My school's valentines dance is coming up and I asked this guy I like if he would go with me. He told me that I was the 4th girl to invite him and he'd get back to me cuz he hadn't decided yet and he wanted to see how many girls would ask him. I aske dwho the other 3 were and he said he never gave names. I know this is a lie because when I asked him to the last gc dance he told me who was taking him. Do you think he was lying to make me jealous or to give him an easy out if someone else did ask him?
ToxicBarbie answered Sunday January 21 2007, 9:28 pm: What i think is he's trying to weasel his way out of going to the dance with you. But you never know! So maybe you should ask around and see if he was really telling the truth.

However there's still a chance he wants to go with you so don't worry! But since he said he was waiting to see who else asked him, that's not complete rejection. But it makes it sound like he's waiting for a different girl...But if that's true, don't worry he's not the only fish in the sea! If I were you, I wouldn't wait for him to decide, you should find a guy who can decide who he likes the most right on the spot. Because, you could be wasting your time waiting for him while there's someone that likes you more than him. And after all that waiting he could say no. Hope I helped. good luck [ Depressed_Poet's advice column | Ask Depressed_Poet A Question ]
