Very well! Basically, it is inserted similarly to a tampon (they'll show you where it needs to go) and basically collects everything leaking out of your cervix. It depends on the period, but usually it gets emptied twice a day. It's a bit messier than a tampon until you get the hang of it... you'll want to make sure the first few times are at home in private!
The big benefit is that there's no waste; the biggest problem is that it sits in a drawer for a month collecting germs/yeast - wash it before every use!

Hi, I'm only 22 years old....female. I went on the contraceptive pill and was on it for two years. However, I had to stop due to side effects such as really bad migraines and loss of libido. However, since I stopped a year ago, my breasts have decreased in size and my libido has not returned! What can I do to regain my breasts and my libido? PLease help me as my situation is really making me feel so old.
A big issue is time... you were on hormones (that's what's in them things) for two years, and off them for how long?
Breasts are enlarged when you're on the pill because it makes parts of your body act as if it's pregnant - if you have a kid, they'll probably be that size again! Not helpful, I know, but I don't think there's anything to be done about it.
Libido, though... so many variables. First is time; if you've only been off for a month or two I'd suggest waiting a bit for the hormones to fade completely. Of course, there are many different pills; I think the best thing to do would be to chat with whomever prescribed them to you; they certainly ought to know more than I.

It's probably due to the angle of entry - which isn't necessarily a problem, but if he's pressing on the rear (towards your butt) of your vagina he's missing the best parts. Try lying back more and having him angle his fingers to the front; it's much more sensitive and you should be able to relax more.

It's basically a tight ring of skin near the opening of a woman's vagina. It will usually tear the first time the woman has intercourse and will bleed a little (and maybe hurt a tad). Often times the hymen will tear earlier, however, just by chance - don't worry. Typically virginity is determined by wether or not the hymen is intact.

It seems like you've tried to show him and that it hasn't worked. You can keep trying, but I'd think the best way to go is to ask the teacher/supervisor to have a talk with him. Let him know what you're doing; maybe he can get transferred to another class or at least will get some counseling so you don't have to face him alone.

Me and mum used to get along really well. Now i am getting moody i suppose and i am always fighting with her. I hate it because we always got along so well. So it seems like there are two problems - your mom is rude to you, and you're very moody... I translate that to you being rude to her as well.
Now, you have complete control over your moodyness - you have no real control over your mother. So, my advice would be to exercise your control over yourself first; if you're in a bad mood, stay away from people or do something that you know will cheer you up. If you're successful in controlling the moodyness towards your mom I'm sure you'd have less of a problem.

I feel a bit awkward using this site.. I've never asked anyone for advice like this before.. I'm a 15 year old male, and I've been with my girlfriend for about 8 months. She works at a pizza shop and is surrounded by other people. A few weeks ago a worker from a different location was transferred to her shop.. She got along very well with him. I saw her that weekend and she seemed a little subdued, I tried to talk to her about it, but she said she was fine.. I tried to call her the following evening, but she didn't pick up her phone, nor her mobile.. I was pretty worried.. and I'm known to be a very worrying and fragile type person..
Anyway, the day after, I called her and found out that she had been at the movies with this guy.. She told me it was as a friend.. but later that night when she went to work, he kissed her.. this really upset me.. And she said she was very sorry and would stop seeing him..
However, one day, the following week, I tried to call her, and she wasn't there.. I stayed up until about 1 or 2 in the morning, calling her, untill she finally picked up.. Having been out with him again.. She is very truthful to me, and said that she was just seeing him as a friend, and didn't tell me because she knew I'd get upset.
She said to me that she loves me, and likes him, but she doesn't know what she wants.. I really can't take being strung along like this.. I'm naturally a very sensitive person, and my music is no longer enough to keep me alive.. I'm not at school, I don't have a job, I have very little to hold me together.. Little things - no cars, no escalators/elevators, no conveniences. Carry around something a little heavier all the time - the key is to raise your constant energy draw, not just burn some calories an hour a day. Eating healthy is fairly important; if you're really boned up on that I'd suggest getting a vegetarian cookbook and eating something out of it several times a week.
