Is it possible to be in love when your 13? Im turning 14 in July but still....his mom wont let him date until like a 'year down the road" (thats what she told me) and we are both willing to wait until his mom 'allows' him to date....ive never liked somebody so much in my life! And hes not even the hottest thing in the world hes the sweetest, funniest, adorablest guy in the world....and ive NEVER felt this way about ANYBODY....i LoVe him....but still is it possible to fall in love when your 13?

heh. I thought that recently. I'm not alowed to date either. Honestly, I don't think you can fall in LOVE with someone, but I think you can like some seriously. I had a crush on this kid when I was 4. I like-liked him. I mean, you can show feelings no matter WHAT age. Try going out as a group. Maybe call it dating, but really just carry the status of going out. You could call eachother every night, and so on. There's many possibilities for you both.

No, i think that it is impossible to fall in love truely when your thirteen. You might think your in love with someone but the reality of it all is your only thirteen your way too young to be thinking about love. His mom is right you're way too young to be dating for real. Wait till your at least 15 then talk about loving someone!

it is possible to fall in love at any age. love has no limits. i am in love with the best guy in the whole entire world and he's dating my best friend...just see how hard that is for me...it hurts alot...i've told him i loved him...i belive you totally, and i hope you can wait that long to date him! (if i were you though i'd secretely go out with him and not tell your parents, it makes the relationship that much more exciteing...lol) go for it

Yeah it's definently possible to be in love when your 13. I'm 13 and I really love my boyfriend. I feel about how you feel but his mom let's him date me. Sorry his mom won't let him go out with you. But just give it time and if it's meant to be then it will happen. Good luck!

heyy .. no its not possible because when your 13 its only puppy love its not real like for example your not going to get married to this boy or have children with him and as you get older you will have a differnet taste in boys then you do now adn at the age of 13 boys are pretty inmature and not mature enough to have a relationship with just one girl so chances are he is probably going to break up wiht you and make you cry somewhere alone the line sorry you didnt hear what you wanted to hear

I guess you can fall in love at 13, but I highly doubt it. For example: I liked my now ex-boyfriend so much... (I was close to your age when this happened) we even told each other that we loved each other. But then he broke up with me. After about a month or so of sadness, I realized that I didn't love him, but I was in more of a "strong like." So, it really depends. You have to follow your heart, and no one on this advice website can tell you how. But there is a difference between liking someone a lot and loving them. I think that it’s possible to fall in love at any age. However, I think since you said, "I have never felt this way about a guy before." you may not be "in love" yet. You have really strong romantic feelings for him, but I am just not positive if it's love yet. I am not saying that its not possible or anything because it certainly is! My advice for you to do is to try to get to know this guy better by hanging out with him. If you two start hanging out his Mom may even feel that he is responsible enough to date you. Heck yeah it's possible! If you REALLY like this guy, well then wait for a year when his momma comes around, and then date him. Get to know him better than you do now. See if he's the guy you think he is. And if not, keep trying. You'll keep looking until you're old enough to get married so then the dude you find then will be the oerson you want to spend the rest of your life with. Hope i helped!

yeah i reckon its possible to feel like you're in love at 13 and if its not love then who cares? The important thing is that you both feel the same way about each other. It doesn't have to be love as long as you're happy do you understand what i mean? And if you're not actually in love with him at the moment and things carry on the way they're going you will feel in love eventually! don't listen to people who say that you can't fall in love so young they're just jealous!

Its more like a Carin', Understandin' and Compatiblity and maybe comfort. I wouldn't even say its a crush, or Infatuation. Especially, like yours, if the guy/gurl is not hot/cute watever. The last time i felt i was in-love, i was 15. I'm still a child (nobody thinks so but...), yet still feel that way towards him. But i realised that was/is a carin'. i am 18 years old and i think that yes, it is very possible to fall in love at any age. but chances are, its not really love. i know you think what you are feeling is love right now, but when i was 13 and even 14, i always had crushes and thought each one was love, and some of the guys i would swear that i loved more than anybody else...and it's okay to feel that way...you'll learn as you get older and really truly find love and you will look back and see how much of a difference your feelings are when you're older about a guy than when you are 13. but yes, it is possible to fall in love at a young age...but when you're older, look back and see how much you will change throughout the years.
