ok...there's this guy that i might hook up with but i'm still not sure that i will but he was asking me if we hooked up if i would ever have sex with him and i said i didnt know...i dont know what to do because i dont think im ready for sex yet and honestly im scared...i want to tell him that im not ready but i dont know how he will react..

I think that 14 is WAY too young for sex in modern times (A long time ago, it is encouraged for someone your age to start a family!) But if you're not ready, then don't do it. Tell him that. He won't freak out, he'll just be like "Oh, ok..." And that's about it. Now, please wait, because, there are so many teen pregnantcies, and a lot of these young mother's don't want the child, so the child get's aborted. Or all of these STDs that go arond. You shouldn't have to go through that drama.

I swear I'm not trying to brag, I'm 13 and only like 70 pounds, I sit in front of my computer all day, I eat a bunch of crap food, I go to McDonalds all the time, but you can still see my spine through the front. How can I gain weight? I rate high usually, but smartass answers will just result in me asking "Why do you suck so much?" as one of those personal questions.

You have a fast matabolism. However, it'll be better for you to get in the habit of eating healthier and working out. (you don't have to be fat or old to have a heart attack) You should start running and lift weights to build muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Good luck! I'm working on the same thing.

With the money I get for my birthdy next month I plan to buy some sort of MP3 player. I have been researching it on google. I have come to, two different MP3 players I might consider buying. Zen Micro 4GB or the iPod Mini 4GB. My boyfriend has a iPod mini but I don't know if that is what I want because I'm always hearing people complain about them including my b/f. So before buying either of these do any of you know any pros or cons of either products? any help will be very appreciated. Also of there is any thing tha you feel is better than these products let me know

Get the Zen Micro. You're basically getting the same thing, except cheaper! Plus, it looks so much cooler, and I think that there are more colors to choose from.

In North Carolina, 16 with a parent, and 18 alone. I'm not sure if state fair tattoos are permanent though. You might want to go to a tattoo parlor.

This is how it's like at my school

Prep: The people who have cash and nice clothes. The typical popular group. Ever see a group of people in a crowd (usually in a circle, and almost ALL of them are white)? Prep!

Goth: People who wear a lot of black, and a lot of dark makeup. Peircings, colored/spiked hair.

Emo: They also wear dark colors, usually have long hair over their face. Emotional, hence the name "emo"

Posers: People who wear skate clothes but don't skate

Skaters: They usually belong to the Preps as well. They skate and wear skate clothes

Ballers: The BLACK people with cash and wear nice clothes and have bling.

Playas: Those who can get with girls immedietly, one after another. They are smooth with the ladies and can spit some serious game.

Punk: Cross between skater, goth, emo, and sometimes prep.

Wanderers: This is what I am. I, not nessessarily, don't belong and belong at the same time. Friends with everyone or no one. You either know them or don't know them.

I'm 17 and female, and I've known my best friend Thomas for nearly a year. We hang out all the time, even stay the night at one another's houses every now and then.
Well, right now I'm house-sitting for him while he's on a trip. I stayed the night here the other night so I wouldn't have to have my mom drive me over at 7:00 in the morning. So we're up at three in the morning talking about everything, like we always do when we sleep over. And then he kissed me... and told me that he loves me.
I have a boyfriend who I love very much, and I just don't care about Thomas in the way that he cares about me. But I somewhat returned the kiss. As a matter of fact... we kind of kissed a lot. Mostly the sweet, peck type, but a little (and I do mean a little) tongue every now and then. When it was all over and we both regained our senses, I cried. When he said he loved me, I said, "Don't say that." We talked about it a little, but then decided that we'll really have a long talk when he gets back from his vacation.
So I have a few questions. First of all, did I cheat on my boyfriend? I've never done anything like this... I don't know if it's cheating. I don't ever want to tell my boyfriend that it happened -- he'll break up with me and it was all just a huge mistake and I regret that it happened (even though it brought a lot of stuff to the surface -- I didn't even know Thomas liked me). When I talk to Thomas, what should I say? I don't want to hurt his feelings, and I don't want to ruin our awesome friendship. But I want him to know that I don't care about him the way he does about me, and I don't want him to hate me for this. Please help me.

Well, I'd like to reassure you that you did NOT cheat on your boyfriend, at least in my opinion. Being good friends for an a while will develop deeper feelings for one another. It could develop mutually, or in this case, one or the other develops deeper feelings. Your short time with each other could mean that you are both very comfortable around each other. Or you both like each other, but since you already have a boyfriend, it can't be possible. (I'm saying that you could like him subconsciously)

When Thomas said that he loved you, well, it could be true. I'll give you an example. I've been best friends with this guy for over 3 years. (I'm male too) I love him like he was my brother. If he was a female, I could fall in love.

Thomas could have fallen in love with you because... Well, why do you and your boyfriend go out with each other? Because of similar intrests and physical attraction I assume. Well, why are you friends with Thomas? I'm assuming because of similar intrests and maybe more.
Thomas just developed an attraction to you while you haven't. That could change. You could end up liking him, and he not liking you anymore.

