Ok. You CAN stop from bitting your nails! You could try the Old Fashioned trick ( putting a bad substabce that you do not like on the tip of your nails so that when you bite them you taste the bad substance) or you could try some Nail Biting Tips I have found:
1. Polish your nails a pretty color ( you wouldn't want to ruin the color!)
2. Keep an emry board with you
3. Tape up your nails ( that might not go so well)

LilMia811 answered Saturday January 1 2005, 12:24 am: Wear a rubber band around your wrist and everytime you catch yourself biting snap it. Also tell your friends when they catch you biting to snap it. you'll stop biting once you're tired of being snapped. There are also nail polishes that taste awful and are supposed to stop you from biting but I think the rubber band method is better plus its free lol. Also, don't bother spending your money on getting your nails done because if you really wanna bite you will bite that accrylic stuff off just to get to your nail, trust me cuz that's what I used to do. It tastes reallllllly gross. You can try that or even putting nail polish remover on your fingers works. It tastes really bad, so you in a way train yourself not to put your fingers in your mouth. Hope this helped. **EDIT: There is this thing called "Control-It" and "Thum" It's actually a nail polish that tastes really gross. Another idea, you could also go get a nice french manicure and get tips and you won't want to ruine it. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
