Hey! My name is Ashlea. I've been a member on here for a few years. I'm 24 years old and have a little baby boy. I'm pretty outgoing and I love to joke around. I have a very strong sense of humor and I love making people laugh. I don't care too much about what other people think about me because in the end, you're all you got. Nothing else matters but your true opinion of yourself. I think everyone is beautiful in their own ways. I never look down on anyone nor do I judge people for their decisions or lifestyles. I love to listen to music. That's probably the only reason I like driving, otherwise, It'd be boring as hell. I love spending time with my son. He is by far the best thing that's ever happened to me. He is my best friend and when I'm with him, nothing else matters. The whole world could pass me by, and as long as I have him, it doesn't matter one bit. He's the only one who can truly make me smile. I am truly happy because of him. I love spending money when I have it, and sometimes, that can be a bad habit. I love to write poems, and am told I am very good at it, but only when I'm upset or bothered by something. Lately, though, I have not written any. I also enjoy writing. I seem to have a way with words and I love how a paper sounds after I write it. It makes me sound more intelligent.(lol) I also like to watch movies, mostly comedy and drama...I hate action movies and boy-ish movies. Horror movies give me nightmares(yes, even at this age.) ...I like to go on the computer alot and I love meeting new people, so feel free to get in touch with me!
I hate people who think they are better than you, and people who are snobby or stuck-up. Having that attitude will never get you anywhere in life, and I look at it as a sign of immaturity. I like to be around people that within the first 5 minutes of talking to them you know that you will already feel comfortable with them because they are that down to earth. I can't stand people who criticize other people and their lives. Understand that you, as well, have things about your life that you do not like...so you wouldn't like it very much if people talked about you in a bad way, would you? We're all human, we all make mistakes and run into bad situations. Things happen that we can't control. These are all parts of life though and can be handled with the help of others, which is why negative criticism is not needed.
I believe that what you can't control, you have to let go. Too often we hang onto things when we have no control or power over its outcome, so in the end, life will take its course and we have to just go with it.
I guess some people would say I can be selfish at times, although I choose not to believe that(lol), and if things don't go my way, i WILL be upset. But, I also learn to get over it and move on. I love giving advice. Everyone I know say that's the one thing they love about me the most...I never judge anyone on any of their problems and I truly do enjoy helping people with their problems in any way I can. I will go to any extent I have to in order to help someone else. I have a habit of putting other people's needs ahead of my own. I have been giving people advice and helping people so much with their problems that I don't even get that GREAT feeling anymore from helping people. It's just in my nature and I am happy to just be able to be of some sort of help to anyone: stanger or friend.

I have AIM downloaded to my computer. It has aways worked fine. Now whenever I click on the icon to launch aim nothing happens...? No matter how much I try restarting. Then once in a blue moon the window where you type your username and such comes up, I fell it out, and it says "connecting" and then "Aim service cannot be reached, check internet connection". The internet is working fine, only Aim isnt working. What should I do?!
try uninstalling it and then downloading it again but make sure it is completely uninstalled from your computer before you re-download. go to your control panel to uninstall it.
i want mines done and i wanted to know if it hurts beacuse i got my belly done and it didnt hurt but i wanted to know if the tounge percing hurted so please help me
the actual piercing part doesnt hurt at all ..barely ...the only part that hurts during the whole process is the healing period. it will take about 2 weeks to heal and for me, it was hell. i couldnt eat, drink, or barely do anything for a few days. it is really hard to get through, or at least for me it was, but after wards its worth it, so dont worry, dont be scared. you'll get through it, and for some people, the healing part isn't even that bad. so good luck and get back to me if you need any more advice. have fun hun.
hey. i wrote a while ago about that i was 12 and had a boyfriend for 2 months and im his first relationship and we hardly hugged and hadn't kissed yet...well you said i should get back to you and tell you how things are so i thought i would! well now we've been goin out for 4 months yesterday and we're so close and everythings going so good. we hug a lot now and we've even kissed twice. we hold hands and hes so sweet. so thanks alot because you were totally right i just had to give him time! well i just wanted to keep ya updated and thanks again for that advice.

i've been getting headaches alot and really i mean ALOT!...ive had 3 today and ive been having them like everyday. does anyone know what could be the reason?
i went through that. i used to have major headaches for months on end!! ..i finally went to see a doctor, and she told me that it was my sinuses and she gave me medicine for it. so, definatley go see a doctor.

it is most likely a "sty"...go to the doctors and he will give you medicine for it. my little sister had 9 on her eyes once !! she had to get surgery because she waited too long to go to the doctors, so make sure to go!

