I weigh about 131 pounds and I'm 5'4 (I'm a female) I'm kinda curvy, but I would like to weigh around 115. Is this seriously a realistic weight? If so, how should I go about losing the weight in a healthy manner?

Well, doctors say that someone your height should weigh about 120. So I don't see anything wrong with it. I have friends who are 5'7 and weigh like 110. It's perfectly fine to want to weigh that much. So, if you want to lose to weight I'd go about watching your fat intake in foods. Don't eat fatty things. Don't worry much about carbs, but don't go overboard. You need those for energy. Try making up an exercise routine. Jog for a lil and do some basic exercises. Or you oculd even make up a dance routine, that's what my sister and I are doing. If you do that, you should lose the weight you want to. xoxo

where is the best place to buy a fancy dress not formal or semi formal casual-fancy

If you know of a store called DEB then go to it! They have the best dresses there! And they don't cost much at all. They rock! If not, look it up online to where the best local stores are in your area, or shop online at deb lol or Jc pennys and such! xoxo

ok so i have had my period for almost three years now and the first two were regular. But i had surgery in the begining of july and i had my period at the end of july. But after that i havent had it, its been 5 months and i know tis sounds crazy but i want it. It sso annoying not noing wen ur gonna get it. Is this normal after having surgery? if it is then y did i get it in july and not after?

You should tell your parent/guardian about it. And probably see a doctor about it. I haven't known this to be very common. Mine has been odd too.. so perhaps its mother nature being weird but I'd get assured by a doctor. xo

I'd go ahead and try and flirt. You never know until you try it out. It's hard to determine your chances if he hasn't said so. I'm sure if he acts like he still likes you then you didn't miss your chance. xo

I'm a moderately happy person. I'm in love, I have really supportive friends, and I have great artistic outlets for my emotions, but for some reason I keep having these reoccurring thoughts of suicide. Every time I sit by my window I think of diving headfirst into the driveway three stories below. I don't know what to think of it. Is this normal?

I guess I can say, that it is pretty common these days for people to think about suicide even though it isn't considered by the professional to be normal. But really, what is normal? I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as you DO NOT act apon it. I can't say that I've never had these type of thoughts along with many others. Perhaps you should consider some counseling so you can figure out what would make you think about dying seeings you are a pretty happy person. I would try staying away from my window if I were you. That seems to somehow and some way be a sorce of your problem. I think there may be a secret behind why you think about suicide that you yourself just don't know yet. I have had my navel pierced since last july and right now it is so infected that it hurts to touch any where near it. any advice?

Good job ace. Had that happen myself. Do you have puss coming out of it? You really should get some antibacteria soap and some rubbing alcohol and clean it daily. And if it doesn't get better you'll need to see a doctor. And whatever you do, DO NOT take the ring out. The infection will get trapped inside your body and won't be able to heal and could make you sick. Take the ring out while taking a shower so it can get washed out. Then put it back in because you don't want your hole shutting. Try washing the ring in some alcohol to get rid of any infection germs. All of this worked for me.. good luck. Oh and don't sit there and mess with it. Oils and germs from your skin don't help. xoxo

Ok, I am 14 and turning 15 in a couple of months. I have not started my period and I wear a size B bra so I'm not sure why i haven't started yet. My sister and mom started when they were 12-13 years old, is there something wrong? Thanks Alot!

Nothing is wrong yet. You still have time for that to come along. If you haven't started by the time you are 16, then you should be worried and you'll need to go to the doctor and find out what's wrong.

7th grade? And you want to do this? Hah.. you're going to regret that one but that is besides the point. I wouldn't think you all would have any disease at this age. The only way you could would to be if the guy had jacked off and still had cum/sperm on his hand and it got in you. Or if he had jacked or fingered someone else who had one which is unlikely. But he would HAVE to have an std for you to get one so I don't think you have any worries. Beings you are young, your vagina isn't fully developed so fingering could hurt if he tries to put in too many. xo

Okay, well, I'm 13, and two days ago I went to the bathroom and saw some blood in my...well, underwear...and I didn't talk to my mom about it I just waited to see what happened in a little while after I changed. The next day I didn't get any more blood, I just got big amounts of discharge, and this has never ever happened to me before. My face also broke out, and I was craving chocolate and I was really tired. Does this mean I'm going to get my period soon?

