Q: I'm taking English with the most annoying people on earth. They frustrate me to death, and I strongly believe that some of their oppinions that come through our class-disscussions are wrong. My teacher on the other hand agrees with them and says I need to realize that my way of seeing things is..well, a minority. And that the majority of people would agree with my class. So, I need to find out what YOU guys think, honestly, don't agree with me for a high rating, dont disagree to piss me off, just give me YOUR HONEST OPINION PLEASE.
Because I don't want anyone to agree with me for the sake of a high rating, I wont tell you what my opinion was, I'll simply ask for yours, that's fair right? So.. my teacher said "I think that a society like ours that makes economy such a high priority in the end looses it's humanism" and then let us discuss this quote. What are your opinions about this? Do you agree? Or can you find examples that show that that's not quite true?

I think that if society like ours makes economy such a high priority, it will lose its humanity in the end.
That can be frustrating. Ask me privately. I want to hear your opinion on this. I think both sides would have good arguments. Our society is still functioning. Although it is not perfect, capitalism is still the best system.. at least better than communism. But that is just my opinion. Economic communism is not that bad as social communism but capitalism works for America fine. People can work their way up. That is why immigrants still come to the United States. That, freedom, and democracy are pretty good so far.

Q: Ok I am not fat, but I have gained a lot of weight since the beginning of the year from stress of school and things like that and I am still gaining more and more.
Summer is almost here, and I really want to "wow" everyone at my school next year. I don't want to like starve myself, I just want to start eating a lot healthier and maybe go on daily jogs around my neighborhood.
I need to know of good/bad things to eat. so if someone could help me out a little, that would be appreciated. :)

I heard that people lose the fat that they recently gained. Your recent weight gain can be from anywhere. Also, yes you cannot spot reduce fat. Running is good for the body overall and it will take a long time for you to lose your butt weight.
Like WiseAl says, genetics does play a factor in how you lose weight. Sometimes you cannot do anything about your "big butt". Women tend to have weight around the butt and stomach too.
I think what you wear is important. This is probably not advice you want, but clothes can disguise a butt and make it appear smaller.
And lots of guys like big butts.

You can curl your ponytail and make it wavy. It would not look bad. Or add accessories to make it look like you made an effort. Things like headbands or bows may help, if they sound like your style.
Or put your hair into an updo! You can start with a ponytail then twist it up into a bun and let one bang hang down from your face. Ask your mom.

You sound like me. I am still stuck in total unsatisfaction. I think we have to appreciate the small things in life. And make better changes to our lifestyles. Get a social life, meet new people, keep up with your contacts, resolve problems - don't let them go unsaid. Get hobbies, exercise, keep busy, etc.
