xOtWiXi answered Monday April 11 2005, 4:14 pm: Disposable razors need to be disposed when the razor is dull, as you've guessed. The razor is dull when its hard to shave the hair underneath your arms or your legs, or you have to constantly keep going over a spot to shave it completely and evenly. A disposable razor usually goes dull in a few uses, but it depends on how much hair is on your body, how thick it is, how hard you press on the razor, etc et, so I'd say three or four times, at the most. If you are on vacation, I'd reccomend bringing a disposable razor, and if it seems like its getting dull, check the gift shop out- they usually charge a dollar for one! If you have any more questions, just message me! Hope I've Helped! ♥ [ xOtWiXi's advice column | Ask xOtWiXi A Question ]

FunnyCide answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:23 pm: Your best bet is to use a "real" razor and change the blade every two weeks (or there abouts) and that's how often you should throw away and get a new disposable razor - every two weeks. If you're using your razor every day to shave alot of skin (say, from your ankles to mid-thigh) then you'd probably have to get a new disposable razor every week and a half.
A good way to see if the disposable razor is dull... well, when it's not shaving the hair off anymore! That's the only way... you'll notice places on your legs (example) that are "hairer" and coarser. This is from the razor cutting closer to your skin in some places than in others.
I still say that a "normal" razor is better.. but that's my opinion.

blueyedgrl412 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 9:31 pm: usually you have to throw out your razor when you have to press down to make it work good. so when you get to the point where you have to put alot of pressure on you razor throw it out and get a new one. xXxpinky615xXx answered Sunday April 10 2005, 9:28 pm: It's really "unhealthy" to use it more than 6 times. But no one ever pays attention to that. My suggestion is to keep an eye on the blade and once you see like hair begining to build up on it or even rust and it won't come off, throw it away. I throw mine away every 3 weeks. But I don't shave every single day. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
LoveNJstyle answered Sunday April 10 2005, 9:27 pm: you can tell when its really dull and you have to go over the same spot a million times to get a close shave. you can tell when it doesnt remove hair as well as before. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
EJ47 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 9:26 pm: I'd throw a disposeable razor out after maybe 1-2 weeks of use. If we're talking leg shaving here, after one week.
