Okay, so my best friend "Christina" and I both have pasts that deal with suicidal type things. She was in a mental hospital earlier in the year, and when she came out she promised to stop cutting or try to call me whenever she felt like that, and I promised the same to her. About a week ago, my grandmother died, and the other day I got a call from her, saying she was going back into the hospital. I asked her why she didn't tell me and she said she wanted to give me time to "mourn." I feel like she doesn't trust me as much as she says she does, and I don't know what to say to her, because I'm hurt that she wouldn't talk to me and I'm scared that she's gonna hurt herself too badly someday, and I don't know what to do to help her anymore. Any advice on what I should say when I talk to her next? (Sorry this is so long) (link)

ok.. i have had a sitiation like this before with one of my very best friends... what i did had her come over to my house an talked to her about it .. i sayed look if your afraid that im going to get mad ..an stuff that you cut .i told her she was wrong because she was my best friend ... i was there to make her feel better not worse an not to trust me .. i told her im her to help you with every problem .. tell her what you feel you should tel her ...

I just got my first kiss. It was sort of a game, if the guy made a shot in basketball he got to kiss me and my friend, and he made it. I kind of like him, and I want to hook up with him, maybe even go out with him. The problem is, my friend wanted to hook up with him and she was all over him. Shes kind of a hoe, and if we ever meet new guys, she tries hooking up with all of them. I dont think she hooked up with him yet, but I think he might be liking her more than me. I dont want to attack him, so what are some moves I can make to get his attention more? How do I get to him before my friend does? Should I just straight out start making out with him? (link)

i go to a school where sports mean alot..i have tried a bunch of differnet sports..but none of them work for me..i am tring to stay in shape..but i havent as much since i quit my last sport..i really want to try out for a sport this year..any ideas of which one i should pick..i'm not to good at sports ..but i'm detirmned to do this! I say SOCCER, it is the best fitness sport ever, you run like crazy and you chase a ball! How much more fun can a sport get, lol. As long as you keep practicing you will get good at it, and believe me, I played my first year ever for Freshmen Team and I never played before in my life, well I have to admit though Im pretty good now 8)

ok i love this girl sooooo much i think im crazy. We are going to a movie 2 weeks from now with friends. Aww thats cute, a guy to be this nervous, lol its usually the girls, but I think that it would be okay for you to hold her hand, and please don't try any of those stretch-to-put-your-hand-around-her thing thats so pathetic, but you shouldnt worry, just show her that you like her, and she will be happy and she probably likes you too otherwise she would have never wanted to go with you in the first place :)

Ok, I don't know, how much you like him, but I say go up to him, before a game or something, and be like, GOOD LUCK, and have him notice you and once you start up a conversation, you can be like, we should hang out sometime, I say make the move, I don't like to wait, and hope that he will eventually say something, be the crazy girl, that u probably are, and do something risky, whats the worst that can happen??

Listen to your heart, don't just go out with Mr. Shy because you feel bad, and don't just go out with the other guy because other people said you should, Go out with the one who you like more. But first find out if the other guy likes you as much as you like him, and talk to your b.f and tell him how you really feel! :)

Shaving is a BITCH! yes, yes it is. My question is:
Has anyone tried those bladeless shaving kits? do they really work? Does it last longer than shaving? does it remove ingrown hairs too, or should i just go for the wax?
yeah i know, kinda stupid, but im sick of shaving and at least dont want to walk around band camp with a bunch of nix and cuts.

i use the bladeless shaving kits, you generally have to keep the cream on for a few minutes more than what it says on the box but it does work!! i have always used it. the only problem i ever had was when i shaved my legs a few days before i did the bladeless one. this made my legs go very itchy and red roar. so dont shave before you do it, but other than that i would recommend them.

Buy a cute white skirt that goes maybe a little bit lower than your knees and look in abercrombie for a cute lace tanktop that way you wont get to hot!

I love sunglasses, i got some from target for about 5 dollars, some from marshall fields for about 25, some from Carsons for about 70 dollars and just department stores like that!

I have sidesweeping bangs and i part my hair on the side they are cut right to about the top of my eye and they look very cute and original. Make sure to towel dry your hair and just blow dry the bangs or else they may dry in a bad way like not how you want them!

Try curl up, they have gel and spray. Its orange and comes in a curvy bottles they sell it at walgreens for 10 bucks a bottles. Well worth it!

i think you should tell your friend. if she likes him she might be mad for a while but she will come out of it and be your friend again. and later on she will thank you for telling her and if she finds out on her ow3n and you dont tell her that would probably get her more upset. i hope i was helpful to you.

Heyy, I wanted to ask you a question b/c you have good ratings, and you're a guy.
Let me tell you the reason I'm having a problem first: I go to a mostly girls school and so I never really had the chance to converse with guys, and I don't really know how to talk to them. And I am 17 years old if that helps :)
1) Is it weird for a girl to just randomly walk up to a guy in public and just start a random conversation??
2) How come if a guy sees a "hot girl" he'll just go straight up to her and talk to her, but if he sees a nice girl who's a little overweight he won't talk to her?

well to answer question 1 i'll say that it's not weird. it's just how people make friends. i mean when you were a kid and knew nobody how did you go about meeting people? you went up to them and talked to them didn't you? that's what's you're supposed to do, go up to a random person and talk to them. otherwise you'll never meet people.
and for number 2: as a guy i can say that when i see a "hot girl" i usually don't go anywhere near them because 90% of the time they're bitches and just want a guy around so they can get free crap and a false sense of "love" from a guy who only likes her because she's "hot" i honestly look for girls who are a bit quieter, or a bit overweight, or something else. because those girls are the ones who will provide an actual quality relationship and probably a lot more as they are the ones who usually aren't sluts, or bitches, or gold diggers. but are nice, kind, and loving. really it's all based on the maturity of the guy moreso than anything else. and most guys at age 17 are dumbasses..then again i'm 19 and i'm a dumbass so go figure.
and don't worry, i'm not a very attractive guy either, i'm a bit overweight and hairy haha. i didn't have my first girlfriend til i was about 18. so i know where you're coming from, and if ya wanna talk hit me up on AIM or something. i'll help ya out.