Yep, it does. Lucky you. You're about to enter one of the first stages of being a female teen. I crave chocolate too... it's the caffine. I've had it for three years.. haha. Anymore questions about it, let me know. You should tell your mom about it too. Oh and a lot of girls break out on their face because of it. Oh and I wouldn't expect a perfect shedule right now. It seems as if you're just getting it and it's pretty irregular during your first year or so.

Take it from experience, you are too young to think about doing that. I'm sure you've heard that 50 times before and only because it's true. Your parents should want to kill you (not literally) for taking it to the next level. Wait a couple of years. You have your whole life ahead. Don't worry about taking it to the next level at such a young age. Worry about fun and family and friends like we all truthly should be. You'll regret it if you do "take it to the next level". That's a tough spot to be in. You have to stop and think if really love this guy enough to still date this guy while he is hs. Is it really worth it to not see him as much and all that good stuff. If you think you'd be better off taking a break then do it. Do whatever will make you happy but consider his feelings if you decide to break it off for a while. Explain your reasoning so he doesn't think you are blowing him off. I'm sure this boy will be tempted next year by other girls and you not being around and then you might have to worry about if he will like someone elsae, not saying he will. That usually happens though. Personally, I'd tell that you wanted to take a break until you two were in the same school and such so it would be easier to persue a relationship. You could stay the best of friends so that not much would change, just not be dating. Sounds like a plan to me? heh. Best of luck, xo

'i'm being sexually harrassed by this guy i know, and so is every other girl in myclass except for two. His sexual harrassment is getting me in troubel with some of my teachers. It's cometothe point that i'm afarid to be alone with him because i'm afaird of what he'll do to me. You need to inform someone. Rather it be your parents, or people at school or the police (police would really get him in trouble though). That isn't right at all. Huge invasion of your personal space and really disrespectful towards females. For your sake and all of these other girls, you should probably tell someone of high power. Especially if this is making you so uncomfortable. That'd be best or else I don't think he's going to stop especially if you've told him so. If you don't want to get him in trouble then I don't know what to tell you. Because I don't know what you think on that standard. Something needs to be done though or nothing will happen to change this. I'd tell someone at school so all that happens is they talk to him and perhaps suspend him or something and put him on some sort of probation so he'll stop. And if after that he doesn't, perhaps you should consider reporting him to the police. That's a sexual offense... I wouldn't try and hit him or anything to make him stop. Ok, if you guys aren't really best friends and such are you sure it's wise to do this? Sex isn't usually something you just do, ya know? I wouldn't really tell him if you aren't that close. It might weird him out also. How old are ya? Depending how old you are can determine if you should have sex with him. I think you really need to sit and think about if you just want to have sex with this boy because he is attractive or if you really like him. And if you do like him, perhaps you should work on becoming closer with him first. Throwing away sex like that could be regretted in this situation. I know you care about this guy but it really isn't good for you to be dating someone that is so much older. No matter if you do anything or not, it is still illegal for him to date you and if higher powers found out this guy could get arrested. That isn't a good situation for you at all sweetie, been there done that. Plus. I'm not saying this guy will but he is much older than you and well to be honest he has a penis and he's going to want to try things eventually. I'd hate to see you get in a bad situation sweetie. But it's your decision. All I can do is warn you.

Whenever I almost do anything like play tennis, volleyball, cheerleading, piano, etc, I always get nervous, but only when people are watching me. I always play bad at tennis when this one boy is there, but when he's not, I do fine. I know, I know, just block it out. But I try just to focus on what's going on on my court, but it's so hard. Anyone have any tips?

Well I know trying to pretend they aren't there is hard. If you can't do that then try and get some friends to play with you and such. So you get used to having people around and watching you. If you play all of these things you just enjoy them right? Just do it for the fun and do your best and don't worry about the other people. The only one you should be trying to impress is yourself. If it helps, before you play one of these sports, take a few deep breaths and get yourself ready and consentrated. Do some stretches (i know that sounds dumb) as you are taking your deep breaths so your mind gets put at an ease. :)

So I've been preparing fish a lot lately...but haven't ever had to thaw it. Now I've got to thaw it...and I can't remember the best way to do it. Sound silly? It is. I won't use the microwave...because I just wont. I know my mom usually thaws chicken in a tub of luke-warm water...but does that work effectively with fish? So how should I thaw this thing? Thanks.

Hot water in the sink will work. My grandmother has done it before. You may have to leave it sit for a while and give it time. Put in the bowl of water a hour or two before you plan to prepare it. That should be fine.
