Question Posted Saturday December 18 2004, 1:56 pm
i use nyc eyeliner and everytime i use it it comes off easily so i have to bring my eyeliner to school and put it on there. my friends thinks its annoying cause i need to go to the bathroom or use their mirror in their lockers to put it on. whenever my friends put the eyeliner i use on, it stays on for them but it doesnt for me. i tried many kinds of eyeliner but i still cant find one that will stay on, someone please help!
p.s i dont want to use liquid eyeliner or very expenisive eyeliners
XbleweyedtearsX answered Sunday December 19 2004, 11:52 pm: that used to happen to me. When you put it on just DONT rub your eyes like at all. if it really is doing that a lot thought then liquid eyeliner might be the best..just make sure you let it dry. hope i helped **x0x0x [ XbleweyedtearsX's advice column | Ask XbleweyedtearsX A Question ]
AsKmE135 answered Sunday December 19 2004, 10:36 pm: Sometimes it depends where you put it. If you put it too close to your eyeball (on the bottom), then the water in your eye may wash it off. So try putting it lower, like below your lashes, or JUST above your lashes. [ AsKmE135's advice column | Ask AsKmE135 A Question ]

Shortie8959 answered Saturday December 18 2004, 11:07 pm: I use NYC eyeliner too and the same thing happens. I would maybe try using Maybelline or Covergirl. They're a little more expensive, but not too much. Good luck!
Hope I helped!

Okay well I really think you should consider Mary Kay make-up, its waterproof and ive been using it for quite some while, and its great! It doesnt cost much and its "not" liquid either! Oh and one more thing, you won't have to put it on either at school!
KaJabbers! answered Saturday December 18 2004, 9:52 pm: some people's skin just produces more oils than others, and that includes on your eyelids. These excess oils are causing the eyliner to wear off. Make sure that your skin is clean before applying the eyeliner, and put on a thin layer of powder before the eyeliner, this absorbs the oils your skin puts out, and doesn't affect the eyeliner at all. You could also try black eyeshadow in a thin line instead of eyeliner, it looks the same and stays on better. LUCK!

Berri answered Saturday December 18 2004, 4:29 pm: Yeah, eyeliner can be horrid sometimes. Have you tried NYC Automatic Eyliner (or something like that)? That's what I use, and although it does transfer to the top of my eylid a tiny bit (It's barely visible.) Or if all else fails, you can put your own mirror in your locker so that you don't have to annoy your friends. And yeah, I don't like liquid eyeliner either. It always peels.
