either take it out, or rinse it with salt water. if it gets really infected, you have no choice but to take it out and wait atleast a month to re peirce it.

Good job ace. Had that happen myself. Do you have puss coming out of it? You really should get some antibacteria soap and some rubbing alcohol and clean it daily. And if it doesn't get better you'll need to see a doctor. And whatever you do, DO NOT take the ring out. The infection will get trapped inside your body and won't be able to heal and could make you sick. Take the ring out while taking a shower so it can get washed out. Then put it back in because you don't want your hole shutting. Try washing the ring in some alcohol to get rid of any infection germs. All of this worked for me.. good luck. Oh and don't sit there and mess with it. Oils and germs from your skin don't help. xoxo

it could be infected for several reasons. take it out and clean it for a few days. since it was last july, it should be fully healed. and even if it were this past july, it would still be fully healed. after a few days (or as long as it takes to clear up) put a different belly ring in. see how that works. it may be the ring you have in it. you could be allergic to it. so try that and make sure that you keep it really clean.

well... its probably still healing and you might have took it out too soon.. or you bought a ring that had something on it that made your bellie get infected, or you could be allergic to the peice of metal or the jewlery... keep cleaning it, and change the ring, if it still is infected by 2 weeks of cleaning it out with antibacterial soap then go to the doctors. hope ived helped! x0

ow! well, maybe your body is allergic to the jewelry. you should this peircing cleaner, its called H20cean. you can order it online or find it in peircing shops. just make sure you clean it well and if it gets anyworse, or doesnt get any better then should should probably just take it out. maybe once it heals you can get it redone! i have my navel peirced and it got a little bit infected at the beginning but i used the H2OCEAN stuff and it worked really good.

You might be allergic to it. Like, some people are alergic to nickel. I would take it out, and go to the doctor and find out what's up. Good luck!
Hope I helped!
Happy Holidays!

my ears get infected if i wear nickel and my neck. i lost a back to one of my earings so i used another, found out it was nickel the hard way. all i did was take it out and let it heal. you should do the same, take it out and let it heal, or if its not gold then get a gold one to put in it. and of course try to clean it and put some stuff on it like the earing cleaner or something
hope i helped

I hear that if you're in pain in one place on your body, and you shoot yourself somewhere else, you totally forget about the inital pain!

You should take it out! I have my belly button pierced too and when I got it pierced, it got infected really bad but I kept it in (I know, I'm dumb) but the infection went away because I kept on using antibacterial items that the piercer gave me! If it's really infected, take it out and go see a doctor! But if it's not, you can keep it in because I promise, it will go away! Hope I helped :)
