Question Posted Saturday July 19 2008, 11:21 pm

Me- 16-female
Boyfriend- 17-male
we've been dating for almost a year and my idea for our year since we havent taken many pictures was take one of the pictures we have and put it in a little frame for him and then put it in a box with a shirt he'd like along with our favorite candy that we purchase and eat together quite frequently which happens to be gummy worms & put a few bottles of his favorite pop and maybe an energy drink in there and give it too him that way does this sound like something you would enjoy to get?
would you give this to your boyfriend for your 1 year?
((moneys an issue for me))
which is why i cant go all out like he does for me.i love him

I'd also like to mabe right a long note about how this year has made me feel and how amazing its been an remind him of the good times we've had together.

ive got 40$ and what i have so far i have an extra about 20$ and id like to spend it on something to add to this
please give me some good ideas

This sounds like a great gift. Money doesn't have anything to do with how much he'll like your gift, either. I'm not a guy, but I'm sure he'll enjoy it =]

For something extra, maybe you can make him a mix CD of all the songs that remind you of him. Or you can make him a card and put it in there, too.

this sounds like a really nice gift. if you think about it it's a lot harder than just going and buying some type of jewelery like most guys do for anniversaries. you actually put a lot of thought into this gift. you made it more personal by getting his FAVORITE pop, gummy worms (because that's something special to both of you.. it's like YOUR candy) and a picture of you guys. these are all meaningful things. anyone can go out and buy a necklace.. but you actually put thought into this.

as for the extra $20 i would maybe get him the CD of one of his favorite artists, cologne (something you like.. so when he wears it he knows you're attracted to it hehe), a giftcard to one of his favorite stores or restaurants, his favorite DVD, or a giftcard to a movie theatre so you guys could see a movie together :)

I think that is a very thoughtful present to get him. It doesn't matter that you don't have much money, because the thought that you are putting into the gift is beautiful.

Anyways if you want to add something to it you could maybe think of what he likes. Does he like a band? CD perhaps? Maybe tickets to go see a concert? A good book that he might like? A hat! =]
Also, I did this for my brother and he liked it. Put all of his gifts into a scavenger hunt with clues and each time he solves a clue he gets another gift and another clue. And at the very end is the best gift! Hope I helped and happy anniversary!
