Bicycle bum pain

Question Posted Sunday April 19 2009, 8:28 am

I ride my bicycle for 20 minutes at least 4 times a week. Problem is, it hurts my bum!

I'm a woman who is somewhat overweight.

I already got an extra large seat, and that helped a lot.

Any tips on how to avoid bruising? I have to sit in an office chair for 12 hours immediately after riding my bike, and it kinda sucks :(

you could get those squishy, comfy bike seats that slip on right over your regular bike seat.

i have one :)

You could try cycling shorts, those have padding in the bum area, this helped my sister :)
