XxbabiixdanielLexX answered Tuesday July 13 2004, 9:57 pm: Well i suggest you set aside a few days to hang out with your friends and a few days to sit and do your homework and study-without any interruptions. and dont just say "ok" when someone calls with plans, tell them you cant. You may want to talk to your teacher(s) or parents. [ XxbabiixdanielLexX's advice column | Ask XxbabiixdanielLexX A Question ]
Chelsea_babe_69 answered Tuesday July 13 2004, 1:43 pm: Im giong thru the same thing.
Wat i do is i have a friend (Brittany) remind me i need to stay focused. I allways am getting invited to do things...or to chat online...but i kno in the back of my head...that i have a montain of homework. YOu have to have a friend you can trust to remind you.."NO" you have to find a friend that will be strict with you. I have Brittany to do that for me...and im lucky cuz its hard to find friends like that.
Another idea is bring you social life with your academic life. Try have a study group with your firneds. But remeber your there to pay attition and study...not goof off and talk about boys.
chaos answered Tuesday July 13 2004, 1:39 pm: If you finish your homework early, then you can spend all the extra time doing things you like to do. You could probably have it done before your parents even get home.
Ask your friend if they would like to study with you for a little while. Then go do something fun with them. A few minutes of studying will help you out tremendously. Every time you have free time in class, on the bus, or whenever study a few minutes. Then you will eventually get in the habit. It won't be as painful if you do it a little at a time.
