If you are allergic to FD&C Yellow, you could have an allergic reaction. But it will not kill sperm.
A teaspoon full of ejaculatory fluid can contain between 200 & 500 Million sperm.
Guess how many it takes to fertilize an egg and make a baby? (just one)
Don't count on "less chance", unless you have a vasectomy and have a 0 sperm count..... ]
I'm almost positive that mountain dew doesn't kill sperm cells, but if it does, it will kill i miniscule amount of them, hardly enough to prevent a girl from getting pregnant. hope this helps

no it doesn't kill sperm cells. the only thing that kills spems is a disease and cold weather. So you don't have to worry about it. If it was true, mountain dew wouldn't have been passed by the FCC (( or w.e the organization is called )). ]
Hah, I found this question kind of funny and interesting. I looked it up for you... here's the paragraph that had the answer
Mountain Dew (Yes, the soda) There are all sorts of beliefs about Mountain Dew. Some people believe that it lowers a man’s sperm count. Others believe it causes sterility. Some people believe it will cause the testicles and penis to shrink. None of this is true. The dye used to make Mountain Dew (Yellow No. 5) is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and has been used since 1916.16-19 ]
Dear Mountain Dew,
Cultural myths continue from generation to generation, no matter what. In my day, it was Coke & Pepsi, so please don't let these uninformed facts replace common sense when it comes to birth control!
The numbers of babies born to youth under 18 years of age is absolutely staggering, so please don't add to these statistics! Do the responsible thing and use a condom (for HIV protection too), and have your partner use birth control gel or foam, if she's not using anything. Both of these products can be purchased at your local grocery or drug store.
If you are interested, you could do an internet search on birth control methods which would answer any questions about which methods are the most effective, etc. You could also visit (or call) your local Planned Parenthood Clinic for more information. At any rate, if you are having sex, do the responsible thing and USE BIRTH CONTROL.
Take Care,
Earth Mother ]
No. Mountain Dew does NOTHING to sperm, and you should NEVER EVER use it for birth control. It won't work. ]
well it is true but you have to drink alot of mountain dew... prob atleast 5 bottles of it. and sperm lives in the body for a while. so you would have to drink the mountain dew about 2 weeks before you have sex.. its very complicated and really not worth your time ]
It's clearly derived from an urban legend.

So drinking Mountain Dew will not reduce the chances of pregnancy in any measurable way, unless it rots your teeth so much that you can't get a date. :D
But perhaps you're asking if douching with Mountain Dew would reduce the odds of pregnancy? That would be a really bad idea for many reasons. It would be MUCH smarter to use real birth control.
If you're female, talk to your OB/GYN about birth control options. If you're male, get some condoms and learn how to use them correctly. That's not a bad idea if you're a girl, either, because condoms are the only birth control method that protects from STDs - except for abstinence, of course.
And if you're underage, I strongly urge you to WAIT. Not because it's "better" to wait, but because until your body and brain have really matured, early sex is likely to be both disappointing and cause serious damage to your sexuality for the rest of your life.
Not to mention the chance of pregnancy, which is often a disaster for teens. ]
