My friend was around marajuana over the weekend, i'm not sure weather or not she smoked, but she could have. Then she got sick and her mom took her to the doctor, where she had a blood test done to see weather or not she had mono. Should she be worried about the marajuana showing up on the test? do you think that the doctor will notice if it does? Please help!
paenian answered Monday March 28 2005, 8:40 pm: The blood test for mono is very basic, so they might not notice the marijuana. Of course, if they do the doctor is legally bound to report it, and some labs do drug screening on all blood samples. I'd be worried, but you might get lucky. See if it was last week or two weeks ago she would have been fine. But theres a risk the doctor may find out! Whether he/she will talk to her or her mom about it..is up to the doctor!
