I am 17 years old and I have a child who is going to be 2 in January. Well I have had unprotected sex with no sign of pregnancy neg. tests and everything. Well I have been dating my boyfriend/ fiance for a while now and we have unprotected sex often and if I am pregnant I dont mind but tests are always neg. I havent taken one in a while but I was always tired and smelled onions for a while and that is starting to go away. Now I feel like i am going to throw up but i don't and i have to go to the restroom ALL the time. I dropped my boyfriend off at 8;45 ish and had to go to the bathroom but didnt get to until like 9:20 then one more time by 10. then 4 times from 10-12. and its like i have to go so bad i can hardly hold it. Is it signs of pregnancy? and my nose is bleeding now and I havent had a nose bleed in a while!! PLEASE HELP (link)

If you miss your period, take a test.
Other than that none of the other
things you are experiencing are signs
of pregnancy.
Nausea maybe, but not usually
before a missed period. Frequent urination
is usually something you get late in
pregnancy when the baby is pressing on your
bladder. It is not an early sign of pregnancy.

20 plus years, I believe my answer to be
more correct than any rumors you may have
heard in the halls of your local high

You should be aware that prank calls are illegal.

In the United States you have to see a doctor,
or planned parenthood, before you can get a
prescription for birth control pills.
You have to get a pelvic exam before and
yearly afterward to get it renewed.
You do not need to see an gynecologist,
they are usually more expensive. Your
family physician will do fine, if they
do pelvic exams.
Once you get your prescription, you can
take it to any pharmacy to get it filled.
No parent necessary.

My boyfriend's penis size is around a 6.5, we use regular trojans.. I guess an average size, but they haven't been the best. Last time we had sex, he went to take it off and he had a dark ring around the bottom of his shaft.

Okay, so I had sex a little over a week ago, 2 times.
I havent had my period yet, but it shouldnt come until the seventh.
Im having backaches, cramps, headaches, I'm dizzy, and I feel like Im going to throw up. I am craving foods a lot but don't eat that much of it. I've been tired a lot too, and have been taking naps. This could be a cold or the flu. I stayed home sick today.
Could this all mean I'm pregnant?

If you used protection, you are probably
NOT pregnant. You wouldn't be having
symptoms after only 2 weeks. Your missed
period would be the first symptom. Then
maybe nausea 30 days after that.
Backaches, cravings, cramps, dizziness
and headaches are NOT symptoms of pregnancy.
Backaches may happen late in pregnancy
but they are not a sign you are pregnant.

ok so i'm planning to have sex on wednesday (3 days from now) but im way late on getting my birth control shot (depo-provera) and i plan to get my shot either tomorrow or on tuesday. I've heard that it's effective within 24 hours but does anyone know the details on that?... like does it matter when your period is or if its 23 hours instead of 24
Basically what im asking is if its ok for me to get the shot on tuesday after school and then have sex wednesday after school (but wednesday is a half day so it wouldnt be quite 24 hours) also im spotting right now if that makes a difference.

The first sign of pregnancy is a missed
period. Nausea usually doesn't become
a problem until after that.
Like the adviser before me I think it
could be stress causing it. You were smart
and used a condom so you should be fine. :)

ok so i am doing an internship with this gallery curator... i am not paid or anything but i need it to graduate. I am freaking out because i am not sure if i meet the standard of professionalism that the manager requires. I have to fill in 180 hours... i am supposed to do stuff that include website design and supervision of projects (like if they gallery has something on video i have to deal with the finalcut technician guy and tell him how the gallery wants it) what if my way of doing things or my style doesn't meet hers? what if she doesn't like my work! i don't want to end up not passing this or worse be shunned upon or something! she has major contacts and i feel i don't have the least bit experience!!! help (link)

