Is she a Lesbian?

Question Posted Saturday March 5 2011, 1:04 am

Well everyone thinks that my 7th grade science teacher is Lesbian she talks like a man and dresses like one and her fb pages looks like it. Sheee even looks like it. Also she isn't in a relationship and she likes rock music and electric guitars and well guy stuff. Plus me and my friend just got on her profile and looked at her pictures and she looked well lesbo. So I was just wondering do u think she is? how else can u tell...?...it feels akward being around her.

Honestly, its really none of your business what her sexual preference is. What difference does it make? And why in the world would you feel akward being around her? If she is a lesbian, do you think shes interested in 13 year old girls? I highly doubt it. You should try concentrating on what shes teaching you instead of gossiping about her sexuality.

Why does it really matter if she's a lesbian? It wouldn't make her any different from you. She just has a different gender preference.

To be quite honest, it's really none of your business. Leave her alone, stop going on her Facebook, and stop worrying about what the fuck she's doing (or who she's doing for that matter) and grow up. How she dresses, what music she listens to, or how she talks is none of your business. Your teacher's personal life is none of your business, and you should not be poking & prodding around with something that has nothing to do with you.

She is there to teach you Science. She isn't there for anything else. Mind your business and keep it moving because I'm sure if someone did this to you and you found out, it would hurt your feelings.

Oh, and even if she is a lesbian, there's no reason for it be awkward around her. Just because she might be gay doesn't mean she has a crush on every girl she sees, and it certainly doesn't mean that she's interested in children. Grow up.

You should never feel awkward being around a lesbian or a homosexual or an african american or a chinese or mexican or anyone at all. People are people, plain and simple. If she prefers the company of women, then good for her. If she prefers to be alone, good for her. It shouldn't matter her sexual preference as long as she's a good teacher and knows her subjects. You don't have to like everyone in the world or feel pressured to be friends with someone because you feel guilty about something but you should never judge a friendship by their sexuality. If you don't want to be friends or be around her that's fine but she would probably appreciate it if you didn't go around school spreading rumors or talking about her behind her back. I hope this helps and good luck.

You don't know. You can't tell from looking at someone.

Stop talking about your teacher's personal life. It's rude and childish. How would you feel if they all sat in their break room wondering which of their students were gay, or stalking on your Facebook to figure out if you were sexually active, or made jokes about how you dressed, or when you were on your period.

That would be mean and embarrassing, right?

Right. It's natural to be curious about people who appear to be different, but your teacher's private life in her own business. Be the bigger person and let it be. Your discomfort is something you should try to work on, so you'll be able to exist peacefully and respectfully with the many different people in this world.

Well, first of all, don't feel awkward being around her. If she is a lesbian, there is nothing wrong with that. :)
If you think she may be interested in you or your friends if she is a lesbian, don't think like that. She is a professional. Unless she physically touches you somewhere, there is no need to worry about it.
You can't really guess if someone is a lesbian or not, and there is no way to tell. Sometimes girls that are lesbians dress VERY preppy. All depends on if you want to be a guy in this senario.
I'd say, don't judge someone just because they dress like a guy or talks like a guy. It could be just the way she is :)
