My ex-boyfriend and i have officially been a 'couple' for four months, although people considered us 'together' for about eight months. Two weeks ago, I had called him to say good morning and he told me he thought we should "take a break". I knew we were having problems, but I thought that we were stronger than that, and it was just so sudden. I was extremely hurt, it was completely unexpected.. only a week before his exact words to me were "if somehow this doesnt work out..im never leaving, ill wait for you to come back. i cant see myself without you. i know that sounds very pathetic and stuff, but i know im never going to be happy without you." How could someone who shared something so special change their mind so fast? My friends told me he'd regret it and come back, that he was just confused since his parents had been having problems. One week after the break up, and after not hearing from him... he called. Told me he had been in rehab (I later learned it was for drug related issues.) I found out that he had been doing serious drugs for a while and had not told me about any of it (he knows I am fully against anything of the sort). He said he was sorry, and that I was the best thing that had ever happened to him, and that it was just a bad decision. He said he wanted to talk to me, and I wanted to see him too. Since that day he called me, we've talked online but only very short conversations. I know he's been drinking with friends (hes 17), and making everything a lot worse for himself. I was/am truly the only friend he has that really genuinly cares about his well-being. I am the only one he can talk to that will listen, and he knows this, and has even told me this himself. But the past few days, he's been acting ... completely different. Saying insulting things, and being completely rude. I know he still has feelings for me, and I know he knows he needs me again... and I still want him too. I have never felt so hurt in my entire life, and I've been through a lot. He won't talk or see me, and i think its because hes scared... I dont know what to say or do anymore. I know i should probably get over everything, and try to move on... but I just do not know what to do. Sorry this is so long, but Im desperate for help.. I've lost a lot in the past couple months, and I need him.

Wow.. First of all I'm sorry hun.
It always hurts when you lose someone you are very close to especially when it is to dugs or alcohol.
The number one thing you nust keep in mind is that he cannot be helped unless he really wants it. I know this really sucks and all you want to do is help, but its the way it is.
If he has always been really good with you fo the most part and now that he is using more and more i would assume that those hurtful words and actions are coming straight from the addict, not the loving person inside.
My best advice would be to try your hardest to move on and be sure to let him know that you love and care for him and that you will be there for him when he wants the help.
then, just move on and wait for him to take the help. And once he does, you jump to his side and be there to support him in his recovery.

Study and ask others for help with whatever it is you are having trouble with. Also, ask your teachers if there is anything you can do (extra credit) to help pull your grade up. Again, STUDY STUDY STUDY and get your work done. If this all fails and your report card is still bad, your father will most likely be mad but if he had paid any attention he may notice that you have been trying really hard to get your grades back up. Then, next quarter/semester you should really do your best to keep your grades up.
As for your depression, im unsure of the cause, but it could jsut be from you seeing that you are failing and you feeling overwhelmed with it all. If this is the case, you should stop looking at it negativly and start looking at how you can try your hardest to fix it all.
If your depression is beyonfd these reasons, perhaps going to a doctor and joining support groups/therapy will help. there are a lot of supprt groups on the internet these days and I am sure that you could find one that helps you.

my bf gave me a hickey on tuesday and it hasnt lightened at all or anything..i mean its VERY noticable. its like very dark. i can wear my hair down the rest of the weekend and to school on monday. but for cheerleading i have to wear my hair up so idk how im going to do that without my whole squad seeing it cuz trust me they will. can anyone help mee!?

Hmmm... hickeys are always tough. I would go with lotion (perferaby with cocoa butter and/or vitamin E in it) Let it dry and then use make up to try to cover it as best you can.
If this all fails and the other cheerleaders notice and make comments about it just act cool about it and dont get all embarassed over it. Hickeys happen to everyone!
Future advice: Once you notice it, grab a couple spoons and put them in the freezer for about 30 minutes to an hour. Get one and hold it on it for about 5 to 10 minutes. Return it to the freezer and grab the second one. repeat this process over and over and it should eventually get lighter and lighter.

