Limes are green and sweet.
Lemons are yellow and sour.

Uh, one of them is a lemon, and one of them is a lime...
They're both used in recipies, & drinks like lemonade, limeade, lime rickeys, etc. Lemons are yellow, limes are green. Lime juice is sometimes used to rim the glass of a mixed drink to make the sugar stick to the rim. I think lemons might be used too, but I don't drink so I wouldn't know for sure =]

Well, physically, a lemon is yellow and a lime is green.

From there:
"Lime means sodium chloride and lemon is a fruit. Lime is a chemical, whereas lemon is a fruit."
