up wit me ect. accused me of accusing her for cheatin. she has already lefted me for my bestfriend. we been together 5 months...

She has a guilty conscious and is trying to flip it on you. Shes trying to make you feel bad so you forget about it and suck up to her. Dont fall for it. It definitely sounds to me like shes up to know good. I have my share of experience with shady girlfriends as well and trust me this is one of them.
My daughter is 13 and I'd like for her to start paying for her new clothes, accesories, and basically everything. Of course I would still pay for her food and keep a roof over her head. She doesn't have a job but she gets $5 a week for allowance. Do you think it's okay to make her start paying for stuff?
No its not okay. What do you expect your daughter to be able to buy with her $5 per week allowance? That isn't even enough for a tee shirt. Your child is only 13 and you are her parent. It is your responsibility to provide her with the essentials she needs, such as clothes. I can understand you wanting your daughter to learn the value of a dollar, and that is a great lesson. But you need to wait a few years. Maybe until she is at least old enough to get a job. At that point, she can buy "extra" things that she wants. But even at that point you will still be responsible for the daily essentials such as clothing and hygiene products.
I have a job application for a restaurant and it says I have to list three past jobs and I haven't had any. what do I put? The only thing I've ever did is babysit. Ive been applying for jobs and I put babysitting for past jobs and I haven't gotten a call back for none of them.
My first job was an under the table job too. When it came time for me to get a job at a place like a restaurant or store or something I just left the experience part blank. They know that there are people that have never really had a job before. It is a little harder getting a job with no experience but someone will give you a chance. I searched everywhere for this dress in a blue or light blue and cant find anything. Its possible that they dont make it in any other color. The color listed for the dress is peacock blue though, so maybe it would look different in person. Sorry, I tried!
Well my sister who is 12 wants to get her belly button pierced. She has parent pemission. but we don't know where to get it done. and its legale to get it done at her age. we checked.
Tattoo shops are where you would go for piercings. Look in the phone book or on the internet for places in your area. Call them and find out what their age requirements are (some places wont pierce under the age of 18 even with a parent) and find out when the piercer will be there and if you need to make an appointment. Then your set!
I'm 13 and I want my bellybutton pierced. I talked to my mom and she said it was illegal and that you have to be 18. I don't want to wait until I'm 18. Some places will do it as long as you have a parent or guardian there with you to sign for it. Call around the places in your area and then talk to your mom about it. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT attempt to pierce it yourself. It is very dangerous and you could get a real nasty infection. Trust me on this.
My mom just had a baby and I noticed he had finger nails when he came out. They are pretty sharp and I was curious how it is that he didn't cut her insides up when he was in the womb? I mean I know he isn't going to like kill her with his fingernails but they seem so sharp so surely he caught them on her insides, right? How is it that babies don't cut their mom's internally with their finger nails?
All of these answers make sense but I just wanted to add it could also be because the baby is in the amniotic sac while in the womb so thats like a barrier between the baby itself and the womb. Hope I helped!

Make her a handmade book of at least 100 reasons why u love her. It can be serious things, silly things, whatever. Taking the time out to do it will show her plus she will have something to look back on everytime shes unsure =). Oh and on the last page write her a really sweet letter or note or something. My bf is just turned 24 and I really REALLY like him a whole lot, hes so funny. The thing is I told him I had just turned 18 yrs old. That isn't the truth tho. I'm really almost 15. You need to tell him. The fact of the matter is it IS illegal for him to be dating you and the excuse that he thought you were 18 wont matter to police. Its still illegal. Even if you outright told them that you told him you were 18, it is still illegal and they wont accept that as an excuse. So unless you want him to be arrested, you need to tell him. Once your mom finds out, im sure she wont be happy and she will blame it on him. There are tonnns of guys your own age or at least under 18 that are suitable for you, so dont risk ruining this guys reputation/ life by lying to him.
Okay, I'm 16 & a female. I'm also bisexual & my boyfriend can't accept the fact that I'm bi. He says he wishes I liked ONLY guys & stuff like that. Then he says that he hates gays, lesbians, bisexuals & it hurts. But then my bigsissy ( well that's what I call her ) can't stand the fact that I'm bisexual either. Tell them that if they are truly friends, they wouldnt care what your sexual orientation is. I may be wrong but Im thinking that you might not say very much to them about this. You need to be firm and serious and say to both of them "Look im sick and tired of you two acting this way. Either grow up and accept me for who I am, or leave me the hell alone because Im not dealing with it anymore. As I said, if they are really friends (or a good boyfriend) they will cut it out. If not, move on and find better people to occupy your time because theyre just not worth it.
When I say my friend, I honestly mean my friend. Here's the situation...
Her boss calls her a lesbian. She sets her up in situations that she knows will get her in trouble, she makes her clock out and go across the street to go buy her lunch. She talks about her personal [sex] life all the time. (She's either a total whore or a pathological liar.) She's rude to the customers and she brings her friends into work. (And introduces my friend as a lesbian).
I know she's talked to her boss and it hasn't worked. She's also talked to her boss' boss, and she told my friend to "loosen up!"
I think this whole situation is totally unprofessional and inappropriate. And I really want to help my friend find a way to stop the harassment she's experiencing at work.

The person below me has an excellent idea. Your friend can also contact the company headquarters because what her boss is doing is sexual harassment. But she might need some kind of proof being that the boss is the boss and your friend is just an employee. If she does contact the company headquarters, she needs to tell them that she likes her job and wants to continue working there but simply cannot work with the boss treating her the way she does and something needs to be done. She needs to tell them that she tried talking to the boss and the boss's boss but that didnt help and if no action is taking she will be forced to file a sexual harassment suit. If your friend is under 18, she should probably have a parent call. Either way, whoever calls needs to be firm. No one should have to work under these conditions. So I'm a female teenager in high school. And I'm falling for my friend...who is also a girl. I've always known that I didn't like guys. Growing up I was never interested, never had feelings. When girls started getting boyfriends, I didn't. I just viewed them as friends.
Anyway, I have yet to come out to well...anyone. The only people that know are my online friends.
But anyway, last year I met this girl (my crush) and we became pretty good friends. I didn't see her much during summer, but once school started back up we started hanging out a lot.
She's openly bisexual. And I feel like there's just something...there. More than a friendship, but I don't know how to go about telling her! The thought of it kind of scares me, partly because I have yet to come out, and another part because I'm just afraid of her reaction.
I don't want to ruin our friendship if she doesn't like me like that.

I am bisexual as well and I totally agree with iwantthetruth if your crush doesnt know that your into girls. If she does know, words arent necessarily needed at first. You can just try to flirt with her a little and see how she reacts. That could be a good way to tell if shes into you or not. Use your gut instinct. Or, if you talk to her thru text or aim or something like that, thats a perfect way to try flirting without having to be face to face. Ask her what shes doing the weekend thats coming and if she says nothing say that you should do something together. Try to make plans with her. And try to make it just the two of you. That way you can really try to read what signals shes giving you. Hope I helped and good luck!
