Okay im 12 years old and all my other friendshave boyfriends. I had a boyfriend for a day but he broke up with me so it dosent really count. Anyway i realllllly want one and i have no idea were to begen. thanks a bunch!!!!

Ok well I know having a boyfriend seems really important right now buuut i think you should put that wish on pause for awhile and work your way there because i can garuntee that you can get a boyfriend but he needs to be a quality guy that you really like in order for it to last longer than your boyfriends previously. So to start off I'd say forget about the "boyfriend". For now start off new. Flirt with guys to see what theyre like. Be outgoing and friendly to everyone (not only hot guys but ALL guys and girls). Make a lot of friends because guys like when you are liked. It may take awhile for all of this to happen but it's worth it. Eventually (who knows how long.. it might take til high school) you will find a great guy who cares about you for you and not only for the status of having a girlfriend. The idea of a bf can be really desirable, i know, but in order for it to really last and be something you are proud of, youre going to have to wait for love to find you.. dont go searching for it. um...this is gonna sound weird, but i'm 14, and i'm....like, hairy, if you know what i mean, my gf doesn't like it, how do i get rid of the hair without just shaving it, i've heard that doesn't work

Shaving is your cheapest option... but make sure to use shaving cream! And with shaving- it'll come back pretty quickly. Then the next option is waxing but, word of the wise, it will hurt! lol but it wont come back for awhile. And of course theres lazor hair removal... but I doubt you want to go to that extreme! and it's pretty spendy but it works and it doesnt come back!

I know what you mean... I used to feel SO uncomfortable talking to my dad about that stuff. Until one day i NEEDED him.... I told him that I felt weird talking to him about this but i thought I needed to. He loved that I came to him... I dont know he felt honored or something lol. But if you still can't get up the nerves to do that then just talk to a really close woman like an aunt maybe? or ya know I'm always here for you even though we dont know each other

At my school my back hand spring and back tuck were required along with a toe touch and loudness! hehe! but I dont know if thats the same for every other high school

when you need to get rid of a razor.. YOU'LL KNOW! lol believe me! If you're shaving and when you're done your legs are STILL hairy.. that's when you know for sure you need a new one :)

The truth is better... but the truth can always hurt too. I know we've been told that since forever but it's true. Sometimes fantasy is better than reality, and when someone breaks the truth to them, they are crushed to see that perspective of things. Try telling people in a nice way to make it sound not so terrible. Dont start lying... but dont be too forward about everything... it can really hurt people

I blush a lot too... a tan will help with that! the red shows up more on pale skin rather than tan! it helps with me so i hope it helps with you too!!!!

Okay well me and this guy were together over the summer and our relationship was kind of, well lets just say he wasnt so good at being a boyfriend to one girl. The thing is though that i fell for him and hes the first guy ive ever felt this way for. And i mean hes done some pretty shady things to me but still through all of that im there for him and i support him with everything (*making the college basketball team/new jobs/new car..everything*) and he knows how i feel. Well the other night we were talking online and he was telling me how amazing i am and how he really does love me and what not. Now normally id believe him but i cant because i know that if he truely did, he'd be with me right now and not a bunch of girls, ya know? So what im asking for is what is your perspective on this whole situation. wow... Well I think that if you dont believe him you'll regret it later.. and thats NOT something you want to do. But at the same time he's hurt you and youve seen him be a bad boyfriend to the other girl. How can you trust a guy like that? If I were you I'd tell him that if he REALLY meant all the stuff he said that one night online then he should prove it... make him prove to you that he's changed and can be the guy of your dreams... THATS when you really know. Tell him about your concerns with his ex and you. You might have to sit him down and MAKE him talk to you.. but do whatever it takes!! Its hard to get the questions out, but once you do youll feel soooooooo much better (Ive done it.. it was really hard to ask him straight out and to his face.. but i did it and i am SOOO happy that I did). Also, dont do it online. You have to talk to him face-to-face because that makes it a lot more real and its less likely he'll lie when he's looking staright at you! If everything ends up going well then dont just JUMP into him. Go slow so he doesnt feel like things are going way too fast. I really hope this helped!!!I'm always here!!

