I'll explain it to you, just by some chance you forgot all the stuff you've learned over the years. GETTING HIGH IS NOT GOOD! There is no safe way to do it. All you're doing by inhaling that stuff, is killing brain cells. Eventually, it'll just kill you. You're thirteen and you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't waste it all away by making stupid decisions. I'm 13 to and getting high isn't cool or hot. Tell the wrong person, and you're gonna end up in rehab. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but it's the truth and its better hear it now then find out to late. I can't choose for you but don't be stupid. Your not only hurting yourself, but everyone else around you to. ♥ fabulous [ x0xfabulous0x's advice column | Ask x0xfabulous0x A Question ]
Erinn_the_bamf answered Thursday July 19 2007, 10:26 am: This is quite dangerous. Actually, you are quite lucky you haven't died yet. One third of people who use this method to get high die after the first usage. It's quite important that you stop immediately.
SoccerCutiex3 answered Thursday July 19 2007, 9:57 am: dont rate me for this. but you have got to stop. whats the point of getting high? do it to much, or wrong, or anything, and you'll be dead. you're only thirteen, and i dont think you want to end up this way in the end. just stop before it gets bad. uisforukelele answered Thursday July 19 2007, 9:43 am: as everybody else said, it can kill you. same thing with sniffing sharpies, paint, and things of that nature that put off a fume. heck, even people who do nails for a living inhale deadly fumes. i suggest that you quit doing that. you and your friend need to find something else to do though. if you want that dizzy/light feeling try drinking red bull (but not often and not more than one per day because it can harm you as well). it makes you feel weird and it doesn't permanently damage your brain. however, it is still an energy drink so there have been studies about energy drinks and teenagers. just quit trying to get high, okay? Michele answered Thursday July 19 2007, 8:38 am: I am sorry to say, but glad to intervene, and tell you that your friend is wrong. inhaling aerosols can be addictive and can end up in yoru death. Read the following article I found on-line
------He was 17.
A Bellmawr resident who had attended Triton Regional High School, Rob died after inhaling, or "huffing," a common household air-freshening product. Addicted to huffing since age 15, he'd been in and out of counseling, and his parents, Ed and Debbie Devine, had done everything they could think of to persuade the youngest of their four kids to get off the poisonous stuff.
But like hundreds of thousands of American kids who seek a cheap and dangerous high by inhaling aerosols, solvents, petroleum products and gases, Rob was hooked.
That he took up the habit again just days after leaving rehab is no knock on treatment - but it does attest to the sometimes lethal power of what is a psychological and in some cases physiological addiction. It claims between 100 and 125 lives a year, according to the National Inhalant Prevention Coalition; an autopsy showed Rob's death was due to cardiac dysrhythmia due to inhalant use, also known as Sudden Sniffing Death.-------------
check out this link. It lists all the other things that can happen besides dieing....
I hope you will take my advice and stop this immediately so that you don't become a statistic.
Google, Sudden Sniffing Death , you'll see that you will get over 300,000 hits. I am glad that you came to this website to ask for adivce, We really hope and pray that you will take it.
