He's just a guy like any other one; he's just smaller. Don't worry about him. Be his friend. It won't kill you, and he might turn out to be pretty cool. Besides you'll be at 6 Flags, it won't matter who you are with. He seems sweet. If he turn out to be a bad person, then worry abou it.

Last year I was part of a drama group. Near the end of the year we teamed up with one of the other groups to use them as extras for the play. I met one of the guys from the other group and we spoke a couple of times. A few months after the play, I added him to my MSN list and since then we've talked every once in awhile. He's really friendly so it's easy to talk to him even though I don't know him too well. Recently I found out he got a job a store near where I live, and the last time I went I happened to run into him after his shift was over and we sat and talked for a little while. The point is (there better be, I've been rambling for awhile) I was wondering how I could get to become better friends with him. I mean, I don't know if talking to him more often on MSN will lead anywhere, and at this point we aren't close enough for me to suggest meeting somewhere to hang out. I'd be glad for any suggestions, thanks!
Why do you suggest that you both meet somewhere? Coffee, the park, the zoo, the art museum, the library..anywhere where you actually have a chance to talk to him some more. Ask him if he wouldn't mind giving out his phone number. Don't pester him too much, but just ask him casually.

How can I get real good revenge on my ex boyfriend? He dumped me b/c he got too horny and we started to do stuffthen "god" told him to break up with me... which is a load of shit... someone help plz.. thanx a lot.and nothing that will kill him or hurt him too too bad :D thanx
Maybe it really happened. Maybe God really told him that. Have you considered just forgiving him, and finding someone else who does really care for you? They could be closer than you think.

My sister and i sing. And we sing well. Sometimes friends and family will ask us to sing but if we are not together, we feel uncomfortable doing it alone. Alot of the times we need a few drinks to loosen us up. How do you get over the fear of singing in front of large groups and also how to do it without someone?
The best thing is just to do it over and over. If you really know the music that you want to sing, it helps tremendously because you aren't focusing on words; you begin to focus on your audience and conveying meaning to the song.
You could also just imagine that your sister is there beside you even when she isn't It just takes a little time and practice then the confidence will come.

Hello. My name's Amanda and I'm 15 and from New York. I've loved the spotlight since I was a very little girl and I can't think of a time when I wasn't entertaining someone. My main interests are dancing and acting but I also do a lot of singing and modeling too. I remember being a little girl and singing and dancing around the house and I'm always getting complimented on my acting and modeling skills, haha. Of course I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but it's just the truth and I want you to know the truth before you go and give me advice. Anyways, I've been taking dance classes since I was about 5 or so and when I was in 3rd grade I started singing in a children's choir along with getting vocal training. I sung in the choir untill I was 13 and now I've moved on to other things. I'm searching for an agent right now and I've begun taking acting classes. The reason I'm writing here is because I need advice on my parents. They don't seem to support me as much as they used to. I mean, they're awesome parents but they think I should be more focused on becoming a lawyer or doctor(which I have no interest in) then becoming an entertainer or someone in the entertainment industry. I don't understand why they're acting so cold lately towards my dreams. I know that it takes a lot of work to become something but I'm willing to work hard for it and I just wished they had my back. Also, my friends seem to think that my vocal and acting training and stuff is silly and they don't see why I go on auditions and stuff. It really hurts when they mock me for what I do...I know they don't mean to hurt me but I don't like it at all. Most of my friends are really big jocks and so am I but I'm a very verstile(sp?) person and I like other things too and they can't seem to understand that. Anyone have any advice? I'd love someone to talk with about this! Thanks for reading, Amanda
Parents are sometimes hard to convince. They only want what is best for you. The last time my dad complained about my dream/career, I told him to buy me a theatre. This shut him up for a while. He still doesn't think I have a "real" job. Sometimes the most sastifying thing is going to work and doing what you wanted since high school.
Things will eventually fall into place if you have the drive. Have you taken any of your friends with you to an audition? People tend to make fun of things they don't understand. They could possibly be jealous. Don't worry about them. Worry about yourself and the things you need for the future.
Also remember, the more skills you have the more choices you have when it comes to getting a job or having a career. One of my hobbies has also become a small but steady source of income that I did not expect. This is crunch time for getting all of the grades, opportunites, and scholarships you need to go forward in whatever field you choose. Make all the new friends in your businees you can, and try not to burn any bridges because the back you step on today may be the hand you need later.

