I have a yeast infection and I'm okay with it because I've had one before. The only thing that worries me is that I had sex for the very first time last weekend and I'm scared that it happened from that. I'm very sensitive "down there" and if every time I have sex, its gunna happen then thats not a good thing. Can you get a yeast infection from sex or an STD?!?!
If you don't use a condom you can get an STD. (You can get genital warts even if you use one but that's different). Sometimes people have a reaction to a particular kind of condom when they have sex. I switched brands ocasionally and that helped.
You might just have a yeast infection, but I would go to the doctor and see because there is another infection that is just like it that can cause sterility called bacteriosis.
A vagina has a certain amount of good and bad bacteria, and if you offset that balance you can have problems. Irritation won't happen every time you have sex, but it can happen.

If you have been having unprotected sex and are seeing someone new, you should have it before sex. If you don't use a condom, you shouldn't be having sex at all. If you are ignorant enough not to use a condom, get tested after sex. An AIDs test is to be used to keep from infecting other people, and to take care of yourself.

28 days is normal. All you can do is prepare for it, and hope for the best. It is very possible to camp and be on your period. Maybe it will be light while you are out. Tell your mom anyway, she can help you prepare for being in the wilderness. P.S. Bring your own roll of toilet paper too.

In reality, you are 14 years old. You can't exactly drive over there. I would continue with talking to him online and the phone. Maybe an occasional card and letter.
Long distance relationships are hard no matter how old you are. Cherish the time you did spend with him, but don't avoid guys close to you. You are too young to be serious right now. Later, you may be able to meet him during a vacation with your parents or something cool like that.

I think your friend is jealous of the time you spend with your boyfriend. You should take a break from your boyfriend occasionally to go to parties with your friend.
He is being too controlling if he is telling you what you can and cannot do. You shouldn't ever have to ask permission to do what you want.
In the meantime, you should tell them both how they are acting, and how that is making you feel. Its easy sometimes to forget to carve out some time with friends, but girl time is really important too.

My boyfriend "Logan" and I were at his house, watching porn vidoes. We started to make out, and things got pretty serious. I was in my bra and thong, and he was in his boxers. You need a copy of this thing so can turn in this jerk to the police for raping you. I would go ahead and tell dad anyway. It won't be easy. Rape is rape. And selling it on the internet is even worse. This is not the easiest thing to hear, but you need to tell someone you trust about this incident so that the proper steps can be taken. Hey Ive been getting behind in school REALLY bad and I say Im ganna study every night to try and get better grades but then I end up getting invited some where or Wanna do something with one of my friends so I end up not either stuffing or doing my homework or anything Do you have any idea how I could do both?
If you finish your homework early, then you can spend all the extra time doing things you like to do. You could probably have it done before your parents even get home.
Ask your friend if they would like to study with you for a little while. Then go do something fun with them. A few minutes of studying will help you out tremendously. Every time you have free time in class, on the bus, or whenever study a few minutes. Then you will eventually get in the habit. It won't be as painful if you do it a little at a time.

My family is always bugging me about my grades and about school and it bugs me.They always tell me to bring my homework home so they can see it but I never do and when I do They try and help me but I get frustrated with them and all this stuff .Our family is always in fights and Ive tryed everything to get our family together but its not working.
Think about asking your friends if they would like to study together for a little while, and then go out and do something fun. You both know what you are working on.
Your family just wants to know where you are in school. Make a deal with them. They can see your homework after you finish it. Get the phone numbers of a few classmates so you won't get stuck so much.

Once you have looked at a deck and used the index cards that the last person suggested, consider buying a small laminator or take them to your local print shop to laminate them. Or you can get sheets of sticky contact or laminating paper at Wal-mart. This will keep them clean and allow you to use them longer. Sounds really awesome!

Hey! OK, I'm really shy. Its not that I enjoy being all by myself because I totally hate it... I love to be with people... but it’s hard for me to just walk up to someone because last year in classes we got to sit around and talk for the end of each period. When I tried to talk to someone they would be like "uh huh. Ok" and then walk away. However I’ve talked to each of them individually and they seem interested in talking to me (No, they were not just being nice) I’m moving to a totally new country next year which means a new school. I want to redo myself… like not be so shy anymore. Could you all give me some tips for me to be less shy? And please no advice like "just talk to people"… that doesn't work. I've tried. Maybe if you made the first move and asked about someone and what they like. Just take baby steps. Read the news before you go out, or have some things you feel strongly about and ask them about it. If you are like me, once you start knowing a little bit about a person, it makes it easier to talk to them. The world needs some listeners too by the way.

I live in North Carolina and my mom and dad got divorced 3-4 years ago. He doesn't pay for much, and I know he won't pay for college. I'm 16...a Junior in High School and have 2 more years left for college. I really want to go to Boston University or University of Massachusetts because I love those schools and it's my home state. My mom said that I should go to college in North Carolina so it will be cheaper but I don't like many colleges here. The ones I do like (Duke University and Wake Forest University) are private and will still cost more. I told her I'd pay for law school and 4 year college but she wanted to pay for that. She said if I go to college up there then she'll only give me the amount a year that she would pay down here. What should I do? Should I go down here or up there or should I say something?
I agree with the trying extremely hard to get good grades and a scholarship ploy. My parents wanted me (a really good student) to go to a junior college. I refused and got a small scholarship the first year to the school I wanted to go to. Find as many scholarships as you can, and apply for them.
I worked and went to school at the same time for the remaining years, and my parents still gave me some money when it was due. I worked in the field that I wanted a career in. You might try talking to some of the law offices near the area you want to be in. It is possible they could use an intern, and it will look good for you. You could also do this during summer break and college.
Your parents have probably set aside a good portion of money for school, so you might not have to carry the full load, but planning is key.

A good male friend is priceless. He may change his mind about going out in the future. Right now you are both still emjoying each other's company, so just enjoy it. You sound as if you have already asked him if he wants to go out with you, but you could ask him if you would like to do something as friends. If you haven't asked him if he wants to go out, do it. He can only say no, but don't pester him into doing it. He will when and if he is ready.
