13/f.Recently, I've been classified as a prep. Nothing else just a prep.And to tell you the truth, I don't like it. I like to watch Anime, I love flippy hair, I don't know. That's not prep at all. I tried talking to my friend's about it, and they think it's a sign of becoming emo. And I have absolutly no problem with that, but I'm afraid it might change my relationship's with alot of people. But then I suppose they're not your true friends, correct? Also, this has become to be a bit of a problem because since they guy I like is in fact emo, my friend's think that he's changing me. But it's not him changing me. I'm changing myself. I'm not doing it on purpose, my tastes are just changing. My 8th grade school year is more than likely going to turn out a peice of crap because I'm too busy trying to find my self in the middle of school work, boys, friends, and my family.

Is there any advice you have that might solve my problem? I'm so stuck and I've been crying alot lately because I'm so worried. Is something wrong with me or what?

This isn't what you want to hear, but that usually doesn't stop me because it's the truth.

Labels like "prep" and "emo" are stupid. I mean I understand that as humans, we really have to classify people into groups, but I find terms like prep and emo to be so juvinielle.

Be who you want to be. Whether it's someone who's preppy or someone who's emotional, it has to be you. People change. No one remains the same forever. You even said it yourself, those who turn on the new you aren't your real friends. Your 8th grade year won't be a piece of crap. And no one can change you. They can influence you, but change will always come from inside yourself. If you're happy with yourself, that's all that matters.

On MTV, there's a new commercial for the season premiere of the Hills.

It basically explains the whole Heidi/Lauren broken friendship thing, haha. But there's a song in the background, and I really wanna know if anyone knows who sings it and what's the name of it. All I remember is that at one part, when there was actually no talk, it said "all good things..come to an end" or something.

okay so im only thirteen. but yesterday or two days ago..i dont remmeber...my boyfriend and i made out for the first time, and he really liked it and i did too i guess but he kept making out with me in public or like in front of his friends, and i dont know if hes because he really wants to make out with me, or he wants to show off to his friends. and i dont like to make out with him in front of people, because i dont really like having an "audience", but at the same time i dont mind because i love kissing him. how should i tell him that and how should i figure out if hes just trying to show off or not?

Basically, he's trying to show off. Simply tell him you don't like making out in front of other people. If he doesn't like it, break up with him because that means he's just using you.

I'm 16/f, scene hair (puffy ontop, stright and long at the bottom) It's dark dark brown and I'm going to colour it so I have a different colour (probably blonde) in part of my fringe and stripes in one side of my hair so it looks like a raccoons tail. Ive looked everywhere but I cant find any photos online of hair like that to show my hairdresser. Can someone help me out?

Why not go? If you're completely paranoid about dirty people lurking around movie theatres, just leave your cell on. If you don't have a cell that's ok too. Plenty of people go to the movies alone.

kay i guess these are typical highschool questions but PLEASE answer them.
- what should I bring on the 1st day?
- Should I carry a backpack or a messenger bag type thing?
- Is it easy to find your classes? If not, any tips?
- On the 1st day we have lunch. Should I buy my lunch or bring it in a paper bag?

- I am taking a sort of remediate math. What are the people like in remediate classes? Are they all druggies and such?

-Notebook, pens, pencils, and just something to carry that around in. You don't need much.

-It really doesn't matter. Whatever you prefer. If ou have a lot of books, I'd suggest a backpack.

-Depends on the school you go to. It's always confusing on your first day. However, people always seem to walk into the wrong classes, at least in my school. Also, people would be happy to help you.

-It doesn't matter whether you buy it or bring it. I usually buy food because I find it easier. If you have any food allergies a bagged lunch would probably be better on the first day, at least.

-Make new friends! Find a group of people that seem nice and ask if you can eat with them.

-Generally, no. Most people just have a little extra trouble. On the other hand, in my school you'll find a handful of druggies in any class that isn't honors. But most schools aren't like that.

How do you feel pretty when you're completely different from everyone else?

I can't help but pick my flaws out. I'm not fair skinned or have that off the beach tan. I have big eyes but not big eyelids. My eyebrows are small. My hair is dark brown as well as my eyes.

Everyone seems so attractive to blondes, big eyes, colored eyes.. tans.. just so pretty..

and I feel like a child because I look different :( i don't know how to think differently.. I've been told I'm attractive.. but there's so many people that look similar and I feel out of the loop. But then again, I don't care much to be in it. I just feel like I'm there and unworthy to be a model.

I'm not going to tell you to wear more make-up because that isn't what you need. You are beautiful the way you are. What you need is how to except yourself.

Sit in front of a mirror. Write down everything you like about yourself, physically and mentally. Once a day, or just whenever you're feeling down look over this list. It will boost your confidence.

Really there's no easy way to accept yourself. It's just one day at a time. Just always remember- you are beautiful. I also had trouble accepting what I look like, but now I like myself.

Personally, I've never been one for the stupid teen girly books where the plot is always the exact same romance again and again. So here are my favorites:

-Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuck. It's not for the faint of heart, though. A model gets shot in the face and travels around with Brandy Alexander, a person one surgery away from being a woman, and her ex-boyfriend, stealing OTC drugs from mansions and selling them. She tries to forget her past and reinvent herself.

-The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. This is one of the most amazing books I've ever read. A man named Eddie dies trying to save the life of a little girl. When he gets to heaven he learns he will talk to 5 people from his life that have changed it in one way or another.

