Okay so last monday me and some friends were hanging out. And the boy I so happen to have a crush on was there but he has a girlfriend. Okay well we were flirting A LOT. You shouldn't feel so bad. He made the choice to do it. He knew he had a girlfriend, and he did it anyways. It's half his fault. The most you can do is say sorry, but until then, don't worry so much. You're not the only one to blame here.

For your arms, lift weights. Start off with small amounts like 5lbs.

For your stomach, do situps, and crunches.

And for your thighs, run. Running helps build muscle in your leg. Don't be discouraged if you gain weight because muscle weighs more than fat.

I'm 13, and my boyfriend [who I have been dating for a year and a half] is 17. He will be 18 in April. I'll be turning 14 in October. I live in Louisiana and he lives in Texas. We met off the internet and have met personally twice. Both of my parents have approved and met with him, unfortunately, I live with my grandparents and they do NOT approve.

Some people tell me that the legal dating age difference cannot be higher than 2 years apart. Other people tell me it's 5 years. What is the actual difference?

Also, his mom or dad does not approve at all of us having any kind of romantic relationship [or any kind of relationship at all] together. Do they legally have the rights to keep him from talking/seeing me while he's still 17?

They have a problem with it because you're young, and he's going to be an adult soon, and it'd be wrong for him to date a younger girl by so many years. Legally, yes they do have the right to keep him from you because he's not of age yet & until he turns 18, he is still under their control. When he's 18, then he can do whatever the hell he wants. Until then, he's their bitch.

I'm not sure about the actual difference, but I'm sure if you google it, you'll find out. It's different for every state though.

I'm not a guy, but I can think like one. And I've been friends with guys pretty much my whole life, so I know how they think & what they like.

If a girl can do certain things [bench press, play sports] better than a guy, then they see it as unattractive. But, if you can play sports well, then they like it because it's something you can guys can do together.

All in all, it depends on the guy because some guys like it, some guys don't. But usually you hear girls who complain about being a tomboy because their guy friends only see them as "one of the guys" and not as a girlfriend.

hey everyone! i have a problem. I pretty sure that some girls in my school think im a slut. I DO NOT do any slutty things at ALL...but these girls are kindof immature like that. I mean, i was at a birthday party and we went to the movies. My friend whom i kind of like, put his arm around me and i put my head on his shouldler. Then later i danced with him a bit. THAT WAS ALL!! i do not see whats so slutty about that. I dont know how im sopposed convince my friends that im not a slut! Its not even me, its them! If they don't call you a slut, then how do you know they think you're one. If they still think you're a slut or whatever, then they're dumb & obviously not your friends. Or maybe they're jealous of you.

If I were you, I'd shave down there. Most guys like it. If he tells you not to, then don't but unless he says otherwise, shave there.

If you do decide to [because this is totally your choice], use a new razor & shaving cream. When you're done, rub some lotion on yourself to ease it. Because since it's your first time shaving, there's a chance you'll have a few nicks & cuts.

anyone please this is not that long and i really need help. Sometimes my parents can be complete IDIOTS. im not allowed to go skiing because My dad SAYS that im going to get hurt. I cant do an article for school on RAPE because my mom doesnt like it and now i have to stay up to research another one AND memorize it. (btw im 13/f) These stupid choices of my parents are making me depressed and i even cut myslef because of it. I cant have a boyfriend untill im 17, i cant wear a tampon yet, MY MOM DOESNT ACCEPT THAT IM GROWING UP. IVE TREID TALKING TO HER ABOUT THIS BUT SHE WILL NOT LISTEN. Seriously, My dads decision about skiing. I mean COME ON. IM GONNA GET HURT WTF. i know my parents care about me but they need to let go! They will NOT listen to me when i tell them all this. I cry all the time and i dont know what to do. Sometimes my life is perfect and sometimes i want to die. What i really want to ask you guys is what can i do now? Ive talked to them, that doesnt work. I know a note wont work and they WOUDL NOT go to a counseller or anything. I honestly feel that if i sucide myslef, they might learn something. (Also, im indian if that helps). I can understand your dad not wanting you to ski. My dad doesn't want me to skateboard because he thinks I'm gonna fall & break my bones. So, it's pretty understandable. No parents want their kids with an injury. Imagine if you had a kid & they got hurt. You'd have to watch them suffer. It'd suck. So I see where he's coming from.