Talk to her! Its as easy as that. As an intern
you are there "working" to learn the ropes.
Take advantage of this managers knowledge and
just ask.
Ask her if she feels you are doing a good
job. Ask her if she thinks there is anything
you could be doing better and how. Use the
experience to your advantage. :)

okay so this might end up being long so yeah. but my boyfriend and I have been going out for a few months now and I just kind of see myself picking out his flaws all the time, he tells me how his ex girlfriends broke his heart and how he got depressed blah blah blah. You need to sit down and have a little
talk with him. Make sure he is over this
ex girlfriend. If he says that he is, you
need to let him know that you aren't her
and you don't want to hear about her all
the time.
He may not even realize he is doing it.
He may be doing it because he
is afraid of being hurt again. But the
truth of it is, dating anyone is a taking
a risk of being hurt. You can't guarantee
him it won't happen to him again with you.
Drifting away from friends while dating
is normal. Just make special time for
them and talk about something other
than your boyfriend or you may drive
them nuts! :)

You know, it isn't like you'd be taking

told her you liked him before she started.
I know it appears he likes her, but that
could just be him enjoying talking to her.
If you got brave enough to join in the
conversation, or start one of your own,
he would get to know you better.
In this case, she knew you liked him.
So if her feelings get hurt over time

Im 17 and I know that every teenager has their ups and downs, but I'm getting desperate. My life isnt too shocking yet it's not so great either - My familiesbeen broken recently, and I'm in a mentally abusive (Note: Not physical) relationship But I wont go into too much detail. Either way - for a long time now I've been feeling like i'm bouncing off walls - I feel depressed most of the time and I've gotten into bad and strange habits - I walk for hours at night with just a vest on so I can stop thinking - I know this isnt natural, and even though things could be alot worse (I don't pretend to be amazingly bad off or anything) I feel as if i cant be happy anymore - Ill be hyper but not happy, and when I'm depressed - its BAD, but, I wont go into details. - What should I Do? You may still be depressed for a while,
but you need to get rid of the emotional
abuser. Mental abuse is just as bad as
physical abuse, it just doesn't leave
bruises that others can see.

whenever me and my boyfriend have sex we always use a condom, but when he pulls out the condom stays in me and then he takes it out after he's out. Is there any chance sperm can get in me this way? Yes there is a chance you can get pregnant
if it slips off. As the user before me said
he may need to try a different size.
This is a very delicate issue with guys,
it shouldn't be but it is. So maybe just
suggest a different brand of condom. That
may make a difference.

He is right. You won't get over him completely
until you move on. That means dating other guys.
Doesn't have to be this one in particular, but
its the best way.
I really think the best thing for you both
would be to date others. I don't know if
discussing it with each other is the way to
go. I think if anything you mention it in
passing that you have a date and leave it
at that.
You say he doesn't have a girlfriend, and that
may be true. He may also be seeing someone and
just not telling you.
So for now try dating other guys. The time
just isn't right for you and the ex right
now. You never know what the future holds,
but in the meantime date others and try to
get over him.

I would say if you really don't like the
guy then put an end to it. Just staying
with someone because of a picture, or
because you've only dated a month is not
a good reason to stay together.
If he really likes her, its a little bit
cruel to lead him on thinking he has
a chance. Break up and save the guy
the pain getting more attached will
bring him.

Okay, me and my boyfriend have been dating for about a month and a half. He hasn't ever been over to my house before, i have been to his once. Well at first i was really nervous about him coming over and when i finally get the courage to ask him over, my mom tells me that when he comes over, i have to leave the door to my room open. This sucks. I'm not a whore at all and would not even think about doing "anything." My mom knows this too. She just wants to be sure. Anyways, i was planning on watching a movie in my room but i cant do that now because i have an two brothers, my step dad and my mom and if i leave the door open, you can see in my room from the kitchen (where everyone usually is) or the living room. If all you are doing is watching a movie
then having the door open won't be a
problem. Nobody is going to stand there
and get bored watching you watch a movie.
Trust me. They just want that feeling
of knowing that you know they CAN see you
should they glance that way.
Temptation would be great to get up to

I have to giggle at Gilbert as I think fingernails
is just one word. But, a good piece of advice.
Fingernails should be cut and free of rough
things. They should also be clean.
Being rough in general is not a good idea.
It can be painful and cause bruises and
pain for hours if not days after. So easy
does it.
