if you really like her a lot, then you shouldn't care about what other people think.
maybe she's just shy because she doesn't know you that well. keep talking to her a lot and keep the conversation going, and once she get's to know you better she probably won't be shy around you.
there's sorta no point in asking her out NOW if she wont even talk to you because she's too shy, so just wait a while and keep talking to her, and after she gets used to you and starts talking to you more, THEN ask her out.
its the same thing with me. i talk A LOT in front of my friends and people i know and everything, but i don't really talk a lot infront of other people.
just be really nice to her and talk to her a lot and hopefully she'll talk to you back.

I think you are being really smart to ask for suggestions. THAT in itself really shows what a great bf you are!
You didn't mention anything about budget so I'm going to assume that you are wanting to be conservative.
When I was that age, my bf was on a limited budget and still managed to give me one of THE most memorable gifts ever!
He gave me a gift basket full of really sentimental things like a brochure from the restaurant of our first date, an old movie stubb from our first movie (I couldn't believe he still had it!), a stuffed animal (it was a lion that had a sentimental meaning to it) my favorite candy (chocolate covered cherries), and my very favorite thing was a coupon book that he made himself. I don't remember everything in it but it had things like "good for one shoulder massage" "you get to pick the next movie (no complaints even if it's a chick flick), "I'll wash your car"...etc.
If you tell me a budget, I'll give you some other options. You're a really sweet bf and I'm sure your gf will be really happy with whatever you do for her.

I have a question about my friend. Well I guess you could say she is one of my best friends.
Well we had made plans tonight to rent and movie and then watch it at her appartment. She told me to arrive by 8 o clock. Well she phoned me at 5 and I wasnt dressed or anything yet. She asked me if I could do her a favour. I said "sure" before I knew what I was in for. Well it turned out she had put an add in the paper to sell two of her cats (she has 5). She told me that the girl buying the cats needed a ride home and could I do it because she (my friend) doesnt have a car. I was a little annoyed because I wasnt ready and she needed me there right away. Well being the loyal friend I was I showed up and one of the cats had escaped from its carrier, and then my friend made me chase around the house for the cat instead of her doing it! We finally caught her and then I had to load up my car with both the cats and their toys. Now heres the kicker: After I loaded up my car with all the cats and toys, I said to my friend "your'e coming with me right"? After all I didnt want to drive a complete stranger somewhere in my car all by myself, I would want my friend to come with me. Also, we still needed to rent the movie. Then she says "no, I'm not coming! So I had to drive this person to her house (who was extremely rude to me by the way). Then I had to rent the movie by myself!! When I finally got back to my friends by around 6 and all she could talk about was how sad she was that she had to give up her cats!!! She finally noticed that I looked upset and asked me what was wrong. I told her the girl I had to drive home was rude (but didnt mention I was more angry at her).
My question is, I am overeacting, or was that a really shitty thing that my "friend" did to me? (link)

I've been going out with my boyfriend for almost 8 months. Relationship needs work...he didn't/doesn't trust me. I haven't cheated on him though.... I'm pretty happy with him...but I think I'm starting to like one of my old crushes. I liked her before but I thought she was straight, so I just forgot about her and moved on...went out with my best friend.... We went to different high schools...and I found out that she likes me...for months she has... I hung out with her and I'm starting to get these feelings for her. She makes me happy too. You should first figure out why your boyfriend doesnt trust you. Just ask him and point out that you have never done anything to make him not trust you. Maybe he has an ex that cheated on him and now its hard to trust others?
I dont think that feelings and attraction to another person even if you are in a relationship is wrong. Its a human instinct to be attracted to others. Of course dont point this out to yur current boyfriend because, even though he knows its natural, he wont take it well.
I dont know if your considering making a move on this other girl but if you are my advice would be to maybe hang around her and talk to her on the phone and see how serious you feel about her. Would it be worth losing what you have? I wouldnt make a move at all with her behind your boyfriends back. that just creates reasons why he shouldnt trust you.
If you consider it adn you really think you will be happier with her, talk to him and tell him the truth. Its the only right thing to do.

I have a question concerning a male friend of mine. Well he just had his birthday and me and my two best friends decided to sing a song about him infront of all his friends. He was really touched by the whole thing, and after the song ended he went up to us and gave my two girlfriends a hug, but then when he looked at me he wouldnt give me a hug and he looked really uncomfortable. Well I knew everyone was staring so I gave HIM a hug, otherwise people would have thought something was wrong.
I can't figure out why he had no problem hugging my other friends but wouldnt give me a hug. Then it occured to me that maybe he had feelings for me? Does anyone else have any ideas? (link)

Communication and honesty are number one in a relationship. I think before you even think about approaching him with having sex you should be honest about not being a virgin. I know that it is a painful subject and you have no desire to drag up any old memories, but its something that he needs to know. If you guys have been together for that long he should understand and be really caring about it.
Has he told you he loves you? Have you guys even talked about sex? Does he want to wait for marriage?
If you havent discussed these things you should also do this.
I think the best way to approach him about having sex is to talk to him about it. tell him that you love him a lot and you want to be able to express your love to him in othr ways. Make him feel comfortable about the idea. Ask him if he is ready to take that next step. Dont pressure him.

tomorrow i am trying out for my favorite sport TRACK & FIELD!
i am in 7th grade so i have to try out for J.V.
for the try outs i have to run 6 laps around the track under 12 minutes [plus some other things but thats the hardest]. this is going to kill me! im not good at distance running. i do sprints. what if i dont make it? i live for track! is there any way i can get faster? i trying out with one of my best friends. we are the only ones trying out tomorrow becasue everyone else already did. i'm so nervous.
what can i do today till tomorrow at 3:30 to make me do better?
what are some tips for when im running?

Well try running for 12 minutes! see how you feel at the end of that and then try running for 16 minutes. this will help you build up your runnung strength! then if the running track is close enought to your house, see if you and a friend can go over there and have her time you while you run for 12-20min. see how many times you got around the track! keep working until you can get 6 times around the track in 12 min. explain to you 'coach' that you are a sprinter- after you run the 6 laps!
Tips
Dont take big breaths- this freezes your throat kinda
Pace yourself-start out slower then get faster towards the end of the 12-20min if you can!
If you start feeling sick, stop! your not gonna get better by making yourself barf!
Just have fun!- if you dont think about the running while your running, you'll prob. do better

A lot of guys are shy about taking the first steps because, yes, they are scared that you wont like it or they will attempt to do something that you wont like and you will hold it against them or something.
the big thing here is communication. Tell him you want him to take charge sometimes. Discuss each others boundries and exactly how far you are willing to go right now in your relationship. And continue to discuss it as your relationship grows.
If you feel uncomfortable doing something tell him. Encourage him to do the same. If you guys have this talk i can almost guarentee that he will take charge at times because he will already be informed on what not to do and what you will like.

Thats definenly good. I actually did almost the same thing for my bf on our one year anni. Actually mine was a book. I wrote 100 things i love about him, diff. ways to say i love you, "our" songs or songs that reminded me of him, and just cute lil things that were kinda our things. Lil idea for the future. My dog Uranus poops on the floor and I've tried everything to get him to stop. He won't pee on the floor, just poop. I even got one of those cages and made him sit with his poop for a few hours. If Uranus doesn't stop pooping in the house my parents will make me get rid of him! I don't want my parents to send him away because I know he'll get put to sleep.