-For One More Day by Mitch Albom. Charlie's (the main character) life is out of control. He's a raging alcoholic. After learning his own daughter did not invite him to her wedding, he attempts suicide. He jumps off a water tower, however, it does not work. When he wakes up he sees his mother who died 8 years ago. She teaches him about the mysteries of his life. This book shows that no matter what, a mother's love will overcome all.

-The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. Charlie is a 15 year old boy entering his freshman year of highschool. He's quite a peculiar child. He learns about drugs, sex, and most importantly friendship and how to love.

-To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Classic novel. The narroater is a little girl named Scout. The story deals with racism in the south and Scout's father, Atticus's, attempt to prove a man accused of a crime to be innocent.

-Tuesdays with Maury by Mitch Albom. I've never read it, but it's by my favorite author and said to be amazing. Maury is dying (of cancer I believe). He teaches the main character all about life and how to accept sadness.

Well, This may seem really weird, but I have a HUGE crush on this guy I met online. He has the best hair ever, the cutest smile, really sexy teeth, and a great personality, the only problem is he lives in Australia so I can't be with him. What should I do? I think about him all the time and I can't forget about him.

You should grow a beanstalk. That way you can climb to the top and meet a nice giant. He will either A) kill you or B) buy you a Barbie skateboard. Unless you are not the one who wanted the Barbie skateboard. Then he will simply introduce you to your many, many cousins.

m/13 so my friend and me discovered this new way to inhale aerosols, through toilet paper to get high. i heard people do something like this as well. he said its the ethanol that gets you high. ive tried smoking and this thats all, but i like inhaling much better. he said that it doesnt do anything to you and its not dangerous, so is it? we were inhaling deodrant. it feels like your dizzy and light. i get a kinda head ache after it aswell....

This is quite dangerous. Actually, you are quite lucky you haven't died yet. One third of people who use this method to get high die after the first usage. It's quite important that you stop immediately.

It really depends on how long you've known the person. If you've just met, and you want to kiss already, it should only be a quick peck. If you've known the person for a while tounge would be fine, however, I've always thought that a sweet peck goodbye is cuter.

When making out, just follow your instinct. If you're completely lost just mimic what the other person is doing.

i mean like tons of years ago, when God made people, he made Adam and Eve. Then they had children, who had children with their.. siblings (is that right? i mean nobody else was around.. or was incest okay then?) who had children with THEIR siblings, and so on. so then after tons of years it comes to today.. does that mean that Adam and Eve our are like great great great (etc) grandparents? cause then like everyone in the entire world is related, am i correct? but that confuses me.. because some people say that we all evolved from monkeys. i kinda believe it but i kinda dont, since i am a christian and i believe that God and Jesus are real. I am Christian too, however facts are facts. Actually in CCD they told us that the majority of the Old Testament is not true. Adam and Eve aren't real. As a result, we were not all born from them. I do believe in God, however, I believe in evoltion also.

So where did God come from? Well, this is my theroy. Scientist have proven there are alternate dimensions. I personally believe that God is in one of those dimesons. I'm not sure why or how. Chances are, I'm wrong. No living being will ever really know how God got here.

Satan was once an angel. However, he wasn't good. He wanted power. Therefore, God sent him to hell.

As living humans, we have no way of knowing what Heaven is like. Jesus did not go to heaven and come back. He was resurected and to make it simplier, came back to life. He did not go to heaven. Unfortunately, there is no way for any of us to explain why no one asked Jesus if he knew what heaven was like because we weren't there.

Jesus did not die a second time. When he came out of the tomb, as I mentioned before, he did not go to heaven. He walked around the Earth and preached for 40 days and then ascended into Heaven.

No one knows where heaven and hell are. That is something we find out after death. All we can do until then is choose a religion to follow that we feel explains it the most. What you and I must do as Christinas is believe in the Kingdom of God. However, the majority of your questions cannot be answered in this life.

Think about the facts for a second.

-You are thirteen years old.
-Your boyfriend and you are having sex.
-He has another girlfriend.
-You 3 occasionally have threesomes.
-You feel unloved.

There is something extremely wrong with this picture. First off, you are thirteen years old and have your whole life ahead of you to have sex. Hate to burst your bubble, but chances are you and this guy will not be together forever. I mean, having two girlfriends should really be setting an alarm off in your head. He's going to have to choose one of you eventually. Which brings me to my next point: it may not be you. If your intuition is telling you he likes her better, he probably does. You aren't feeling right in this relationship, therefore, you need to get out.

You are only thirteen years old, and the guy you're dating has another girlfriend. This is not a situation you want to be in. Sure, it may be fun and the like, but you really don't deserve this.

Sweetie, you just need to come out and say it. Chances are she won't find it awkward at all. Young girls are constantly growing, therefore, they are going to need new bras. It's just how you need new pants because you grow out of your old ones. If talking to her face to face is too frieghtening write her a quick note. I'm sure she'd be happy to help.

Darling, you aren't ready for sex. You are 13 years old. You have your whole life ahead of you. Second, you obviously have no idea what you are doing. I'm not going to answer your questions becuase you aren't ready. Yes, you have hormones running around wild. But think about it. Do you even know the first thing about birth control? Judging by your question, you really don't. Wearing a tampon while having sex? That is a very bad idea. Your girlfriend can get pregnant at 13. Do you realize how horrible that would be for her? Chances are, you aren't mentally ready either.

Please, I urge you wait. It will be so much more special and a lot smarter too.
