my bf hair sprays his hair but its been a week since hes done it and it still feels like theres hairspray in it. he has washed his hair every day since the last time he has sprayed it and it feels dirty and hard even tho theres nothing in it haha. we have been looking for something to get rid of build up and just degunk his hair. does anyone know of anything that can help him?

i called my aunt on new years day. she called back later on her patient's house phone and told me she'd call me later when her minutes were free. i saw time going so before i went to sleep i called her but her cell phone rang twice and the voicemail came on. i called back later in the night and this time it just rang until the voicemail came on. the next two days the same thing kept happening. it was strange to me that she wouldn't return none of my calls because that's not like her. after the third day i gave up. a few weeks later i answered my house phone and it was my aunt. i purposely kept quiet because i was waiting for her to mention me calling her but instead she said hi like normal then asked me what was wrong with my phone(i didn't have any minutes)then she said she'd call me later. that was the last time i talked to her and i've purposely put my cell to accept calls from certain people excluding her. i just thought if she wasn't ignoring me then she could have gave a little explanation for not paying me any mind and then call out of nowhere as if noting happened who thinks i should ignore her because that's what i'm going for

Honestly, it seems like she just forgot, then got really busy. Don't worry about it unless she's done it before.

im planning on taking a hiphop class (it starts tomorrow) but i dont know what to wear and im pretty sure theres some type of dress code of sorts you have to follow for hiphop... but any suggestions on what exactly im suppose to wear? tight fitting shirt or loose? baggy/cargo pants or not? tennis shoes or something else? please and thank you!

When should I start looking for prom dresses and trying them on? Because it's almost February and my prom is in May. I want to start looking but I have and will be loosing more weight.

Get your dress at least a month or two ahead of time- I bought mine super-early just to make sure no one would have the same dress. Maybe set a goal for your weight loss, and when you've reached that weight, then buy your dress. No harm in looking early, though.

Where can I get some plain, black pants? Nothing fancy, and not Dickies. Just plain black pants that are like jeans, but not. Anyone have any idea where I could get some? I'd appriciate it a lot. =) Thanks!

About 6 hours ago I got punched right in the bridge of my nose really hard. I was fine at first but for about 5 hours I've had a bad headache. I just took some painkillers and an arnica tablet for the bruising on my forhead, nose and inner eye but I'm worried about getting black eyes. Is there anything I can do to keep things to a minimum or ease the pain?

I know it's cold outside, but you need to put some ice wrapped in a towel on it. It's the only thing that will make the swelling go down- ice has stopped me from getting a couple of black eyes. If you get a black eye anyway, use a cream concealer and powder- usually black eyes don't last too long. For pain, take advil, but there's not much else you can do.

I was taking a shower a few hours ago and when I got out, I went to turn the heater off because it felt like it was getting a little too warm in the bathroom I was in. When I got out of the shower and went to turn it off, I all of a sudden got extremely dizzy, and from the corners of my peripheral vision started seeing fuzzy, green optical illusions until I couldn't see anything, which was terrifying...my head started to hurt really badly, and when I could see again, the bathroom light was off. I was still standing in the same position and everything but I couldn't remember turning the light off. What could have possibly happened? What could have caused this? Please help?

It sounds as though you may have gotten electrically shocked from the heater if you actually touched it.

Even if it was a seizure, it doesn't mean you have epilepsy. A girl I know recently had one. Her head hurt and she didn't know what happened- she was very scared, upset, and crying- she had blacked out. (Some people don't fall/move during seizures).

Or you could have, as the person below me mentioned, low blood pressure, but that doesn't explain the light being off.

You need to talk to someone about this- if you're a minor, your parents. If you're an adult, maybe call your doctor but please do something- electric shocks are dangerous (and you could have blown a fuse) and you could have a health problem.

my boyfriend and i are thinking about having sex for the first time in the near future. i don't really have access to getting birth control because my mom would flip out and i don't have anyone who could take me to a health center type thing to get some.

my question is, is a condom effective enough to use without me being on birth control. will it be safe?? and is it true that there is only a 2% chance of getting pregnant with a condom?

Condoms are 85% effective average, but chances are if it's your first time, it could get put on wrong or something. Birth control is 99% effective, have a friend drive you to planned parenthood or wherever, but please don't take your chances with condoms.

in my school theres this club called the "Duck Tape Club". me and my friend were CRACKING UP when we heard it on the announcements.. but seriously like nobody i know knows what it is!! and they said yesterday that there were only 7 more slots left, and today it said that the spots were filled, and not to fret cause they're making another club in the spring. Some people make their prom dresses/suits out of colored duct tape (sounds weird, but i've seen some really gorgeous dresses, and they always fit perfectly) for this scholarship competition. That could be what it is. Otherwise, i don't know.

We are going to have an Oregon-Oxford debate for one class and that's our topic. I'm for the birth control side. Meaning, having [premarital] sex is okay for as long as you use birth control methods(be it artificial or natural). I'm so sure that the opposition(Abstinence) will read us some biblical stuff and will probably tell us that no contraceptive is 100% effective.

Pleeeeease give me good and strong answers to these stuff because I (and my group) don't wanna look like a fool in front of everyone.

Condoms are 85% effective. Birth control pills are 99% effective. Put them together and you have a minimal chance of getting pregnant.

In an ideal world, teenagers wouldn't have sex. But the reality is that they do (45% average, but in 1993 it was 72%). It'd be nice if they didn't, but there's no real way to stop them, so the least you can do is prevent pregnancy.

Some people never get married. Does that mean they should remain virgins until they die?

People having sex with birth control isn't hurting anyone! Abstinence is not realistic. At all. Instead of trying to fix something impossible, why not stop something bad from happening? It's the only thing you can do.

Why the bible says abstinence before marriage: in those days, the average age of marriage was about 16. That's outdated- now people get married later in life.

I love JesusFreak2006's argument- make sure to use that.

Oh, and if you don't understand imperialistic's argument, what they mean is that with birth control, your chance of getting pregnant is 0.01% (not 0.01% effective!!!).

I am seriously confused,
because I've heard that Agnostic means you don't believe in anything, and Athiest means you make fun of God.
Is that right?

Agnostics believe there is some form of god, but nothing specifically.
Atheists don't believe in God or the devil.

Negative things:
Some agnostics are people who want to be atheists, but are afraid of going to hell.
A few loud atheists have made people think they're weird. Most atheists ARE normal! (I'm one and I don't make fun of "god"- unless someone tries to convert me).

What are the bands that the Red Hot Chili Peppers imitate in their Dani California video?

There's a little elvis, the beatles, nirvana, there's a lot so I don't know all of them. At the end when he's in the black shirt, I've heard some people say it's them being themselves, which is a little more believable than some others who think it's AC/DC.

EDIT: Well,at first glance it looks like it- I guess you have really dark eyelashes. Try brown mascara and burgundy/brown eyeshadow to make your eyes stand out without looking sunken in. Also, in the second picture it looks like you have highlights, if you do you might want to tone them down- they're kinda brassy. Also, try a new hair cut with some kind of bangs (even sideswept) to make your face look less long). I think you look pretty in the first picture, but in the second one...I think it's just an unflattering angle though.


You're not traditionally pretty, but you have interesting features and beautiful eyes (but tone down the eyeliner). I don't know if you've ever seen Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency show on TV, but you look exactly like the type of girl she picks for high fashion bookings- unique and beautiful with great features.

The only thing I'd recommend is a little sheer lip gloss and/or blush- besides that you're fine.