When you do talk to Thomas, just be honest with him. But DO NOT say that you "don't care about him the way he does about you" If you think about it, It does sound hurtful (ex. "I don't care about you...) Instead, you should say, "I like you a lot, but you're like a brother to me. I don't want to ruin our friendship." or something along those lines. He'll feel bummed out for awhile. (I know, I was in a similar situation, except a bit more complicated...) But he'll get over it eventually.

How do I get files from my brother's iTunes onto the Windows Media Player? I buy my music through iTunes but i have an iriver. I know I can put the music onto a cd and then put it back in the computer but that takes up to many cds and time!

Well I'm not sure becaus I don't have iTunes. You could go to the place where its actually saved onto the computer (its in the C: drive and in some other files.) It should list all of the music you downloaded. Hold down "ctrl" and press "A". It should select all of the files on the list. If you just want to select a few files hold down "ctrl" and click the files you want with the mouse. After you selected the music you want to put onto Windows Media Player, right click, go to "open with" and select Windows Media Player. Hopefully it works. Good luck!

What is the differnece between Catholic, Lutheren and Christian religions? I want to know about the differences befor i pick one.

Well, Christian is both Catholic and Lutheren and more. I can tell you the difference between Catholic and Lutheren. Catholic has been existing longer. A long, LONG time ago, If you were Catholic, you were Christian. Luthern is the first church to break away from the Catholic religion. I suggest Catholic because I'm Catholic, and every other Christian religion came from the Catholic, with a few changes. Anyway, it's your choice.

Hi my name is Bill. Im 15 and I currently attend a christian church. As a baby my parents werent married, my mom ran away, my dad couldnt afford a baby soo he left me with his parents. I grew up with my grandparents till right before my 15th b-day when my grandma died from carcinoid cancer. after that i weant to live with my dad. instead of being distanced from God I feel closer. my pastor said im the strongest person he's met. what does he mean by that? by the way i want to go to olivet collage and become a youth pastor myself.

can anybody tell me the difference between karate and tae kwon do please and which invovles more kicking and punching

Oh yeah! The quesition I've been waiting for! I'm a second degree blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do. Tae Kwon Do deals with more kicking while Karate deals with more punching. I suggest to take Tae Kwon Do because the legs are harder to work with. Plus, the legs are longer and 3 times stronger than the arm. Have anymore questions, then visit my Column. Good Luck!

Well i have a boyfriend and i love him to death. We've been together for over 3 months and ever since ive knwn him he never EVER talks about his problems.
If i know somehtings wrong he'll say things like.."Its not important" or "Its nothing" when i can seeeee that its bothering him a lot. I want him to know that he doesnt need to act all tough around me. And i need him to know that he can talk to me about anything. I just dont know what to say to him.
Ive tried the usual..."you know im always here for you" and all that and he says he knows but it doesnt change anything.
Do you guys have anything i could say or do that would get him to know that im always there...and ready to listen?

I saw that someone said that he could be protecting you from someting or he's embarrised. Those are good reasons why he won't talk. Also, a lot of us guys do like to stay strong in front of our women. It's sorta like, we know that we can take care of you. Staying physically, and emotionally strong reassures that we can take anything... Well this is kind of hard to answer, because I haven't felt that way in a long time. But I hope I helped.

Ok, I have a laptop. Dell, Inpiron 5160. It comes with a wireless card. You can buy wireless laptops from electronic stores, or websites. I suggest websites because you can customize. Just make sure your laptop has at least a 60GB hard drive (so you can save a lot of stuff onto your laptop) and 512 MB of RAM (so that your laptop will run faster) As for paying internet service... Well I have Cable internet, so I had to get a broadband router (additional $40-$60) I'm pretty sure you pay for it the same way as if it were a regular computer. Hope I helped!

I have no freedom. I am never allowed to go over to friends houses, unless I've known that friend for a really long time and my mom knows their parents real good. They never let me go to birthday parties and they refuse to let me even go near a water park even in the day time because they are soooo "dangerous." I have to read an hour a day too. Please don't tell me to talk to them calmly about it. I already tried, but my mom is so mean and hurtful. What can I do?

Well, it may be because of your age. Your parents may be overprotective, not dictative. However, never letting you go to birthday parties or waterparks does sound pretty extreme. As for reading an hour a day... It's not so bad, and its good for you. Hmm... I'm not sure how to answer this, because I don't know the whole story, and I don't know your age... So I'll answer as best as I can.

(I wanna tell you what I would do... but it may not be responsible... Anyway here it goes) If I was in that situation, I would go to waterparks and birtday parties anyway. But PLEASE don't do that. I would do that because I'm 17, and I know how to protect myself.

This would be more responsible. You HAVE to talk to your parents. Your parent's may not want you to go to friends' houses becaus they don't want you to have bad influences (drug use, drinking, smoking, stealing, messing with property, etc.)

Your parents may also think that waterparks are too dangerous. Tell them that riding in a car with them is also dangerous. Tell them that they can't be with you forever and eventually, they will have to let walk on your own two feet. You will also have to prove to them that you are responsible enough to do all those things. It might take a little time, but eventually, you will gain the independence you desire. Well, I have been VERY depressed lately about different things. My dad makes me really mad. I'm tired of being depressed. I can't get to sleep at night. I hate it. My best friend is wonderful and she tries to help me. But nothing works. EVER! I feel so bad because she tries her best. I love her so much for helping me. I'm just.. I don't know. I'm always sad.
