i really like this kid and he really really really lyks me but everytime i show interest in him he acts lyk he doesnt want anything to do with me.. i've told him he acts weird and he just says he doesnt know.. im just getting over an ex boyfriend that i loved with everything and now im just gunna end up heart broken again

You are still getting over a relationship, it sounds as though you are too emotional to start a new one. Give yourself some time, it's ok to be single.

i just brought my dog to the vet because of a heart attack. i was told she has heart enlargement. she is 13 years old. is there hope for her? or is she too old to recover?

13 years is old for a dog. Of course we all hope she will live as long as possible, but unfortunatly dogs have short lives. What does your vet say? Of course you should do everything you can to help her. But if she is going to be in pain the rest of her life, it may be more humane to put her down. You really should be talking to your vet about your options, and what is best for her.

I would suggest calling the childrens hospital and asking them specifically what they need or can accept. There still may be time this year to help.

I am 16 years old and a female and I like this guy who is two years younger than me. I am afraid to commit to a relationship with him because of the fear of being mocked by my peers. Should I give him a chance or should I look for someone closer to my age?

Normaly I would say age doesn't matter. I am 2 years older then my husband. But this BOY is only 14. He is still a kid, and personally I think is too young to be dating anyone. Take things slow and just have fun together, there is no need to be in a commited relationship at your age.

I have a problem and I don't know how to go and fix it. My brother had a motorcycle accident in june 2005 and he lost his apartment because he couldn't work. He has healed and now he's working and he's been here for almost six months now. I have given him until then end of December to be out but he's not putting in any effert to look for a place. I some advice to get him out with out making him hate me. I am married and have three children to take care of. Plus since he's working he's not giving anything toward the rent and stuff like that. Hope someone can help.

You brother is taking advantage of you. It's time to stop being nice, or worry about hurting his feelings. He is obviously not worried about yours.

Give him the newspaper or book of apartment listing. Maybe even circle some good choices. It's time to let him know you are serious. Continue to remind him that end of December IS the deadline of when he has to be out because you can no longer financially support him.

Eat healthy. Stop drinking pop and eating junk and fast food. There is no need to go on a diet at your age. You will still loose that extra fat if you eat right. And try some regular exercise.

People won't make fun of you if you say you want to start eating healthier.

I really do not care for nylons, but i really do not care for dresses either. My husband bought me this wonderful dress (which i totally love)for his christmas party next month. it shows my legs from the knees down, and i was told nylons are like a huge fashion don't now. problem is my legs are whiter then casper's! I do not waste my time tanning -- just does not work for me. could you give me some advice on nylons? thanks

I use to work in the accessories department and was always glad to help people who were overwhelmed. Go to a department store and have someone help you find a good pair. Many nylons look so natural it doesn't even look like you are wearing them. Get a name brand, you will feel much more comfortable than a scratchy cheap pair. And for you I would sugest a nutural/natural color. They have samples of colors you can strech out over your arms. And get two pairs so you have a back up. You never know when you are going to get a run.

It's my boyfriends 21st birthday in about 3 weeks and i want to get him something really special, i was going get him some kind of gadget but i've decided its not special enough.

Engraving is actually cheaper than you would think. You just need to make sure the watch has a flat blank surface. Most places that engrave sell items (like watches) that are perfect for engraving. I think that is a great gift idea.

There is nothing wrong with you. You are just waiting for the right guy! I think it's sweet, and a lot better than some girl that makes out with every boy she meets.

To make you feel better, I didn't have my first kiss until I was 20. And I am now happily married.

You are only 13. Do you expect your father to treat you like an adult? In my eyes you are still a kid, and by no means ready to have sex. If your not able to handle the responsibilites that come with sex the you shouldn't be having it!

Would you want your daughter having sex at 13? No.

And no matter what your age, if a boy/guy is going to dump you becasue you won't have sex, then that's a really good clue he doesn't really care about you. He cares about sex.

I’m 13, in the 8th grade, and have a guilty pleasure. I’ve been raised in an intellectual household, with both parents having a Ph.D. Generally, I don’t watch T.V. So I was at my friend’s sleepover birthday party with 7 other girls, and she rented the First Season of the O.C. We watched 4 episodes---and I liked it! I feel kind of guilty, because I know that technically, the show is for advertising and eye-candy with a plot. But I can’t help it. Enjoying a few hours of TV a week is not a sin. I find it very relaxing. I watched the entire first season of Desperate Housewives over a weekend while I was home sick.

Having a favorite TV show is a very normal thing. Don't feel bad for enjoying it. It's not like all you do is watch TV. It's just ONE show!

As for your sex question. Unless you are 100% sure it's what you want, don't do it. Simple.

If you can not handel the responsibilities that come with sex, the you should not be having it. Especially with some boy that 'humps' you. He sounds very mature.

Well it's not like you are going to be able to keep it a secret for long anyways. But if someone asks, tell them it's none of their bussiness.

And I would tell the person who blabed that you are very dissapointed they couldn't keep your secret that you trusted her with. That kind of news should have only been shared with others when you were prepared to give it. This now puts you under even more stress than before.

My dogs just chased a Ups man (lol) and he ran for his life. I got my dogs calmed down and I told him I was very sorry. But what can I do to prevent this in the future? I have 2 House Dogs (that stay outside!) and 1 other 'old' dog that bit a boy one time. So what Can I do?? Thanks!

Your dogs are just a lawsuit waiting to happen. You need to have them leashed or fenced in. If I was your UPS man, I would report you to animal control. I don't think it's funny at all. If you are unable to control your dogs, you should look into obediance training.
