Theres this girl i've liked for about 2 years now. i'm 13 and she's turning 15 in march. i really like her and i think she likes me but i don't know what to do. i keep asking her if she would ever like me but she keeps saying i don't know. what should i do? thanks.

you might want to give her some room. there is nothing wrong with being friends with her for now. just be honest & tell her how you feel. if she doesn't know how she feels/isn't ready yet, then say that's okay & lay off it for a bit. if she wants to be with you, she'll tell you. you can't do anything other than that. if you stick around as a friend, there's always some chance she'll change her mind. look on the bright side, at least she didn't say no. "i dont know" still gives you some chance. good luck!

ok to get to the point i am a cutter and i don't cut because i am depressed i cut because it gives me a nice rush i think i might be bipolar because i looked it up on wikipedia and it said that people who are bipolar do that and ilike the feeling of getting body piercings so can someone please tell me if i am.

read that & see if any of that relates to how you feel. if it does, i would suggest going to the doctor. cutting is a major issue & should not be used as an effective way to relieve stress or depression. it does not solve any of your problems even if you feel good for a moment or two. just read up on the articles [you can also google more] & you should see a therapist to deal with any of those things.

hey, i wanna get a sidekick. but i dont want the phoen service. do i have to have a phone line with t-mobile in order to have a sidekick?

most likely you need a phone line with t-mobile to get the sidekick. i have heard of people using the sidekick with cingular. if you have verizon, you can't do that, but they have an alternative. it's not the sidekick, but it is called the enV. i have it, its really neat. just talk to your phone service & t-mobile to see what you can do. most phone services have a phone similar to the sidekick though.

Is 10th-11th grade too late to start cheerleading? (for my high school..jv)? I never had the oppurtinity in gradeschool & I don't tumble. I was with some of my new friends (I just moved) & one is a cheerleader & one is a dancer. They saw my flexibility & asked me if I was a cheerleader & later said that I should be one. It got me thinking because I think it'd be cool but I don't know if I should go for it. I'm loud, average body. Thanks in advanced.

i don't think its too late. just practice before you tryout & ask your friends to help you. just because you don't have as much experience doesn't mean your skills will be bad. some people can just do it naturally. you might as well try it. if you don't make it, you can try something else.

i have thick thick THICK hair. you dont even know!! it is soo thick i can't curl it.

yeah when you go the hair dresser you can ask them to thin it out for you. when i straighten mine, it gets thinner too, so if you buy a good straightener that works for your hair, it will most likely thin out.

okay so i have really really thick straight hair. its pin straight and you cant even imagine how thick it is

because of this, my hair doesnt scrunch and when i put braids or use a curling iron, it looks horrible.

my friends that got perms totally hated them & ended up straightening them again anyways. you could probably try it. i have really curly hair, but i straighten it almost every day so idk. i would go to your hair dresser & see what she thinks. that's their job, so he/she will most likely be able to tell you if it would be a good idea or not. did you try scrunching it?? i think it looks cute & you can scrunch it wet or dry. just use tresemme mouse. rollers work better then a regular curling iron. you can get the flexible curlers & take a shower at night, wear them to bed [they're soft] & then take them out in the morning too. you could also google ideas.

i looked on the website & they weren't on it. the best thing to do would to either call them or go to a local walmart to check. the other columnist said that they might not be sold seperately & they might be right. also, you can check walgreens or cvs or something.

okay. so i have a bunch of friends..well its more like a clique at my school that im in right? so 3 people in the clique are like reallllllly close to me and the others are my fRIENDS but we're not that close.

Well today i just found out that the clique of friends im in, hung out last friday and are having a MOVIE FRIDAY thing.