Is it possible to be in love when your 13? i am 18 years old and i think that yes, it is very possible to fall in love at any age. but chances are, its not really love. i know you think what you are feeling is love right now, but when i was 13 and even 14, i always had crushes and thought each one was love, and some of the guys i would swear that i loved more than anybody else...and it's okay to feel that way...you'll learn as you get older and really truly find love and you will look back and see how much of a difference your feelings are when you're older about a guy than when you are 13. but yes, it is possible to fall in love at a young age...but when you're older, look back and see how much you will change throughout the years.

I dont have normal nightmares like most people. My worst nightmares are falling down the stairs. Lame huh? So i'd just be stepping down these wooden stairs, and i'd hesitate on the last step, and fall. I always wake up with a fast heart beat. What does this mean???

I babysit for an hour and a half everyday.
Lucky me, I get the hours when the youngest baby wants to go to sleep more.
The parents keep asking me to try and keep her awake till they come home cause if not she won't sleep at night.
I always fail and she always ends up falling asleep then the parents have trouble getting her back to sleep in the middle of the night.
So I need tips on keeping her awake. She's 8 months old. Don't just say ''Play with her'' because I keep trying but she just crys then I pick her up and she falls asleep.
Oh and I also babysit her sister who is 3 years old so anything that they could both do would be good, I don't want to leave any of them out.
pop in a movie ..a cartoon or something along those lines. make them a snack to eat. put toys on a blanket in the middle of the floor and let them play. those are just some ideas i thought of off the top of my head that i do with my nieces. get back to me if you need anything. take care and have fun.

ps. also remember that an 8 mth. year old baby is expected to fall asleep. you cant force it to stay awake especailly at 8 mths. old when sleep is a critical time for the baby.
Ok I have a boyfriend, and I just wanted to make sure that it was normal to think that he is a better person than you. He is smart, funny, nice, and overall an AMAZING guy. I just feel like he could do so much better than me! I know it's a silly question, but I just wanted to know if others felt the same? I just feel so incredibly lucky that he likes me and is going out with me. Words can't express how I feel.

hi, i'm new to this subject, how often do you recommend changing a tampon? and is it okay for ppl who just got their 'aunt flow' visit for the first time recently to wear them? thanks
definately by 8 hours. thats the maximum time someone should wear one for. in every tampon box that you buy, there will be a little packet showing how to insert one, when to change it, and so on. and yes, its okay to wear it right when you first get your period. i recommend using ones at the lowest absorbancy you can to prevent TSS, which is also in the packet. take care and get back to me with anything you may need. id be glad to help.

Im sorry to say that most of the time , when I sleep I dream about killing people or I die in my dreams, me and my grilfriend are really worried about this, does anyone have and advice for me?
ive had many many dreams where i die...i have nightmares about 4 out of the 7 days of the week and all of them now are me dying. im not sure if its normal to have these dreams but ive talked to alot of people about them and they all say that its okay, and that they have them sometimes too. you and your girlfriend have no need to worry because they are just dreams. if they are bothering you this much, you should definately talk to a professional about this to ease your stress.
My friend was around marajuana over the weekend, i'm not sure weather or not she smoked, but she could have. Then she got sick and her mom took her to the doctor, where she had a blood test done to see weather or not she had mono. Should she be worried about the marajuana showing up on the test? do you think that the doctor will notice if it does? Please help!

no it will not show up because that is a different type of test. this is a blood test looking specifically for mono. even if marijuana does show up, it doesnt matter because that is not what is being looked for, but i can guarentee you that it will not show up because it is a totally different type of test that your friend is taking. i had the same problem before so i kno what im talking about.
My mother is triplegic (meaning that she can't walk, and that she can't use one of her arms very well). Recently, I was taken out of my mother's home, and now she lives alone. In the past two years, she has moved twice. the first time she had a lung failure and my familly decided that she needed to move closer to us so that we could keep an eye on her. The second time, she got evicted. Now they are raising her rent (which was already too high for her to live comforatably) and she's worried that she's going to get evicted again. She's only forty seven, and she's been bed ridden since 21, and has gotten aid from Medicaid, and Medicare, but that won't be enough for this I'm afraid. After this house, she'll have nowhere left to go, and our house is too small ( we have seven people, a dog, and a cat)for her to live with us( and we are to poor to move either.) I don't want my mother to have to move into a rest home. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I love my mother soooooooooo much! Please don't delete my question, I really really really need some help!!!
i see what you're sayin and i really am sorry to hear all of this. i think you should talk to your mother and see what she thinks about going into a home. i know you dont want to let her go there, but maybe it is for the best. think it over and try and do whats best for the both of you. take care and keep your head up. if you need anything else, please dont hesitate to ask.

yes it is normal....for right now. if you dont get your first period by the time you're 16, definately see a doctor. and if you dont get your period in your whole life, that means you have a problem and you can not have children. look up into it. its a good thing to know about, especially being a woman.
