Question Posted Saturday December 25 2004, 3:59 pm
ok so i have had my period for almost three years now and the first two were regular. But i had surgery in the begining of july and i had my period at the end of july. But after that i havent had it, its been 5 months and i know tis sounds crazy but i want it. It sso annoying not noing wen ur gonna get it. Is this normal after having surgery? if it is then y did i get it in july and not after?
Zoinatrobe answered Wednesday December 29 2004, 11:41 am: I think that might be something to do with your body not having enough blood to lose any through your period. Its natural to worry- my period comes like every two or three months but lasts for about 10 days and hurts LIKE HELL. I would go to the doctor. Good luck, and if anyone has any advice 4 me (about my weird period) PLEASE tell me.

P3aNutBuTta27 answered Sunday December 26 2004, 5:09 pm: Yes this is normal. The reason you didnt get it right after surgery was because you didnt have enough blood in your system and so in that case it kills most of the eggs in your menstral system causing you to loose your period.

MyPainIsReal answered Saturday December 25 2004, 7:54 pm: You should tell your parent/guardian about it. And probably see a doctor about it. I haven't known this to be very common. Mine has been odd too.. so perhaps its mother nature being weird but I'd get assured by a doctor. xo [ MyPainIsReal's advice column | Ask MyPainIsReal A Question ]
