I'm a new young mom who has a lot of things to say to whomever is willing to listen :). I promise not to judge you no matter how crazy you may think your questions are and I will give the best answer I possibly can!

Okay... well... I have never had a relationship. Ever. And I know it isn't bad that I haven't, but I always feel so low about myself because I don't. All my friends say I'm pretty and that guys like me, but I really don't think so. Now I put this under love life for a reason.
Is there any possible way for picky me to find someone. I'm shy, and I like some guys but do not know how to approach them.
And if you don't have any relationship advice for me, could someone at least help me be more confident in myself? I'm tired of feeling low all the time.

honestly, look in the mirror and say OUT LOUD the things you like about yourself. It might seem corny, but it works. that, or write everything you like about yourself personality OR looks and keep it in a safe place then look at in when you're feeling down.

and the way to be more confident around boys is to ACT confident. Just ACT like you know what your doing and have fun with it. Be yourself, not some fake girl who forgets who she REALLY is. : ]

I was watching 'what not to wear', which gives you ALOT of tips on this kind of stuff. and Actually, they said that Oils make your skin look healthier, and it keeps your hair looking healthier too.

I met this guy in like, February. Freaking awesome. He was totally hitting on me and he was always smiling. We hooked up that night. I gave him my number, just to see if he would call me. 2 weeks later he did. He said he enjoyed his time with me and wanted to hand out again. We tried to get together for 4 months, but nothing worked. I won't get into detail on that. Everytime I talk to him, he ALWAYS makes me smile and feel wonderful about myself. He said he appreciates it when I call and when I talk to him. He said he doesn't care what other people think. He said that he really likes me and wanted to be more than friends. Well we became more than friends. Ever since then I've been feeling like I love him, not like him. I mean like really love him. My horoscopes make perfect sense, my intuition is leading me in the right direction, and I've been oh so happy. I told him that he makes me feel like I'm worth something and he said, "You deffinately are." He helped me get through a tough time, and he helped me stop cutting. I helped him stop smoking...for a while, and he's just perfect for me. I just don't know how to tell him I want to date him. plus, my dad doesn't like this at all, and i want him to understand. Any ideas? SORRY IT WAS SO LONG.

THAT IS SOOOO cute : ). it takes a person you REALLY care about to make you stop cutting(trust me i know). I think you should DEFINTLY tell him you love him! it might take some bravery but i think you should. i think it would be really sweet to say it in person but if your dad is really striked about that then on the phone say something like "*name* I just want to let you know that I really care about you and over the time that weve been together I realize that I love you" from what it sounds he loves you too. then after you say that then ask him out.

about the dad thing, just talk to him about it. dads arnt really easy to get the idea of their daughter dating inside their heads but i feel like you can do it if you try. tell him that you arnt a little girl anymore and that you think your responsable enough to handle a relationship.

ok listen, from experience, if your friends say to stay away from him, it probably means that you should. I know it may not seem like it but sometimes if we want to beleive something so bad then we do. your only 13 and if he got mad because you wouldnt let him "bang" you then he really isnt the type of guy to hang out with. im not saying people cant change but most likely if it involves negitive peer peressure then you should stay away. hope i helped.

I have this really good friend. Today was her first swim meet of the summer and I went to support her with our other best friend. About half way through the meet we went for a walk outside to cool off. We missed the rest of the meet, including two races that our friend scored first place in. Her mom got after us, but her mom was done being mad before we were done being guilty, so now we still feel guilty and our friend is still mad. I need to do something really big to apologize to her. Any suggestions?

one time I got REALLY mad at my friend and she wrote me a long note saying sorry, why she was sorry, why it happend, and how much i meaned to her as a friend. : ). it made me feel awesome and i forgave her. you should write her one too. and if you want to make it really good get her some chocolate to go with it or something. or if you have a pic of you and her, frame it and give it to her. hope i helped ♥ cookierat123

Okay. This guy. We have been talking alot lately. Late into the night. I left for a week, and when I cam back, he moved on. A whole new group of friends and everything. I dont know. I thought we were going to hit it off, we were flirting like crazy. Now we havent talked at all, and he is flirting with many other girls. I should of seen it earlier, he was really interested in me, now it seems he is isnt. Now i am interested in him, I guess because i cant have him now. What do I do?

I've been singing for about 7 years now, and I think it's time I started taking voice lessons. My mom insists that I have no natural talent. She's only heard me once, and at the time, I was so nervous that I didn't sound good. My mom said that if I had natural talent, then it would show up when I was a little kid. However, my choir teacher tells me I'm an incredible singer, and she's the type that never lies to make someone feel good. When I was a little kid, my chest voice wasn't so great and I didn't know how to use my head voice. I'm 13 right now, and a mezzo-soprano (though I have almost a three octave range). So do you have to be talented as a little kid to be a talented singer?

of course not. as you get older your voice changes. when i was little i had a high pitched voice that bugged the crap out of everyone and now my voice is lower than that. so now its easier for me to sing. your voice probablly just changed. and if your teacher says that your a great singer then im guessing you really are.

Okay, I'll try to make this short. I've liked this guy for months and one day in math I got a question right and he started going on and on about how smart I was. Then another day in S.S, I graded his test and he didn't study and he got a 92. Then he held out his arms and said give me a hug, so I hugged him. Then in Language, he was talking and looking at me a lot more than usual.

this might sound weird but just feel around for your vagina and then put it in. what helped me is i focused on something else bc the first time you put it in is kinda weird. just hold the sides of the tampon and gradually push it up there. then push in the bottom. some ppl think its eaisier to stand up and put it in. just remember to spread your legs apart. i hope i helped

I think you should just tell her straight up that you like her. Girls like that. Just write her a note saying how much you like her(girls LOVE that) and then ask her if she will go back out with you at the end of it. since you wrote it on a note it wont be as akaward and she'll probably will think its really cute : ). hope i helped ; ).

so for starters -- we'll call me jen, and my boyfriend jim. jim asked me out, and for some reason i knew that everything would be really awkward. since we're friends, and turning into more than that is weird. but we dont act like boyfriend - girlfriend people do, or, we havent gotten a chance to since he just asked me out last night ... but whenver we talk online & say goodbye it just ends as 'kk bye' or 'g2g bb' or something with no meaning. and we have nothing to talk about lately, mainly because of pressure, even thought im not sure what from. we were talking about clocks today. yes, clocks. and it all seems so, artificial. and i just want to break up with him, but if i do that, we probably won't be friends. any ideas? not sure what about -- just, ideas. or opinions. thanks xx.

hun, first off i would like to say im sorry, because this is a really sticky situation. If you like him more than a friend then i think you should stay with him. When me and by boyfriend started going out it was just like that. you shouldnt just start out like "o i love you! bye!" because then it wont last very long and when you say "i love you" then it wouldnt have any meaning. since you guys were friends before i think you should take it sloooow. in my opinion, you should always be friends before you go out with someone. but if you just went out with him because he is your friend and you didnt want to hurt his feelings then i sugest that you end it now. its not fair to him or to you. i hope i helped! ♥ Leah

how do you know when it's time to end a relationship? how do you know if its just a rocky time in the relationship or if its falling apart?

im going to make this kinda short. if you dont feel "it" anymore, and by it i mean liking him/her, then you should probably end it. but if you think that its just something your feeling right now and you know that you'll start feeling "it" again soon then stay together because you'll problably regreat it.
