I'm afraid you're gonna hafta shmack 'em in the head. Or do something to put the fear of the lap in her. Otherwise it won't stop, and it'll just keep getting bigger and bigger and you'll be stuck with a big fat old cat on your lap and it won't be cute at all.
Alternatively reward her somehow for staying on the floor when the lap is available. Just make the floor more appealing somehow.

Q: There is a show on TV, called America's Most Talented Kids~ and you are allowed to enter..and I want to enter...I'm a dancer, and I'm old enough. But it's in California, and if I ended up winning the audition, I (or my parents) wouldn't have enough money for me to go...And I really really want this..What should I do?!

Go for it. Worry about fundage after you don't get shot down. In the (let's be honest) unlikely event you're considered most worthy for your division or whatever, you can dance in the street for sponsorships and donations. It's not unheard of for a town to back it's talented citizens. Good places to try are your local council office, and local businesses.

Honestly if he's in that much trouble that he's headed for the big house for any serious period of time then it's not worth it. I'd say that about any extended departure but jail is special case because it means he's a FUCKING MORON.

Start by not doing it. Honestly, if people around you are upset about something you're doing then it means you are doing something wrong. Kay? Kay.

Q: I'm 15 years old and I've never had a boyfriend. Pathetic, I know. The main problem people keep telling me is that when i like a guy i tend to be shy around him. I like this one guy right now and he knows i like him thanks to one of my big mouth friends. We've talked only maybe twice before he found out i liked him but thats the only time we've ever talked. When i see him in the halls he looks at me...what does that mean? How can i get him to like me without coming on to him as a stalker?

I know a guy who's about to turn 21 and has never had a girlfriend. He's a great guy and there's no reason for him to not snag a chick, but it's just not happening for him. Don't think you're pathetic because you're 15 without a boyfriend.
Anyway to the point! If you talked to him twice online you really haven't gotten to know him well enough to know if you like him. I suggest just talking to him some more. You don't have to flirt or come on to him, just talk. If you're interested in him, and he's interested in you, then start thinking about moving on to bigger and better things. If you're shy that's just something you have to work through, but seriously, you shouldn't like him so much to make you feel that way, if you do you're only going for looks or reputation rather than actual compatibility, and that's bad.
So in summary: Talk. And don't feel like you need to rush into a relationship just because everyone around you seems to be doing it. You'll make better decisions if you take your sweet time.

Clearly your boyfriend has been brainwashed. You'll need to reprogram him by sexing him long and hard. If he resists, your relationship is doomed.
Good luck!

Out of around 450 odd people in my last year at high school, I'm still in contact with about 10, if I'm generous and count friends-of-friends. So yeah, you should be worried, but the fact is you'll probably find new people who are cooler than any of the peeps you left behind anyways. Friendship is temporary, it sucks but it's true. Don't let it get you down too much.

Q: My mom doesn't want me to get braces because she thinks my teeth are fine. But I think I do need them because there are like 3 teeth that aren't straight. Well we had a huge argument over this and now she's mad at me. But anyhow, I got my seperators today and they are really annoying. Do they hurt the day after? And when I get my braces will they hurt? Also, what should I do about my mom-situation?? She's not talking to me and she's very pissed that I am getting braces.

Firstly, you're in for a world of pain. But relax, as other people have said it only really hurts to start off with, and every time you get them tightened. The thing is, it's a long sustained pressure rather than a sort of jabby pain, so you'll feel it all the time until it stops. You know what I mean.
Anyways the best you can do is take care of them and take care of your teeth and hopefully you'll get them out nice and quick and be much happier about your smile. And hopefully your mother will notice the difference too and get over the cost.

You met her online, didn't you? Are you even sure she's your actual girlfriend? Is that just something you say because you talk to her on the phone more often than you do most of your friends, and before you hang up you both say "I love you?" If you haven't met, most likely you're not actually together. Even if both of you agree that you are, the only true test is to hook up, because there is a world of difference between a chat box in MSN or a voice down the phone and the person in the flesh.
Now obviously I don't know the whole situation, and for all I know you've actually met in person before, but if so why would you be afraid of being pushed away? Or maybe you met before you "got together" and haven't seen each other since. Regardless, my advice to you is to just meet her, don't get to hung up about what will happen when you do, and hopefully it won't suck. Worst case scenario is that you're both so nervous it doesn't work out, but even then you've still got a cool phone friend and you're only 14 so there's plenty of time to find someone better.

I consider myself uniquely qualified to give advice, because my own life is a shambles and I have never been able to attain what I desire. Or wait... maybe that makes me bad at this sort of thing... I can never tell.
Anyways, I'm pretty big into theatre and writing and getting high on life in all sorts of spectacular ways. Just ask me anything and we'll see how we go, shall we?