When i found out this had happened, i began to ask myself "Do they like me?" "Am i Mean" "What am i doing wrong?"..and this is really driving me crazy bc i feel reallllllly left out. and the times where i try to hang out with the 3 people im close to, they're busy with the rest of the people in the clique.

don't take this so seriously. cliques are really stupid & i realized this. i've been hanging out with a lot of guys ever since. don't get me wrong, i have a few close friends that i know won't ever do that. just go & ask them about it. that would be the mature thing to do & you can figure things out then & move on. hang out with guys! way more fun & way less drama.

i think talking about anything & everything is good. i'm a girl obviously & i think that guys who start conversations are a lot nicer & more fun to be with than one's who don't. you want to make her feel that you like her without being too obvious about it or overdoing it. just talk about anything. school, work, tv, music, something at that moment. you may want to do some research. see what she's interested in. if she's interested in football for example, bring up a NFL game. or lets say she likes this band, say "oh did you hear that song". she'll really appreciate & take notice that you're doing this. if you can't find anything out, maybe just talk about what's going on at the moment. anything is better than nothing, trust me. as long as you start convo's & listen to her, things will most likely go fine. good luck!

first off, go to start. then go to run. if you have windows XP it should be under search on the right side. a box will come up and just type in aim & click run. if it doesn't show up, it was uninstalled and you can reinstall it at www.aim.com

if it is still on your computer it should pop up!

Norton anti-virus like the previous columnist said, most likely does not detect that. AIM does have spyware if it's downloaded on your computer, like a lot of programs. theres a brief explanation of this on wikipedia.

AOL has a lot more spyware & other viruses, so if you had to choose AIM would be the better choice. i heard that if you do not download AIM it will be better for your computer. of course almost everyone uses AIM, so a quick fix to that would be meebo.

the guy that i like and i are friends. he knows i like him. apparently he was planning on asking me to the winter semi-formal dance for a while, according to one of my friends. he asked me to go with him yesterday, and i said yes of course, but i dont know if he wants to go as "just friends" or as something more. how can i ask him without looking like an idiot? thanks =)

since he knows that you like him, he probably asked you as more. but since none of us know him personally or aren't him, the best thing would to be honest. just tell him that you're really excited that you are going together because you're friends & that he's fun to hang out with. i don't think you should push it & ask him 'what youre going as' because you don't want him to get nervous or freaked out if he thinks you're going as friends. it shouldn't be a big deal though, at least you are going with him. you can always get your friends to ask him or ask his friends about it, but don't make it into a big deal. plus, you can always ask him after. just enjoy that you're going with him & you'll probably be able to tell as the night goes on.

i looked this up & it says that there isn't a soundtrack out to the movie supercross. the only thing you could do is watch it & watch for the credits & get the songs off you want. otherwise, it will be extremely difficult to find the songs/artists online because there is no soundtrack exactly.

for a while now i've been thinking that i may have ocd. heres some of the little things i do, and if i don't do them then i want to cry and my stomach starts to hurt and i feel so guilty.
-when i eat something colored, such as m&m's, i have to eat them in a certain order. like all the reds. then all the greens. or red, green, red, green.
-when i lay on my back i HAVE to cross my right ankle over my left.
-when i shoot a freethrow i dribble it 3 times and then spin, drop, spin, drop.
-i have to take out my right contact, then left.
-when i eat noodles, i have to eat three at a time.
-when i eat something i try to eat it in numbers so that when theres quite a few left, the number left is how many letters there are in the name of the guy i like.
-i have to sleep on my left side.
-i HAVE to drink my coke with a straw, even if its in a can.
-i have to put my right rubberband on my braces before i put my left one on.
-i have to straighten the left side of my hair before the right side.
-whenever i pop a pimple, puss has to come out of it. [gross, i know.]
-when i stand, i have to bend my leg so i appear shorter than i really am.
-i save ALL my receipts and put them in order from the date of the receipt.
-i have to save all the little tear off price things from price tags.
-i have to save all my movie tickets and put them in order of the theater i was in.
there's more..but it's hard to explain some of them. do any of you think this could be a sign of OCD? i've told my mom, but she thinks i'm kidding, and it's making me upset. but maybe i'm just overthinking..? what do you think?

it does sound like you have OCD. i've been struggling with OCD myself for many years. i do have some of the habits as you. weird thing is my name is megan also haha. my parents didn't really believe me at first either. they thought i was overreacting a bit. i waited too long to go see a doctor about it & it has gotten worst. go see a professional. it will truly help you. also, you can look up websites on yahoo//google for other OCD signs & symptoms.