I am unsure of your first question but i can answer the second part.
Pros:
It can strengthen your relationship.
It feels good.
It can create a better understanding of yourself and your partner.
Cons:
Pregnancy.
STDS.
It can hurt.
It can weaken your relationship.
If it is a mistake or done with the wrong person, you cannot take it back.
Rumours could be made up about you.
Endangering others if you are unaware of a STD you have.
If you do it once with your current partner and do not like it, you end up creating a false perception in them that since you did it once you want to do it again and again.
There are more cons and aybe more pros to it but I think you get the idea.
My adive is to wait until you are completely sure you are ready for it, regardless of the outcome. You have to metally, emotionally and physiclly ready for it to happen and for everything after.

So I've never really had to buy my girlfriend anything because my mom always took care of all of that. But last year, my gf found out that I don't personally buy her presents and she got all upset. Now, she wants me to go out and buy her her present this year by myself. My mom refuses to help me now. I've really never done this before and you don't have to believe me but it's true. Anyways, this is what I have so far:
100$ Abercrombie card (her fav. store)
50$ Hollister or Forever 21 card (her second fav.--I'm not sure which yet though)
And these earrings her sister helped me pick out. They're pink sapphires with pearl on top they're pretty nice.
But I can see my gf's face when she sees these..."oh gift cards...thanks babe..." She might like the earrings more though...I don't know. I'm already spending 250$ on all of that--I'll put in maybe like 75 more. Does anyone have any ideas? (link)

gift cards? what are you her uncle? a girl doesn't want something that you didn't have to put thought into evwen if it is for something she likes. she wants something you went out and hunted down and knew it was meaningful and important to her. hell my girl once was about to cry she was so happy because i bought her, her favorite cheeto's (the flaming hot ones) when she was in an area where they didn't have them. it's not hard to get the right gift, what's hard is paying attention and knowing what that gift is.

Well. Just say it straight forward. "your to mean to me to be friends with". but tell her why. If shes a true friend shell understand. I had the same thing happen to me. Or just ask her when sh says something mean "why are you being mean". She should say sry or feel sry about what she hass done. I hope I helped! ask me more questions!

just because the other girls are lighter than you are doesnt mean anything. you should try your hardest to become comfortable with yourself and with the way you look, but if your really worried about it, make sure that you eat a balanced diet with 5 fruit or veg a day and do 30mins exercise to tone up any fat that you may have. dont feel pressured by other people everyone is different 'it makes u unique!' hope this helped, if you have anything else you want to ask dont be afraid to drop it in my inbox. xxxluceexxx

I've been sick with the Flu and an ear infection for the past 5 days. I'm feeling much better today and I hope to be back on my normal schedual by tomorow. I love to work out, It makes me feel good and energized. However, when I was sick I didn't work out. I want to go back to my normal workout routine but I was wondering how long I should wait? Since I've been so sick should I wait like another week, a few days ? I'd love some help :) (link)

I think you should start when you feel normal. If you don't feel good during the workout, wait a little bit longer. Keep that up until you feel better than ever! Hope you feel better!

well if it is a movie that they are into (ex* Dreamer- girl_horse_sad_funny) I love horses, so i wanted to see that right away. Some people see movies because of the actors/actresses in them. Some people got to see movies for the moral of them (ex* The Passion_Jesus_cross_sad_Jesus died for us)

It's a fairly simple question (I think) but I need some help! You could say I'm a pretty preppy girl... not like (omg I'm really flippin annoying and too perky and I'm stuck-up!) not that kind of preppy. But, I wear polos, jeans, cute shirts from like... american eagle, aeropostale, abercrombie and fitch etc., sweatpants all that stuff that's so called, "preppy". I also like chucks... converse, whatever you would like to call them! But... some people say that converse don't really go with the whole preppy look.
What do you think? Would it be okay if I got them?

i think converse are really cool and look good with almost anthing. if you think you and your \'preppy\' outfit look good in them, i say go for it! go for one day of experimenting. ask the people at school what they think. if too many ppl say \'eww\' - im not sayin they will - and you dont feel good that way, don\'t wear them anywhere. hope it helps
