what is a diva cup and how does it work?

Very well! Basically, it is inserted similarly to a tampon (they'll show you where it needs to go) and basically collects everything leaking out of your cervix. It depends on the period, but usually it gets emptied twice a day. It's a bit messier than a tampon until you get the hang of it... you'll want to make sure the first few times are at home in private!

The big benefit is that there's no waste; the biggest problem is that it sits in a drawer for a month collecting germs/yeast - wash it before every use!

i actually have heard of it...its like a reusable "tampon" sort of thing. it goes up in your vagina to do a tampon's job. <3