My boyfriend said that on the first date he wanted to have sex with me but I don't think I'm ready to. I told him I wanted to wait and he said okay we'll wait but now everytime I talk to him he still brings up the subject of "doing it" on the first date. What do I say to him to tell him that I don't want to go that far on the first date?
If you don't think you are ready, you aren't. How can he be your boyfriend if you haven't even gone on a first date? I would tell him that I wouldn't even go out with him the first timeif he wasn't going to respect me enough to not have sex with me. If he can't handle it, you need to leave him alone. I would honestly be afraid to be alone with him if I already knew his intentions, and he wouldn't shut up about it.

hi. my rich grandparents just bought me a saleen s7 for my 16th bday. I LOVE THE CAR and ive always wanted it. The only problem is, even though my neighborhood is fairly nice nobody has a car like mine and everyone is making fun of me! they say rich girl, spoiled brat, snob and stuff like that. My car got egged too :(. How can i make this stop??
thankz
You could get an alarm for it if it doesn't already have one. If you are allowed, you could offer these people a ride. They will either shut up or just be jealous. People are just mean sometimes. It will probably die down after a little while.

I have been seeing my BF for about 3 months now. I guess I should start off by saying I am 22 (almost) and have had nothing but really horible relationships. I just moved to GA in Feb and I found my current BF. He absoulty wonderful. I have always told past BF I love them. Being with this new guy has be amazing..even for 3 months. I am happier than I have ever been. I didnt know that people like him were really out there. My question is, do you think its too early for me to be in love with him. If not how do I tell him. (he already told me he's falling for me..(he didnt say the L word though) I just dont want to freak him out to bad, only cause of the short time period we have known each other. Please help...Thanks a Bunch xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Christin
You can tell him other things than the absolute L word if you don't feel like you are ready. It took me about 4 months to say it to the guy I am currently dating. We have now been dating about a year and "serious" for 9 of those months. You could just wait a little longer to see if he says it. Don't rush into things, even when they are going really well. It's ok to start having those feelings.

I have been going to the same Christian school all my life. Now Im entering high school and I have the choice to go to the public highschool near my house. Im worried about not making friends or getting into trouble in the public school. Its my choice but I cant decide. Which on should I go to and why? Please help! I know its a stupid question but please .. Thanks!
xO mE
At this point, I would stay in Christian School if I could because you get a better education. Ok, I totally biased because I was in Christian School until I went to Jr. High in the seventh grade. It was a huge change, and you have to be prepared to make new friends. It might not be as much as a culture shock to you if its high school.
If you follow the rules you won't get into trouble.
Just be friendly and ask questions whenever you need to know something. It won't take long to make friends usually. Just be yourself, and hope for the best. It's about your education, not who's popular and what they are wearing.

ok , i dont kno what to do anymore . im babyysitting this 4 yr. old little boy . i came at 9:30 this morning and like 10 min. after the mom left for work , he's throwing his toys at me , one hitting my chin , then he took some statue thing the parents hav and starts biting on it . nd i cant control this kid . can u help me pleasE
You need the power of the "fake" phone call. Act like you are on the phone with his parents, and tell them what he has been doing. If it escalates to real damage, call them for real. Start taking things away until there is nothing else to throw.

k this mite come off as a lil weird, but i was just thinking about you know, how everyone says having sex on your period is disgusting and all .. well what if your saving yourself till marriage but your on your period your wedding night!! how AWFUL that would be =( like do you plan your wedding around your period?? wat if your early or smthn .. planning that far ahead being early or late a few times could mess it all up .. that would just be awful!! how are you supposed to make sure that doesnt happen??
First you need a calendar. If you are lucky enough to have a stable period, you can count it out every 28 days and get it close. I can usually be fairly accurate within about six months. Birth control helps regulate your period when you aren't lucky enough to have a stable period. Chances are you will be nervous anyway, and that makes your period later. I guess in short, you plan your wedding around your period as close as you can, and pray for the rest. It's between you and your husband anyway.

I discovered a dimensional rift under my bed sometime last year. It was never a problem until just recently it began to suck in my left socks I left on the floor. In exchange for them, it deposits lady bugs in my room. The bills for my black cotton footwear are starting to add up and I can no longer stand the sight of lady bugs. Do you have a solution to my perils? Is there a way to mend this?
You could sell the lady bugs on ebay to earn money to replace the lost left socks. If you find a way to loan me the dimensional rift, I really need to use it in my grandfather's study because it has every tax bill since 1980 in it.

