i have recently found out that verizon has bought alltel and i want alltel so does anyone no what phones will be compatible with verizon because i want the LG scoop

Altell isn't going to be verizon untill about the begining of 2010.
So therefore, if you get altell, you'll still have it when they switch over. They're just going to call it Verizon, the new altell.

The blackberry is a good phone, however, to get that phone, you're going to be stuck with it untill your 2 year contact ends. This is because to get a blackberry you need to be on a smartphone plan. Which is more expensive than the regular cell phone plans.

The glyde is a good phone, I mean..It's OK. But I'm really reccomending the voyager. I just recently got it, after having the 1st env for 2 years. & I am in love with it. I don't have a single complaint about it.

I have verizon. My contract expires in mid-August, and I really want my new phone to have a keyboard. I've been texting non-stop lately and i need a keyboard to help the process along haha. :)

If you want an amazing phone, do NOT go with the Glyde. GET THE VOYAGER.
I recently got the voyager as my 2 year contact upgrade.. & To be honest I don't have a single complaint about it. I have heard negative things about the Glyde and how the touch screen is terrible. On the Voyager, you can do callibration so that the touch screen will be set to your settings. Also, the keys are bigger on the voyager. It is a great phone, and you can get some cute cases for it (: I'll answer any questions, so let me know!

i have the enV (the second one) and it keeps turning off on it's own, quite occasionaly.

i've had to replace my phone about 4 times trough insurance. the first time i had to pay 50 dollars for a new one because i dropped it in the water, but the next 3 were not my fault so i got them for free. if i have to deal with insurance, i don't want to have to pay and i'm afraid i will (even though i have not done anything to cause my phone to act up).

i've heard that it could be a loose battery and i just need to go to the verizon store and they will fix it.

could that be possible, and is it fixable? or what else could be the problem, and how do i solve it?

I have the first enV, and as well as yours, mine does that quite often, and if it happens one time, I call them right up and request a new one.

Yes, it is possible it could be a lose battery. I say if it happens with different phones, but same battery, that is probably your problem. I would ask them to replace it, and if they wont, go ahead and just buy a new one.

The only other thing I can recommend is to talk to the manager. I did this with my first chocolate when I had to replace it 7 times. Explain to the manager how you are unsatisfied with your phone and how you would like to chose another one around the same price, and pay the difference.

i have a verizon chocolate phone with aim on it. ive tried siging in on my screen name countless times, and it wont work. i know im typing in everything right, but it wont work. i can sign in on my sisters screen name and any of my friends screen names though. why cant i sing in on my screen name and what can i do to make it so i can sign in?
