ok to get to the point i am a cutter and i don't cut because i am depressed i cut because it gives me a nice rush i think i might be bipolar because i looked it up on wikipedia and it said that people who are bipolar do that and ilike the feeling of getting body piercings so can someone please tell me if i am.

Cutting yourself is retarded. Why in the hell do you do it? See a counselor to stop [even if you don't want to] because serious consequences come with cutting. Trust me. You get these ugly scars, and you've gotta cover yourself up all the time so nobody finds out. You get teased when people do find out, and you could eventually kill yourself, whether it was on purpose, or on accident.
I like body piercings too. I usually do mine myself, but I'm getting one professionally done sometime this week. Just because you like piercings does not mean you're bipolar.
charmed3fanatic answered Saturday February 3 2007, 9:33 pm: well; i like body piercings too; and anything with pain. but i'm not bipolar. my friend is bipolar and what it is simpily is one second your completely normal and then in 1/2 of a second you start flipping out going crazy for NO reason at all.
example: if your going down the hall all happy and then you look up and just start flipping out on some random guy = bipolar
if your going down the hall happy and some random guy bumps into you and you start flipping out = doenst' mean your bipolar
read that & see if any of that relates to how you feel. if it does, i would suggest going to the doctor. cutting is a major issue & should not be used as an effective way to relieve stress or depression. it does not solve any of your problems even if you feel good for a moment or two. just read up on the articles [you can also google more] & you should see a therapist to deal with any of those things.

If you really think you're bipolar, try looking up Bipolar Disorder on WebMD.com. They have more accurate information.
I know how you feel, body piercings are pretty cool. I got my nose pierced. But maybe deep down, there is a deeper reason for why you cut yourself. What's going on in your life right now? Do you feel like you fit in with kids at your school? Do you fight with your parents alot? Any of these reasons could be reasons why you are cutting yourself. Sometimes we don't know why we do certain things. Sometimes I don't know why I cry. But in our sub concious, we know the real reasons for what we do.
Bipolar Disorder is when you're happy for a week, and then very depressed the next week. Since you said you're not depressed, I doubt you're Bipolar. Besides, if you're a teen, it's normal to feel weird like that. I would look into other reasons why you might be cutting yourself. Maybe you just like danger, and cutting yourself makes you feel alive, like you're taking a risk. That might be why you cut yourself. But still, it's not healthy to so you should look up information about it. Also look information up about OCD. I sugguest WebMD. Hope I helped!
