I'm 16/f, and I have 3 friends who always do stuff withought me. I feel like i'm never included in anything they do. And I always feel like they're talking about me at theyre little get togethers. I'm always sitting at home while they're out having fun and they don't even bother to call me. I also think they're parents hate me as well, which sucks even more. My question is, what should I do when they DO call me and what should I tell them?

You should call them more often, because that might be the reason why they don't invite you places. You don't have to tell them anything, because you can just talk. But you can also ask if you guys are still friends, and if there was anything you did. As for their parents, you never know, but it shouldn't matter, they aren't your friends. ok well next year i want to do track or croscountry are there any ways i can get fast but not make my miscles really big on my legs lik ie lik run for so long lik that please help me ill rate high....thanks

Try flexibility exercises, cause they'll thin out and strengthen your legs, and also do arobic workouts, and yes, run, but not soooo long. Also, eat protein, and calcium and stuff, not foods that make you thin, cause they dont strnegthn anything.=)

i have the habit of bitting my nails. =( i dont want to bit them...but i cant stop! i would do anything to stop bitting them!!! i dont want to bit them anymore and everytime i try to stop i just can't stop myself from bitting them! PLEASE...if you have any ideas on how to stop, please tell me!!!

My cousin knows I do this advice thing, and she has a question, but she's embarassed to ask me and she wants to ask the whole site not just one specific user. The problem is, she's 12. Would I get into trouble letting her ask it under my username? What about if I at least convince her to ask it to just one specific columnist, would that be okay? She won't tell me what the question is, so how do I go about it? I know that you're supposed to be 13+ to ask questions on this site, but... I don't know. What kind of trouble would I get in for letting her ask under my username? I won't if I'd get into trouble, like if I'd lose my modship, or if I'd be banned, but I can't convince her to ask me. So, would I be breaking the rules?

No, I think the guideline for 13+ users is just because some of the content is innappropriate for kids under 13.

okay so here it is. i wanna break up with my boyfriend and its Friday and we go back to school Tuesday. Hes suppose to give me my christmas present at school. Should i break up with him on the phone tonight or tomorrow that way he doesnt have to give me my present or should i break up with him on Tuesday. i need major help my mind is going crazy.

how do you go about asking a girl out?

I think I know who this is, so the easiest and best way to do it is on IM, although you never really know who exactly it is, so go into deep conversation first, and maybe have your other friends IM her to double check too. If she doesn't have IM, then try asking her at the end of the day, so she won't feel on the spot to say yes.=)

Since Patty and Cole are going out, you can't do anything nice to make them break up or anything. Also I'm not in your class this year so I dunno if you like drool over Patty or anything, but it might help if you chilled out a little bit, and just be really nice to her, which you already are. And when you talk to her on IM, you might wanna stop saying hey hottie, cause that might embarass her. And for the going out thing, she kinda has gone out w/ you when you guys go to the mall w/ Latie and Colton, But if you wanna be alone, or at least with another friend of yours, then find out something she really likes, like sports, and do something with that thats big(like tickets to a game or something) Knowing Patty, she wouldn't say no. I think you've given her a lot already, and maybe time will tell if she ends up liking you.=)

I'm trying 2 by a new drum set 4 mi band. it costs about $800. i have no money at all. i olny get 10 a week for alwoence and i'm trying 2 get it by feburary. what should i do to earn money? and yes i already have a drum set but it sucks. plz help.

If your old enough you should try to get a job, and/or put the money you have in the bank, to earn interest. Whatever you do, don't spend your money on anything like stuff with friends. And also, sell your old drum set. That would go for lots of $$, so it would help a bunch.=)Julia

okay I'm not ugly I get compliments all the time

You really need to get in touch with your old boyfriend. Just because you move doesn't mean you have to be away from him. The best thing to do is when you go shopping, or w/e, only pick out stuff that makes you feel totally AWESOME. Be yourself, be around people who bring that out in you, and people you love.

omg.. ok there was this whole rumor going around at school that all of me and my friends are lesbians... well they only think that because a couple of my friends told them what we did at partys.. Its true what we did but its not true we are lesbians.. what should I do?????

