ok, if you read the back of a mountain dew bottle it says like alot of stuff about what its made of, and one of the things its made of is yellow 5, now i heard that yellow 5 kills sperm cells. but i also heard alot of other stuff that is suppoust to kill sperm cells that wasnt ture but i heard this is really really ture. so does yellow 5 kill sperm cells and makes it a less chance to get a girl preggy? no it doesn't kill sperm cells. the only thing that kills spems is a disease and cold weather. So you don't have to worry about it. If it was true, mountain dew wouldn't have been passed by the FCC (( or w.e the organization is called )).

My last periods date was on 12/04/06 till date I have no symptoms of that again, I had urine test twice in a week for pregnancy both are negative. I have been to doctor and took a course(pills) for 5 days for geeting the periods back. Now it is 7th day after the first day of the course but there are no periods.Another thing is that I used to have irregular periods.What might be the reason. (link)

The reason that this is happening is probably just because you used to be irregular. it also could be if you have had a lot of stress lately, it can make your period really late. Also, the older you get, the more your period starts to come later or slower. It could just be genetics too, talk to your mom and ask her if something similar happened to her.

I'll try to keep this short but...
My friend had two of her ideas for a final project shot down and was very upset about it. The teacher said no to the ideas because they were too similar to things we had already done in class. (It's an art class.)
Now my friend is just working on a final project, without approval, and it's exactly like something we have already done! I don't know why she doesn't grasp this. (Worse then that, she is copying almost precisely what I did for that project.)
She is now very defensive about the whole thing, but time is running out and I feel like I just have to tell her that this is a problem. I'm worried our professor will fail her; I know I would if I were the professor.
So how can I explain this without crushing her? I can't believe she doesn't realize it, but I can't figure out why she is acting this way. (link)

jus come right out and tell her how you feel. If she keeps doing what shes doing she'll fail, and neither of you wants that to happen im sure. Maybe she's acting like this because she thinks that the teacher hates her and stuff... Or maybe YOU can suggest some ideas for her to do, that way she doesnt feel like you're telling her what NOT to do.
Another thing, let her know that by using somehting you already did... could make him think she cheated and get you guys BOTH in a lot of trouble, even if it's onyl similar

I am also one of the oldest out of my firends (cuz i was born in 91 and everyone else born in 92 but whatever) I play 3 sports and i am wondering of something is wrong with me? i am 15 years old and i am a female. get haircuts regularly and dont damage it by straightening it or curling it... anything invloving a lot of heat on your hair. if you want to or have to straighten it or something, buy some protecting gel. Ask a hairdresser to suggest some types for your specific hair

I know this sounds incredibly stupid, but I am terrified of spiders! Everytime I see one near me, or even up in the wall in my room, I freak. I know this is considered a phobia, but as far as illnesses go...? I feel like when I see one they're on me all over and I have to get it off. Is there anything I can do about this? (link)

I honestly feel the same way. If theres a spider in the room i cant sleep at night... and im DEATHLY afraid of them. Likee i scream bloody murder and people have to kill them for me.
Anyway the point is, there are TONS of people afraid of them... and when I see them i start flipping outt cause it feels likee there are a million of them crawling all over me. So dont worry its normal =]

It's not her fault. Some people are just egotistical... dont let her get to you... but don't try to go out of your way to humiliate her either. Let her think what she wants, shell find out on her own that she isn't.
As for her mom, all parents tell their kids they're the best at everything the kid does, even if they suck. So dont worry about it

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 1/2 months. Before we started going out, we were really great friends. He was my best friend. And I have a STD, HIV actually. I got it from birth because my mother had to get a blood transplant and back in 1986 they didnt check blood for HIV and such, we've been talking about being intimate with eachother. I am 15 and I need to tell him before we have sex. I need help on the following things:
1.) How to tell him: What should I say? Should I have my sister whos like my best friend be there with us?
2.) When should I tell him?
3.) How do I handle the thoughts of being rejected and trusting him?
He is my best friend and I trust him and I talked to him and have told him that I have something I'd like to discuss with him and I made him guess on what it was and he said "is it a genetically passed STD?" and I did not say anything.

i am a sophmore in highschool and im starting to get really nervous about my grades and my future. i havent been doing so good this year but ive been passing. i heard the junior year counts the most? well im not in the smart math class but im in academic, well the second academic class so its not a "dumb class" or a "smart class" im passing so would i be able to get in college with that class? i failed my math class last year and never made it over and i was never asked to, if i dont make it up i wont get credits to college, correct? i have no idea what to do im really nervous! im starting to just do really well and starting to do good this term and i want to follow through for next year too.. help please (link)

all the highschool years are important but freshman is the most important. im worried about colege 2, cause im a freshman. math and science are the classes that you need 2 do good in especially for girls. spanish and a computer class is good 2 you can get in colege with bad grades as long as you try hard now rae
