My period has been sorta normal lately, like 2 days off from the expected date, but I was supposed to get it on the 13th of july and now today will be the 8th day late. there is no chance i'm pregnant, so that's not it. i told my mom and everything. but is it normal to get it late sometimes but most the time regularly? i started my period when i was 13.

A girl's period is irregular for the first two years. Since you've only had yours for a year, you're fine and have nothing to worry about.

I like this guy, it's my boyfriends best friend... kind of bad I know. This guy really isn't what most would consider attractive hes a real big guy but i love his personality he's really cool.. i have noticed this more and more since my boyfriend treats me like crap. I don't think this guy would do that to his friend though.. what should I do about this...? I mean me and this guy hang out sometimes.. should I tell him wussup

Tell your boyfriend the truth. If you feel like he treats you like crap and you don't want to be with him, end things with him.


Then, if you DO decide to go after his friend, give it some time. Don't rush into it, as that will cause tension in your boyfriend and his friend's relationship.

Ever since my boyfriends x from high school *his first "love"* broke his heart he doesn't get attached to anyone or tell anyone his feelings how do i get him to open up to me? I really do care about him and I wont break his heart..

I agree that first you need to open yourself up to him in order for him to feel comfortable opening up to you. So, start talking to him and involving him in more personal issues. Show that you're ok going to him when you need somebody to talk to.


Then, sit down and have a serious conversation with him. Tell him that you truly care about him, and you want your relationship to be open, you WANT him to be able to talk to you about anything. Let him know you're always there to listen, but don't force him to share everything he's feeling with you. When he's ready, he'll start talking =]

ok... this guy i had a crush on and we were kinda friends and he called me a hoe "i told him never to talk to me again" and left. a couple days later all of his friends keep saying to forgive him! i mean im still pretty hurt and he feels bad. what should i do?

Wow, what a jerk. I wouldn't forgive him unless HE [not his friends] came up to you and apologized. So unless he comes up to you physically and tells you that he's sorry, you're right for being angry with him.

No, you should not be worried. The only time you should worry is when you go like, 4 months or more without your period.

i have braces and ever since i got them on my teeth arent as white as they used to be. and i brush my teeth. does anyone know what i should do? and what would help?

You should try using a whitening toothpaste. My brother and I use one by Crest, and it was in a blue box, but that's all I remember =/

Okay, so my friend, lets call her "Luna", and I got into a stupid fight last month that only lasted a day.

The next day, my other friend, "Jamie," kept trying to start stupid fights with Luna. Now they've been at each other's necks since the fight Luna and I had and they always bring me into the fight. I always tell them to stop the fighting and how I feel about it, but they don't lisen and expect me to choose a side. What do you guys think I should do?

Stay out of it.

You need to let them work this out by themselves, because it doesn't really concern you. Picking sides will only cause more tension in the relationship. If they want you to pick a side, tell them they're both acting like babies and you're picking neither. That's all you have to say, then just walk away and let them sort out whatever it is they're fighting about.


Staying out of it won't cause any damage on your side. =]

Long story short: I got kicked out of my house for a lip piercing in April. A week later, my mom begged me to move back in. I asked her if I would be able to come and go as I please because I'm 18 now. She said yes, so I moved back in.

Now, in July, she has made so many rules that go against what we agreed. I can't leave the house past 11:00pm, I have to be home by 1:00am, and I can only stay the night at someone's house once a week.

I'm not taking any classes and I can't work (don't ask why, I just can't), so it's not like I have to wake up early for anything. I'm not involved in drugs or sex and she knows that. She just went against everything we agreed on.

What do I do? My friends are tired of leaving clubs early to take me home. And I want to spend the night at people's houses.

Honestly? I'd suck it up and follow her rules. If she's allowing you to live in HER house, you should follow HER rules. If you want to follow your own rules, live on your own.