Ok, My names Mike and I was wondering, I'm a very random person and will do anything to get a laugh from anyone. So. I do alot of random stupid things just to get a luagh, but sometimes the things I do make people think I'm just a retard. So, I'm wondering if anyone thinks that people like me are funny and great to have aound? And what I mean by people like me is, people with no care of what people think and will is unhibited and will act wild and crazy just for kicks.
I have a boyfriend who is a constant imitator and cartoon character. For the first few months, that's all he did. It was hard to have a conversation with him. Eventually he calmed down, and only does it every once in a while when I am being morose.
Anyway, it's ok to be silly and stupid. Just don't hurt yourself or others. Funny is a good thing. Remember to be serious every once in a while so that people can relate to the real you.

I am VERY picky about what I eat... I won't eat most meats... only Peperoni on my pizza (if i have to) and hamburgers. I like junk food ALOT and I eat alot of it... I won't eat most foods other people eat. I have alot of problems when I stay the night with friends because I usually don't like what they are having for dinner.
I am about 5'3-5'4 and i only weigh about 135... it may sound like a lot .. but i have alot of muscle too...
What kinds of foods should I try eating so I will stay healthy?
Is there any way to make myself like more healthy foods?
Lay off the junk food. What you are probably yearning for is more taste because those foods usually have a rich taste of some sort. Try experimenting with different spices or mixing unconvential things together. I started throwing the random mushroom or piece of squash on my ordinary sandwhich and it tastes great. There are some neat sauces and flavored mayonnaise (sp?) that taste great and unusual. Just keep trying.

What does this mean...
"Denial is the first stage?"
Thanks!
Denial is the first stage of grief. It a list of how people deal with life changing things.
1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance
There might be two more but I can't find them.

my dad travels almost every week to california. we live in mass. he`s missed my birthday for about 5 years now and my most recent violin concert that was really important to me and my soccer tournament. occasionally he gets weeks off work and travel and stays home or works from home but he`s always in a really bad mood. whever i ask him to stop bitching at me he`s like "what, i`m not in a bad mood! leave me alone!"i try to tell my mom that he`s in a bad mood for no reason at all and ask her to tell him to stop it but she always sticks up for him and says that he has it rough traveling so often, we should give him a break, he`s just tired he`s always been kind, patient, a great person etc etc But even she has to see that he`s being just plain evil sometimes. once i remember i was working on a project with a friend and asked him to cut up a box for him and he said no because he was busy [he was watching tv and eating] so we asked again after he was done with lunch and he said only if we bring everything to him! it was impossible to bring all of the things in the box [it was a clay diorama] to him! it weighed a ton! oh gosh that`s not even close some of the worst he`s done .. i want him to stop because it`s hard enough for me n my bro to have a dad that isnt around much but when he is home, can`t he make an effort not to scream at us for laughing?
i totally appreciate it!!!!
xox
Do you only talk to him when you need something? Maybe you should arrange a "date" with your Dad a few weeks out so that you can tell him how he is making you feel. It is true that he works a lot, is stressed, blah blah blah, but you need him too. If you make a plan, maybe he will be more relaxed and you can talk to him.

i`m completely into music [i play violin] and i love it s0o0o0o much! i`ve been playing classical and fiddle/improv for almost 7 years. my mom and classical teacher want me to continue with classical and do that as mmy career and take it more seriously. my improv and fiddle teachers want me to take classical until college but then go into fiddle and improvisation. i`m not sure how to handle all this cause i really am starting to dislike a lot of classical music that my teacher wants for me. but she is a great person and player [carnegie hall and debut at age 10!!!!!!] i think maybe i should try some new classical crap but i`m not sure if this will fix my problem..
thankssss i rate*-- xoxox
It is good to have both of these genres under your hat because it makes you more marketable. Talk to your teacher about how you are feeling. There is a point in your career where you may have to choose. There is probably a lot more opportunity to earn prizes and scholarships with the classical bend, but the improv would be more useful in a band situation. It is not up to me to make your decision, but you won't have to give up improv forever. They are just trying to focus you into the best opportunity that they know. I hope to see you on my stage (ok I don't own it, I just work here).
