i have tried reading the directions on how to insert a tampon, but im still not sure where to insert it....
like where in ur vagina?
im too scared that ill put it in wrong, please help

You can feel for the right place and just push it in gently, if you meet resistance, stop and try a slightly different angle. It should be so comfortable when you've done it correctly, you should not be able to feel it there. It's hard to put it in the wrong place as there is little alternative. It is difficult the first time, but after a bit of practice you'll be fine.

cookierat123 answered Thursday May 4 2006, 8:41 pm: this might sound weird but just feel around for your vagina and then put it in. what helped me is i focused on something else bc the first time you put it in is kinda weird. just hold the sides of the tampon and gradually push it up there. then push in the bottom. some ppl think its eaisier to stand up and put it in. just remember to spread your legs apart. i hope i helped [ cookierat123's advice column | Ask cookierat123 A Question ]

try getting the tampons with the directions with pictures on them! that really helps me
and youll know right away if its wrong and alls you have to do is take it out