As for the no boyfriend until you're 17, that is kind of rediculous because everyone's gonna think something about it. But I couldn't have a boyfriend until I was 16. I changed all of that. I talked to my mom about it & had her & my dad meet him, and they liked him. =) Usually, I'd just talk to them about it.

Your mom doesn't want you doing an article on that for your school? I would just do it anyways because personally, that's a pretty good topic & it's always good to inform people about it. Tell your mom to think about how many girls you'll be helping if you write that article. But if she still doesn't approve, find another topic. I would have a backup topic just in case when after you talk to her about it she still says no.

I don't see why you'd wanna wear a tampon personally. So I can understand your mom's reasoning. Tampons are super uncomfortable.

But listen, I know exactly how you feel because I still can't do certain things. I have to go to concerts with my friends instead of by myself. Sometimes, my friends can't go & I end up missing an awesome show. I understand your parents probably won't listen but it's probably because when kids try to do something like this, they end up getting an attitude & whatever. Try talking to them about calmly. If they still don't listen, then wait it out.

By the way, stop cutting yourself. It looks horrible & it's dangerous to your health. Don't threaten your parents with suicide. It won't open their eyes, it'll just make them worry about you more & they won't let you do anything at all.

I'm in 7th grade and he's in 8th and I used to like him, I used to stare at him a lot but never talked to him. So finally one day I got up the courage to talk to him about how I felt because this girl was sending around rumors that I liked him. I wanted to tell him it wasn't true, but he wouldn't even answer me! He was with his friends, and I don't know if he thought he was cool or something, but I wasn't impressed. Not that he was trying to impress me. So then my friend goes up to him and says "she wants to know where you live!" and i dont really wanna know! hes kinda poor and all and he doesnt live in much of a house, thats what i heard. so he mightve been insulted or thought we were trying to make fun of him. she went up to him out of no where, i tried to stop her. we werent making fun of him, i tried to talk to him but he just wont answer. he always talks to his friends so i know hes not immute or anything. but he acts so mad around me! when i pass him in the hall he just looks away really fast! hes afraid of me, he hides behind his friends, not in a joking way. but when hes not with his friends and he sees me sad or something he looks all guilty, and i dont know im confused. so then my friend went up to him and said "youre a disgrace to humanity!" as if that was going to help. im sorry that this was really long but thanks for reading this! so anyway he just laughs at us and keeps walking. is there anything i can do and what can i do to make him think im not a stalker? or some horrible person? thanks

I would go up and talk to him about it. Pull him aside from his friends & tell him you're sorry about your friend telling him all this stupid stuff. Tell him that if you or your friend offended him in anyway you're both sorry, and ask him why he's so weird around you or when you're around. If he doesn't answer, just ignore him because he's probably a jerk. As for your friend, tell her to stop because she's probably making him feel bad even if she's just kidding. It's not nice to hurt people's feelings for laughter or not.

My school's valentines dance is coming up and I asked this guy I like if he would go with me. He told me that I was the 4th girl to invite him and he'd get back to me cuz he hadn't decided yet and he wanted to see how many girls would ask him. I aske dwho the other 3 were and he said he never gave names. I know this is a lie because when I asked him to the last gc dance he told me who was taking him. yesterday two of my friends died as well as one of my good friends in the hospital in critial condition because of it. she has a 50% chance of living and will have permant brain damage no matter what.

i'm the sophomore vice president and i am planning on talking to my priciple into having a memorial service for them. i would like to know if anyone had any other idea's than the ones i already had - letting go of balloons at the end
- getting maybeee a memorial stone
- about 5 people lighting a candle in memory
- a slide show
- talking about how they effect their life and just little stories to let other people understand what they were like when they were alive
