Why is it that it only takes a tender theme (a girl and her horse, etc.), some introverted "intelligent" young characters, and a couple of sweet lines to get people to see a movie and get approval from critics? I think of "Bee Season" and "Dreamer." They are all just dumb cliches.

MELiixMARiiE answered Thursday November 24 2005, 1:59 pm: Because whenever it comes to people and movies, that's just the way it works. People love to see romantical movies and comedy movies because they give people alot of emotions. They make us cry make us laugh make us just feel better. Liek whenever people are having a bad day, they pop in their favorite movie, have a few chuckles and are cheered up. It just makes people good and that's why people are so addicted to movies. Because things that happen in movies tend to never happen in real life and people watch them over and over again wishing their lives were like that. And of course you need intelligent characters.. you don't want dumb ones, do you? It'll make the movie more stupid then it already is. It's just the way people are, and that's why the actors get so effin' rich.

Some people see movies because of the actors/actresses in them. Some people got to see movies for the moral of them (ex* The Passion_Jesus_cross_sad_Jesus died for us) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