I don't mean to be rude in any way, that's just my personal opinion. Not only is she looking out for you, but I think following the rules would also show maturity and a sense of responsibility. And if you show your mom you can be mature and responsible, maybe then she'll start to take it down a notch with all the rules =]

If April was your first time getting your period, or you've only had it for a year or two, you're completely fine and there's no need to worry. It will eventually become regular.

we've been dating for almost a year and my idea for our year since we havent taken many pictures was take one of the pictures we have and put it in a little frame for him and then put it in a box with a shirt he'd like along with our favorite candy that we purchase and eat together quite frequently which happens to be gummy worms & put a few bottles of his favorite pop and maybe an energy drink in there and give it too him that way does this sound like something you would enjoy to get?

For something extra, maybe you can make him a mix CD of all the songs that remind you of him. Or you can make him a card and put it in there, too.

So I'm in 8th grade and I like this guy at my church. I do talk to him but he usually comes up to me and talks. He is with his friends alot or talking to other people. I want help with this. How can I talk to him? Its really hard for me. Thanks!

Talking to guys really isn't a big deal. They're people just like you. Yeah, sometimes when their friends are around, you might get nervous, but you just have to get over it and stay calm. Just get to know him. Ask what his favorite band is, his favorite movie, if he has siblings, anything.

I haven't really even given this much thought in a loooong time, but this keeps coming to mind and it's annoying, so any help would be great.
I'm not sure how old I was, probably around 9--I'm much older now. But I was over a friend's house, she was probably 2-4 years older than me. So we were just playing, and at some point she started mentioning how she wanted to 'do things', and I know I was nervous and didn't want to but I have no idea what I said. So she ended up getting me to take my clothes off (I'm pretty sure she said she 'wouldn't play with me' if I didn't--as sad as that sounds) and ended up touching/getting me to do the same to her.

The thing is, was this my fault or was I responsible or what? I have no idea how to analyze this, and I never really mentioned it to ANYONE, so ... yeah. Any thoughts..?

My opinion is that it wasn't your fault. You were young and you didn't know what was going on, so you just went with it. Don't feel guilty about it or anything, it's the past, it's unchangeable and it wasn't your fault. I really don't think either of you are at fault here, because you were young and curious and there is nothing wrong with that.

What's with the refferences about babies being born at proms or dances or whatever. I've heard jokes/songs/etc about it but I don't quite understand where it came from?

I didn't fully understand your question, either, but I think it's because for a lot of teens:
prom = sex
sex = babies

I have dark brown hair that goes below my shoulders. I have side bangs and my hair is layered. I want to use hair ties more. I usually just use them for a ponytail. Pig tails don't work very well with me either. Any other ideas?

Also how can you curl your hair when its just past your shoulders? And if anyone has any other hair ideas I would love to hear them. Thanks so much!

You can do a side ponytail, or braids. You can also take the sides of your hair and put them up in a half ponytail.


As far as curling your hair goes, just use a curling iron. I have a small one that's pink from Conair and it works really well [my hair is just like yours].

on my sims game one of my sims is "going steady" with another sim. and they are both teenagers. well the girl sim, the my guy sim is dating, isn't apart of like the sims community. like she doesn't have a house i can see in the neighborhood and shes not one of the people in the sim bin that need a house...so once my guy sim becomes an adult he won't be able to date the girl cause i can't control her life so i can't make her become an adult.

the question is...
is there a way i can somehow get the teenage girl to become an adult? or is there maybe a way i can control her?

Sadly, there is no way [at least none I know of] to make a teenager that isn't in the neighborhood an adult =/

I recently bought a laptop for when I go off to college in August, and it arrived today.
I have everything set up (as I am using it right now).
I have transfered all of my word documents & pictures, etc. by using my flashdrive.
I attempted to use my flashdrive to transfer my itunes music, but it didn't work.

I'm not sure how else to do that.
Does anyone know how I can move my itunes music from my computer to my new laptop?

My computer is a windows xp and my laptop is a dell (the laptop has 2 sticker things on it that say "windows vista" and "intel centrino" if that helps).

There's a website called Music Rescue. Download it onto your new computer, then plug your iPod in.

It will save everything on your iPod to a folder that you can import into your iTunes.