One, w/e u did at the party, don't do it again, and Two, flirt with guys and act very FRIENDly to your friends, so it wont seem like you guys are lesbians, and when people tease you and crap, just say, You can think that if you want or something like that

Okay, so some of you may remember me asking a question about going out with a guy 2 days after I broke up with another one. Well, I took that advice and now Ricky and I have been dating upwards of a month.

But lately I've been having second thoughts! Like, everyone I talk to says that we make a weird couple, and I'm starting to agree with them! Like, he's the Great American Redneck (seriously), with almost the entire stereotype of the word! He goes hunting, fishing, drinking, and wears camoflage(sp?) to school, and is in LOVE with country music. He wants to be a mechanic, loves racing and cars. He's like, the complete OPPOSITE of my type. AND he's obsessed with me!

And I'm so much different. I'm the, I guess you could say, rocker chick/goth. I do like country music, but I'd take a good metal/rock song over a country song any day of the week. I can't STAND hunting or camping of any kind, and I will not TOUCH beer. Yes, I'd love to know how to change a tire and possibly fix a few common engine malfunctions, but other than that, I really don't care much about cars. If it runs, GOOD. If it doesn't, OH WELL.

It's not that I don't like him, 'cause I really do. It's just that he's so different from me, and I'm just not sure. I've never dated someone like him. All the guys I've dated have pretty much been "bad boys" or something like that.

My question is, should I stay with him despite our differences? I do like him, but it's just... Strange.

You won't enjoy being around someone who doesn't have the same, or pretty close to, ideas for the future. He sounds so not your type, and yeah, you should move on. You can't just "Like" somebody for a successful relationship.=)

Im a 15 yr old girl, and im in love with one of my best friends and i dont know what to do or how to go about talking to him about it. for a while he liked me back but we didnt know that we liked eachother. now he has a girlfriend. i heard that they're not the happiest couple but they've been together for almost 3 months. i just found out the other day that he had feeling for me but i think its a little too late to do anything about it because he may have completely moved on. Should i talk to him anyway and see how it goes or should i wait until hes single again and then make my move?

You should defiantly talk to him, what are best friends for? I seriously doubt that someone would move on in a day or two. All you really have to say is, something like, The other day when I found out you liked me, I was just wondering if you still did. Hope I helped=)

Okay so tonight for new years eve i was supposed to be going over to my boyfriends house and drinkin and...what not. Then i tried getting my best friend to go with me and she was gonna but then some shit happened and her mom said no so we're PISSED. I love my boyfriend a lot and all but i can't decide on if i wanna go to his place tonight and see him or if i wanna stay here with my mom and spend time with her then see my boyfriend tomorrow or something. If your underage... you BETTER not go to your bf's house and drink!! Stay home with your mom, and tell your bf that you'll call him tomorrow. You might wanna mention how you shoulsn't be drinking, cause thats really really bad.

To add more body to your hair, try velcro rollers, because they won't curl your hair. But if you want wavy hair, you can either use a big curling iron, big hot rollers, or a wave enhancing spray. For other hair styles, you can (if you already don't have them) get long bangs, and if your hair is thin, then the layers will add more volume, because too much hair around the scalp will cause hair to be more oily. To improve your hairs texture, always blow dry with a round brush, and vloumizing spray.

If you like don't live near them or like go to a different school, try to make your social groups blend a little more. Like have some of your old friends over and new firnds over. But if you just feel like you aren't really interested or making an effort to be their friends, then its time to try calling or inviting them over more often, and things like that. But if they neglect you, move on.

I have these 2 friends, we're pretty close, and evryone in our class look at us as the "preps" and they always see us together, since we hang out alot. We spend recess together,and we eat lunch together too, like regular close friends. One of my friends, lets just say she is "mary" (not really)is closer to me than my other friend. but she always copies me! Once, she apologized but i was like w/e i dont care (not in a rude way i just sed its ok! ur not really copying) but she really wus. Whatever I do, she does! Im not sure wether 2 be mad that she is copying me or 2 be glad that she likes what I do? but i want her to STOP! some people probably think that I copy her now! HELP!!! (and i really dont want to talk 2 her about it because it will just make her feel bad and if u are going to tell me to change, I dont want to! i just want "mary" to stop copying me!

Maybe one day just cassually ask her why she copies your stuff. She may be jelous, you never know, so you can give her tips on stuff(if she wants them of course)But you have to talk to her, theres no other way out. =)Julia
