Ok, so whenever my best friend has another friend over she won't talk to me (I mean like online). Your probably thinking "ummm, it's rude to talk to you while a friend is there." But she talks to other people! I know this because if I IM her on the bottom it will say (their screenname) is typing. Then she just stops typing when she realizes it's from me and immedatly puts up her away message. Then someone will ask me if I know why she went away without saying anything. My question is how should I confront her? Do you think she is hiding something from me? Thank you.

Yes, she might be hiding something. Try talking to her about it, and if all else fails, dump her, because she's not being a good friend. (friends don't hide things from each other) Good luck!

Im in my junior year of highschool and i know its one of the most important years besides your senior year.. but i have no motivation what-so-ever. I have motivation in school cause my friends are doing work, so i might as well do it too. but when i get home i dont want to do it... i just dont care. I was wondering if there was something that will get me motivated.. thank you in advance!

I'm a sophomore and I do the same thing. But try thinking about your future and how you'll effect it if you don't do your hw. That's what I do. And since your friends are a motivation to you in school, maybe have them come over and you can do your hw together. Have a homework party! Lol. Lame, but ya know. Good luck!

I like this guy and i thought he liked he but yester day he called me and he said'' I need advice, i like this girl and i think she likes me ... but do you think i should ask her out?'' well i thought he was talking about me, but then i found out it was this other girl. i dont know if he acutually likes her or not because she is not his type at all. Should I just let it go or should i say something?

He might've been talking about you, but maybe he got nervous, and he just started going out with the other girl for no reason. Just talk to him about it, but if it turns out he really likes the other girl, then support him. And if breaks up with her, then he'll go to you! Good luck!

I have been working so hard in school. and my mom wont let me do anything! i have worked my butt off, and all she will let me do is work more! She expects me to read books in one day, yet she doesnt believe i can write an essay in one hour when i am determined to go to a play with my friends! I am getting so tired, i have had so much pressure on myself i feel like i am going to crack under it! PLEASE help me! what do i do!? I am pratically being grounded from a life! Even though its winter vacation she wont let me do hardly anything now either! She went shopping today right after i woke up..so i didnt wanna go, becuz i had just woken up..and she was lke. How about you read a book or something! agh! All of this work isnt making my brain stronger! Its making it over-pressured and weak! I really need advice!

ok so i have this friend john and i like him. there was a dance on friday and since alexia (my friend and his ex girlfriend) couldn't go she asked erin (another friend) to see if i danced with john. And i did just 1 little slow dance. And then l8ter at the dance erin was talking to him while i was dancing and then for the rest of the dance he was like avoiding me. i am wondering was he just trying to protect me from alexia getting mad at me, (she would get mad even if we talked) or was he avoiding me because he didn't want to be around me?

She might've told him something about you. I would go up to him and tell him that whatever she said wasn't true. If he still avoids you, then I would forget about him, because he's not worth it. Good luck!

ok.i have this friend and there was a party one weekend.of course,I partied it up. But there were guys that i did stuff with. I didnt tell anyone BUT my friend. I requested that she not tell anyone about it.Then she told me the guys and 1 of my friends hated me because of a cake fight.I later found out that none of them said that. I got mad at her so she decided to tell EVERYONE about me night. When I first confronted her,she denied it. But when I asked her again she took the blame.She told me she did it because i was mad at her.I dont think I should forgive her.Can anyone help me?

i use nyc eyeliner and everytime i use it it comes off easily so i have to bring my eyeliner to school and put it on there. my friends thinks its annoying cause i need to go to the bathroom or use their mirror in their lockers to put it on. whenever my friends put the eyeliner i use on, it stays on for them but it doesnt for me. i tried many kinds of eyeliner but i still cant find one that will stay on, someone please help!

p.s i dont want to use liquid eyeliner or very expenisive eyeliners

I use NYC eyeliner too and the same thing happens. I would maybe try using Maybelline or Covergirl. They're a little more expensive, but not too much. Good luck!

i have these pimples around my nose, like everywhere on the sides of my nose, so it make my nose look really red and all that and the pimples WONT go away! i have tried sooo much stuff and it DOESNT work! its really pissing me off and they have been there for like ever! i cant even remember my nose being pimple free! do you know any good pimple creams or something that will help me! PLEASE!

Try going to your doctor and getting a subscription. Also, if you haven't tried already, try Clearisil Ultra. I've never tried it, but it looks like it works really good. Good luck!

I have an oral presentation to give on monday (it's powerpoint) and i'm terrified... like this is one of my biggest fears ever. Whenever i go to give a speech or something my voice starts really quivering and shaking and it sounds like i'm crying. Is there any way to stop this from happening? also... any other advice on giving speeches would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

It helps to practice in front of your parents the night before. And when you're giving your speech, just look above their heads or below, and just imagine you're still talking to your parents. This happens to me too. I hate giving speeches, because I'm so shy, so sorry if that didn't help much. I know how you feel. Good luck! I know you'll do good!

well there this guy at school and well he like likes me he ask me out and i thought i liked him and i told my sis that i did then my sister had told him i said yes then like i broke up with him then like he is trying to give me money and expensive gifts and well i havent excepted them but im confused what should i do.