An idea I have is just to search your fridge before you go to school and decide on something good to eat for when you come home. Maybe you could prepare it the night before or something? That way you'll know whats waiting for you at your house and you'll be able to eat healthier if you plan it out. Youre not going to want to waste something you spent your time and effort into preparing. Hopefully this helps you! I'm always here if you need anything..

hey this is the girl who asked about steve.. wow you gave really good advice, thank you SO much!! But see, Steve DID ask me out.. 2 years ago.. and I was a dumbass and I said no. And I know that Steve DOES want a relationship, because he sometimes talks about how he wants a girlfriend. And he's not the type to just want a fling.. he's not your typical, hott, popular guy.. he's not even that great-looking, he's not popular but he's still cool, and he's caring and easy to talk to. Well he sounds like a great guy from what youve said! I dont know what else to tell you, but if you like him THIS much then I wouldnt give up! Just be careful because guys can be extremely blunt and it can hurt... I hope EVERYTHING works out tho!!!!! If you ever need anything, I'm still here!!

Ok I've liked this guy Steve for two years.. I think about him nonstop, I swear I haven't gone a day without thinking about him, and when I'm not around him, I find myself anxious and thinking about when I will see him next. Steve used to like me, and I thought he still did like me, but now I'm not so sure cuz now I see him flirting with all these other girls and it makes me soo jealous. I feel like I can't be happy with anyone but him. I've been asked out by other guys, but I said no because I only like Steve. hun i know EXACTLY how you feel!! It's kinda scary how much i can relate to you! OK well I just read this article in the March issue of Cosmo Girl and it talked about guys and how they think (the author of "he's just not that into you" who was also on Oprah) and a lot of it made sense. Greg (the author) was saying that if he doesnt like you anymore, or hasnt asked you out yet then he is probably not feeling you like you feel for him. And plus: if he's flirting with a bunch of other girls then he probably isnt looking for a relationship right now. I know what your thinking though: you dont wanna hear this!! Well i dont like the guy I used to like that is like Steve. I realized that the perfect image I had in my mind of him was not who he really was. He wasnt the guy looking only for a realationship with me, and he wasnt the guy who would put everything aside to be with only me. He liked girls and its obvious (whether or not you admit it) that he's just not that into you or looking for a relationship if he hasnt already taken action. See.. I didnt know this and I spent 4 years head-over-heals for this boy that i liked. He also used to like me but he wouldnt make anything official. I didnt understand then, but now I do. He was looking for a FLING. No commitment and he could flirt with whoever, whenever. I spent so many nights crying because of the fact that I cant make him "my guy". Now I realize that all the pain was NOT in anyway good for me. And if he really was the guy I (You) was supposed to be with, he wouldnt hurt me (you) that bad and he wouldnt be so oblivious to my feelings. Think about what you really want in a boyfriend (Sweet to you, respectful of you, caring to you, genuine to you, commited to you, good looking?, etc) and realize that if he hasnt fulfilled all of those in such a long period of time, you have a bunch of other guys to focus on; ones that wont make you jealous, and that REALLY and TRUELY care for you as more than a fling. My dad and I dont connect very much either... and he's gone A LOT! But even though thats true, I dont know what I'd do without him! I love him with all my heart and I'm sure you feel the same about your dad. To get closer you should try to see what he's into. Even if you dont like the sound of what he says, TRY IT! You may end up liking it! And once he sees that you are putting in the effort to get closer even though its not what you usually like... he'll realize it! And probably he'll do stuff YOU like later! I know exactly how you feel! You can reaaallllyyyy get to know a lot about a guy online! I think its bcuz its not as awkward as in person when you first meet someone... and he isnt as shy with his guy friends around, ya know? But MAKE SURE you dont rush anything online and dont talk in person! Things can get reallllyyyy awkward if you arent comfortable in person! Its great that you might have a chance with him!!! Try not to have high expectations though, because when you do you could winde up getting hurt... and no one wants that!