-i have never had a serious relationship, at all. When i was in 8th/9th grade or so i had a few "intimate" moments but nothing worth mentioning. Right now im quite lonely. betrayed by a few of my close friends (not really there fault, just time takes it toll) I tend to be a "friend" of many people. never have I once gotten sexually close or even talked about this to anyone.

At this point I am deperate for a sincere relationship. I am the type of person that would ask a girl out, as long as it was a 50% chance or higher I would get a "yes". But at this point I am pretty sure that not one girl would even consider me.

I'm not amazingly attractive, nor do I have the IQ of a genious. But I'm kind, smart, and caring.

I tend to question alot about life, and If a girl or friend in general cant hold there own ground, I may just lose that person from my life because I'm to damn annoying.

What should I do? I know alot of people as "friends". Not one would consider even going on a few dates with me to get to know me. I am a bit lonely and I feel that if I dont find someone soon, to at least raise me up a little higher, I might become depressed, or extremly lonely.

Since I'm a Junior I have a little more pressure/respect for my decision and I can justify what I do/am (Single/Not -Single)

How can i get what i want, a serious relationship with a great girl that will understand me. and someone who i can take an intrest in and help too (Im not selfish ^_^)

even from your question, you sound like a smart guy. believe it or not, a lot of people go through this. im a junior also & many of my guy friends feel the same way you are, but they juss don't tell anyone. put it this way- i don't get along with girls VERY well. i mean i have a few close friends, but i REALLY get along with guys. i'm not sure why. they open up to me & basically tell me things they wouldn't tell other guys. my advice would be try being friends with them first. for a successful serious relationship, you should really be friends first. why?? because if it doesn't work out, you can always go back to be friends and plus you'll know them better if you were friends to start with. just try it. don't go out searching for someone. you're very young. focus on school and see what comes your way. college is more of a right setting to find someone to have a relationship with. i've been dating my bf for a few years & everythings great because we were friends from the start. get to know girls you want to be friends with. if they see you as wanting to be their friend, rather than wanting to be your bf, they'll open up easier and give you a chance. also remember, you have time. you're still in hs. good luck!

our mascot is the indian, and their mascot is the charger, as in electrical charge.

don't you think you should be mad at him?? you guys dated & she's not your true friend if she did that to you. don't think about it & definately don't try splitting them up. if i were you, i'd ignore both of them. obviously if they make out the first day, they don't seem that serious about each other. the best thing to do would probably be dating around. test the waters basically. hang out with guys, become friends, etc. that way you can get your mind off of it. ask your other friends to help you out. maybe you guys can go somewhere & do something.

So, we like hate them. & there like slutty Ellen is FLIRTING AWAY WITH THEM. So, my friend Stephanie & me got mad.. because it made Jaci cry, & so we also were like dude, way to ditch us. So, we went behind her, & you know when you wanna get someones attention, you snap there bikini? like.. yeah.. well thats what my friend Stephanie & I meant to do. We were in the deep end & Stephanie & me suck at swimming, so we both grabbed the ends, & it like started to come undone, but she caught it the second it did. & the guys said they didn't even see anything. So, then she got all mad at us. & like all the girls & half the guys like hate her.. so they were all like GOOD JOB! So, we still apologized, because we felt bad. But, instead of her just slowly forgiving us. She told all these people, & made them think we were lesbians. Which is TOTTALY gay, considering Stephanies had like 4 boyfriends & I've had like 8 boyfriends & madeout with them and such. So, yeahh. We're mad that they think that. I don't know what do. Everyone kept teasing Stephanie in school, about it. They didn't say anything to me, because.. well I'm mean. haha. But, I don't know whether to yell at Ellen, & like completely ruin her life.. or to, just act like I don't care & never talk to her again.
