okay i got my period for the first time this week(on wed night) and today (thursday) is my first full day w/it and i got tampons. i want to go swimming tomorrow and i have the slim fit tampons. i know i'll be fine but on saturday my family and a few friends are going to an amusement park and i want to ride the water rides. can i do this while wearing a tampon? like the ones where you get on a tube and ride down a tunnel? i'll rate high!!! yes, as long if it fits and everything right. You have to remember to bring a few though, so you have to change, id suggest that you would change one befor you leave for the water park, then WHEN you go on the rides, like keep a litle stop watch with you..

yup, im "lean" for my age also. what im doing, is eating alot of food, i cant stop eatingg, but i dont gain weight, barely. Stay near the junk food and life weights, yes it makes you look thinner, but you are gaining mucle (sp) and muscle weighs more then fat.. right i am. try to be lazy, and like not active once and a while, and if you skip meals, you acually are gaining weight, idk howw but my doctor said that and its really unknown why. Try eating
breakfast* like a king- you need alot of energy in the morning so that is why.
snack* fruit snacks or cape cod chips : p
lunch* like a queen- not as much as breakfast, but enough to get you through dinner,
snack* same thing anything artificial.
dinner* like a jocker. You don't need energy to sleep. Right i am.
befor bed snack. but not a big one just sometihng with alot of carbs.. like a banana

I'm 16 and I first got my period when I was 9. Well, I know its normal for the first couple of years for it not to be regular but I've had mine for 7 years and its still not regular.
For some time I've been wanting to go on birth control to level out my hormones and make my period more regular.
I don't want to be on it for a long time becasue I'm not really sexually active and I know that being on it for a long time can be bad for you.
So my question is can I be on it for just a little while to regulate my period/hormones then get off and have everything stay regular? (link)

you are normally put on birth control pills for about 5 years or until its regular...there is always the new patch thing and the ring which i dont know much about but you can ask your doctor about it

My boyfriend and I have been having sex since late June. okay, im not sure if this belongs under illnesses, but... my friend has cancer, he is 22. well actually hes more of my boyfriends friend. well today he called me, and he told me that he just got out of the hospital, and he had a mini- stroke... well first off... whats a mini- stroke? isnt a stroke... a stroke????
well, he asked me to do a favor for him since he can barely talk (( his one side is completely numb )) but, the favor was to tell my bf about it... ok, so i can do that... but im just afraid of how my bf will react... i mean this is my bf's hero... and i dont know... i honestly dont think this guy has much time left... and i dont wanna tell my bf that, cus thats just rude, and im sure no one wants to hear that.
how do i tell my bf about all this, and what do when he reacts... what do i say to him? i know he'll start crying... and plus... when our friend does "go" how do i handle that... i have to cope with it myself, and try to help my bf with it. and when im under that much stress, and when someone i know passes away, i dont get upset, i get mad... and i dont show my feelings because i try and help everyone else first... and myself last. but i will eventually let it all out, and its 10xs worse... im just confused... im not sure why i do this, and if i do... everyone will be worried about me... and i dont want that to happen either.

haha you have to defrost it first! defrost it in a defroster or just the refriderator... all you do is put it on the grill and fire it up! or in the oven you have to up it on a tray and like marenate it or what ever, cook untill its not red (cut it to look)
