hey katey im 14 years old. i just got back from this away camp. while i was there i met this boy and we toatally hit it off. right from the time we met we flirted and hung out the whole week. when it was time to say goodbye it was so hard for the both of us. i talk to him online and the phone but its not the same. he lives 5 and a half hours away in virgina and i live in pennsylvania..we like eachother alot alot.how do we keep a great strong realationship if we never get to see eachother?

In reality, you are 14 years old. You can't exactly drive over there. I would continue with talking to him online and the phone. Maybe an occasional card and letter.
Long distance relationships are hard no matter how old you are. Cherish the time you did spend with him, but don't avoid guys close to you. You are too young to be serious right now. Later, you may be able to meet him during a vacation with your parents or something cool like that.

well..i know this boys seems like the guy of ur dreams, but if you live 5 and a half hours away you dont know what hes doing at all times..you might be sitting there waitign for him to call, while he out wiht girls who live close to him. maybe you guys should just be friends??? :-/ hope this helps you out!!!

This is a really hard one. Honestly though I have been through tons of long distance relationships and they just end up making you feel bad. My advice would be to just try and get over him. Your going to start missing him and wishing he lived closer and your going to make yourself crazy. Just try really hard to meet other people that live near you, and tell him to do the same thing, its extremely hard to keep a good strong relationship online...

Phone calls, letters, IM...anything you can think of to keep in touch. My boy's away in Vegas for the summer and we're keeping in touch through phone calls for the most part...Hope I helped!
