ok i know this isn't exactly sex related, but it's close enough. today i was putting on deodorant, and accidently got some on my chest. as i was going to rub it off, i notice that my right nipple was a different texture than my left-it felt like, rougher. also, the area surrounding it felt almost numb. is this normal?? i've never noticed anything like this before, but then again i don't often feel my chest that often, so i don't know if it's normal or not. any help would be greatly appreciated!! thanks so much
loochalo answered Wednesday December 22 2004, 6:24 pm: you are totally normal! it could just be from your bra matiral (irrition) it may also be just your muscle in your breast. if this is making you worried then go to the docors, thats what their there for right!
icey0990 answered Sunday December 19 2004, 8:43 pm: You could be developing breast thingys (lol forgive me i forget what they are called). Suction things perhaps? Bah lol. Are there small circles around that nipple? If so it could be that. The small dot things is for nursing. If its numb..maybe your PMSing? I know it sounds weird but i read that the signs of a women getting her period can consist of sore breasts. It could just be that your nipples are different, which is fine. Look this up online for more info or talk to a doctor next time you go. Its all confidential

In a word, yes. Yes, it is normal. For a lot of people, either their nipples or breasts (or both) don't quite match up. Either one is misshapen, one nipple sticks out more than the other, maybe one goes inward while the other doesn't, lots of things. If you're still young and developing, chances are it will fix itself. If not, it's really not much to worry about. You're not "weird" or "different" or "deformed".
