Shaving on top is a lot worse than shaving lower. If you can handle shaving the top then you should have no problem shaving lower. Use conditioner on it every day, and baby oil twice a day and that should help with the itchiness and pain.

Butterfly kisses, you are wrong. An expert columnist is not a moderator, you only need to have answered over 100 questions to become an expert columnist. If you have already answered over 100 questions, then it may take some time before that shows up in the computer.
To become a moderator you have to be a member for a few months and have an average rating of over 4.
The moderators did have a discussion about changing the expert columnist requirements because it is not hard for anyone to answer 100 questions. There are people that can do that in only one day. So, if there is something being done about that, then you might not become labelled as an expert just yet. I do not think you have anything to worry about because I just looked at the expert columnists and the first person joined a few days ago and had quite a bad rating.

I love my dog a ton!!! How can i make it so she lives as long as possible. What can i do to help her?
Feed her the appropriate dog formula, for example, I have a large rottweiler, so I feed him Nutro large breed senior formula. If you have an old dog, feed her senior diet, if she's a puppy, feed her puppy diet. If she has skin problems, they have foods for that also. I also walk my dog at least four times a day to ensure that he gets enough exercise. If your dog is overweight then she will not have as long of a life. Do not feed her people food, especially food that has spices on it, because dogs react much different than humans. Feeding your dog a hamburger from mcdonalds is the equivalent of eating a hamburger shaped tub of lard. DO NOT FEED HER CHOCOLATE. A small amount of chocolate can kill a dog.
Brush her teeth, or at least buy her special teeth cleaning bones. Buy her dog vitamins. Make sure she is groomed and kept comfortable in the hot weather. And take her to the Vet regularly so that they can check for any problems that you would be able to get rid of.
Also buy some dog books on the specific breed that she is, or, if she's a mixed breed, buy books on mixed breeds, or on whatever the prominent breed of your dog is.

It's going to take time and patience. Search online for "how to train your iguana" or "iguana care" There are some really good web sites out there that can help you along. You could also try getting some books on iguana care and iguana training. Just be gentle with him and he will soon learn that you aren't going to harm him.

i've had my dog Milo for nearly 2 years and no matter what we do HE ALWAYS PEES ON THE GOD DAMNED CARPET! how on earth do i get him to stop!???? we punish him and scold him when he does it when he goes outside like he's supposed to we praise him for it... but he STILL does it on the carpet!!
Treat him like a puppy and take him outside every two hours or so. Praise him and give him treats when he goes where he is sopposed to, and tell him no and scold him when he goes inside. Get some deoderizer that is specifically made to get rid of animal urine and spray the carpet, or he will always go back to the spot that smells like him. Dogs have extra great noses and can smell things that we can't.
Also, take him to the Vets. He might have a urinary tract infection, which will make it so he can't hold it in.
When he is left alone, and at night time, keep him in a dog crate. But DO NOT leave him in it for two long. If he really has to go in it and is forced to lay in his own urine then he will get a urinary tract infection, and the problem will start all over again.
Get a book on how to house train your dog also.

If you think an animal has rabies then don't go near it. If you know of any animals in your area, contact a veterinarian or an animal control officer and tell them about it. People can catch rabies also and there have only been three cases in the US where a humane has lived after having rabies. I am taking Veterinary classes in college, and had to get a rabies vaccination because I will be handling stray animals. I know this because I got information about rabies from my doctor and from the humane society where I volunteer.

The ratings are supposed to be for keeping the bad advice off the site, much like we have the moderators in place to help keep the really bad questions off the site.
I mean, when I see a question that says "I rate!" in the body or even subjet of it, it just screams "OMG! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!!!!" It is getting kind of pathetic, as we're seeing it ALL THE TIME!
