winter semi-formal<3
the guy that i like and i are friends. he knows i like him. apparently he was planning on asking me to the winter semi-formal dance for a while, according to one of my friends. he asked me to go with him yesterday, and i said yes of course, but i dont know if he wants to go as "just friends" or as something more. how can i ask him without looking like an idiot? thanks =)

That's cute, congrats. :) I'd just ask him straight up. You aren't going to look like an idiot, I promise. Any girl in your situation would probably be asking the same thing, so it's not a big deal.

since he knows that you like him, he probably asked you as more. but since none of us know him personally or aren't him, the best thing would to be honest. just tell him that you're really excited that you are going together because you're friends & that he's fun to hang out with. i don't think you should push it & ask him 'what youre going as' because you don't want him to get nervous or freaked out if he thinks you're going as friends. it shouldn't be a big deal though, at least you are going with him. you can always get your friends to ask him or ask his friends about it, but don't make it into a big deal. plus, you can always ask him after. just enjoy that you're going with him & you'll probably be able to tell as the night goes on.