It sounds like he's bribing you. I would tell him to stop. Don't give in, if you don't want to be with him, don't. Good luck!

i've known my best friend,kelly, for 4 years now. and since we started high school she has changed, she doesn't tell me anything anymore. we still talk and hang out together and she gives me ride to school and i drop her off at her house after school. there is another girl ,jill, and she stays over her house all the time. and she tells jill everything. but jill says that some other girl,chris, is her best friend not kelly. so i don't know what to do. i feel so left out. kelly doesn't talk to online or on the phone she doesn't tell me personal stuff or anything. oh also kelly talks s**t about jill when she isn't there so i don't know whats up with her!

Trying talking to her about what's going on. She might not realize she's hurting you. If nothing changes, then get better friends, because clearly, she's not being one. Good luck!

Theres this one girl in my dorm...she CANT spell. A freshmen in college and she cant spell little words, she simply doesnt know how. The word good, she spells gud. She cant even spell little words and this concerns me. She isnt doing well in her classes at all because of this reason. Me and my roommate edit her papers and we try to tell her that she really needs to learn how to spell properly, but she doesnt care. She cant rely on me and my roommate to save her but on every paper. Should I tell her to go to a tutor (which she probally wont go), or let her fend for herself? I tried to help her learn, but I get mad at her everytime I try.

Contintue helping her, but try not to get mad. Suggest to her about a tutor, but if she doesn't want to go, don't push it. Good luck!

I used to be best friends with this girl but we fell out because I spent too much time with a new group of friends and my boyfriend. Now I just hang out with my boyfriend and the new group but my ex friend has started taking over. She's poisoning my friend's minds against, flirts with my boyfriend and is just generally taking my place. There is no way that we can ever be friends again but she's destroying what I have with my other friends too. What should I do?

Ask your friend why she's doing this. She's probably hurt because you left her. Also, tell your new friends that none of the stuff she's saying is true. Good luck!

I have a rat and my brother gave me another one and put them in the same cage and they started fighting and one of them has cuts under his chin so I was wondering if I should just let them heal or do something about it.Thanks

It sounds like, the first one doesn't like the other one, because he took his territory. My cat does that. We just got a kitten a few months ago, and my first cat still doesn't like the kitten. I would put them in separate cages. Good luck!

My daughter does not want to know me and is trying to exclude me from the rest of the family i am heartbroken she cant see that i love her and my other children she is married and has children of her own please find me some answers as to why this is happening

I would assume this would go under mental health, cause I am sure it is all in my head.
Everytime I get extremly upset, I get really nausous feeling. I am in the middle of a pretty bad pending breakup (only time will tell what will happen with that) but everytime something happens that would upset me, or I dwell on something that may have upset me in the past, I actualy do get sick. I dont go one day without throwing up, and recently, I feel nausous all the time, so I cant eat, therefore getting dry heave. What can I do to stop getting sick?

It's probably anxiety. My mom sometimes gets so stressed, she makes herself sick. Talking to your mom about your problems makes you feel so much better, you wouldn't believe! You'll get better, it takes time. Hope you feel better. Hope I helped!

Ok so I have this bf. Here's a sophomore and I'm a freshman. Some days he treats me good by talkin to me, holding my hand, walking me to class, and all that cute stuff that gurls like guyz to do. Then other days hes a total dick. Sometimes he wont even say hi to me and if i do get the chance to talk to him he juss walks away cuz he doesnt like to hang out with my freshman friends. I've learned how to blow it off but it still pisses me off. A couple weeks ago one of my closest friends said she saw him totally flirting with my worst enemy. I confronted him bout it and he totally denied it. I really want to beleive that hes telling me the truth but alot of people have told me that hes always all over other gurls. The people that tell me this are some of my closest friends and I know that they wuld never lie to me. All of my friends say that I should break up with him because he doesnt treat me good and I'm starting to beleive them. I still kinda have feelings for him but I'm not shure if I still wanna be with him. Plz help!!!

I wouldn't want to be with him if I were you. If he really liked you, he wouldn't be treating you like this. Maybe try talking to him about it, and if nothing changes, just forget about him. Good luck!

This kid in my school, Danny, he knows I had an eating disorder problem, so I lost a really lot of weight; but everytime he sees me he makes some sort of rude comment. They all tend to be toward my weight. For instance at lunch I asked my friend if they had any money I could borrow because I left mine at home, and he said something rude like "What for lunch? Looks like you've eaten enough". Which totaly goes over my head because I've lost about 60lbs since the begining of last summer. So, how should I confront him, or should I not even bother I know theres got to be a way to shut him up without having to bring the principal into it or anything like that. Or should I just resort to that?

Wow, what a jerk! Haha, just ignore him. If he sees that it doesn't bother you, he'll stop. And if he doesn't, then yes, I would tell someone like a parent, teacher, or your principal. Good luck!

ok i know this isn't exactly sex related, but it's close enough. today i was putting on deodorant, and accidently got some on my chest. as i was going to rub it off, i notice that my right nipple was a different texture than my left-it felt like, rougher. also, the area surrounding it felt almost numb. is this normal?? i've never noticed anything like this before, but then again i don't often feel my chest that often, so i don't know if it's normal or not. any help would be greatly appreciated!! thanks so much
